The hotel was better than we expected. The room was clean, not new, but neat. The smell is good. The A/C is good. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are clean. The towels are old but clean. The bathroom and toilet are clean and intact. The breakfast was excellent, the set was standard, but everything was delicious: a fresh soft sponge cake, a good low-fat pork patty (i wish it was from turkey though), delicious fried potatoes and omelet, wonderful yogurt from a special machine with great jam. There was cream cheese, good bread, bagels, and dry oatmeal. This is the first time I've loved breakfast in a Best Western so much! I liked that a girl in the kitchen watched everything was in order, she was very nice. The hotel has a very large, clean and nice swimming pool, more than 2 times the average size.

There was no water or coffee in the lobby (apart from breakfast). A very thin blanket. There is no ventilation in the shower. The toilet is small, the door touches the toilet bowl, it can be inconvenient for some people. The washing accessories in all the Best Westerns are of very simple quality. In this hotel, 2 people were provided with one 22 ml jar of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. There was no fruit for breakfast.

How clean and nice the facilities were, including the pool. The bathroom was clean, everything was well maintained, and the TV even had Netflix with great cable and wifi capabilities.

The smell of smoke in my room, but to be fair, it was a smoking room, so it made sense, actually. Besides that, I liked everything about the room.

The staff were very friendly. The property is well maintained. I gave 10 “stars” due to the value+staff service+cleanliness was outstanding. The room was clean and tidy. We have a dog and the staff were so welcoming. The hotel was QUIET. We had a first floor room facing a busy road and we could not hear other guests or the outside traffic. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was really good. I would stay here again!

It was very reasonable. It was very neat, very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. We loved the life sized elephants at the entrance! Loved the Bama decor. The location was right off the interstate and close to everything.

Shower curtain needs replacing. The fridge didn’t have a freezer portion.

The staff other than front desk clerk were friendly and always smiling.

Front desk clerk was not friendly nor do I feel she likes people. I ask 2 questions at checking in and she just said no and didn’t even elaborate or even try to accommodate. The two questions were could I get a roll away bed or is it possible to get a room with a couch.

The property is always nice

I paid for my rooms a month ago ahead of my family members and requested that I be on a certain side of the property. They paid the day they got to the property and got on the side I requested for I don’t think that was right. I’ll rather pay my money somewhere else and just visit the property with them next time

It was quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The staff is very nice. Not sure what the front desk employee name is but this is the 2nd time we have stayed there in a month and she was very nice and sweet both times. We checked in about 5 or 6 pm. Check in was easy. If we have to come back to Tuscaloosa again, we will definitely stay here again.

The neighbors were too loud until about 11 pm, after I went outside and asked them to quiet down. About 5 men were partying outside our room . But this is not the hotel's fault. Just having guests who don't respect other guests.

This was my second time staying in this hotel and it's great every time. Any time I visit Alabama, I will always stay here. The staff are so nice, the hot breakfast is amazing and changes daily, the location is very central. Overall, love this place!

Everything was great, nice and clean environment. Right off the expressway. Room was very clean. It was a cold night the heating in the room was good. The staff was nice and friendly, The breakfast was good, and the lady working in the breakfast area was very nice and friendly. Restaurants were plenty and easily accessible. Two thumbs up!
