Hotel was clean, room was nice. Plenty of parking and in a safe area. The stay was absolutely fine and the rooftop bar was a nice touch 👌

After confirming it was "Happy Hour" at the bar, the bar staff allowed my wife and I to order whatever we liked right up until the 59th minute, where they then said "Sorry sir but none of the drinks you have had were included in happy hour offer!" One would of thought that between the 3 staff members working something could have been mentioned? A dirty trick for sure, but they done themselves out of a tip so the only winner here was the hotels bank balance.....!

staff was very friendly and helpful. the place was very nice and accommodating. coming back after dinner it was nice to be able to walk down by the river.

the only thing that had me confused was a $50 fee, but after talking to the front desk and finding out it would be returned within a few days made me feel better. I honestly have no complaints about this hotel or staff.

The space and location

We had to wait ALL day in order to check in, it was that night before we were able check in after coming back twice to see if room was ready. It was very inconvenient esp traveling with a 3 month old. They did give us some eat free breakfast and dinner vouchers to try to compensate for it which was nice. However, I would have preferred to have it taken off the price of the room since I wasn't in it the full time but they couldn't do that since it was booked through a 3rd party being booking.com. That said, can booking.com discount my stay for this trip or my next trip?

Location was perfect for our comedy show at the amphitheatre. We walked no more than a quarter mile I believe down a beautiful riverside trail.

The price seemed a bit more than I'd hoped, but for the convenience and beautiful scenery, I wouldn't expect it to be a ton less.

Being next to the gym more noisy and since we arrived way ahead of checkin at noon and out our name in I thought we would have had a better location and not stick beside the gym. Ps when people are running on the treadmill it sounds like something is banging in that room. Just an FYI thank you.

The beds were very comfortable. The bath was very clean. The hotel was super quiet despite a concert a block away.

The menus were extremely limited. If you have any dietary needs (vegan , vegetarian , allergy) you will have to dine outside the hotel or eat the same thing for every meal.

The breakfast was delicious ! The cook and staff were exceptional !!!

A charge of 93.03 was added to my bill ! I was told when I made the reservations (2 nights -Oct 6th and Oct 10th) Two separate nights. That the charge was 193.00 each night !! Quite a surprise !!

The one thing that I truly love about this property is that there is a trail where you can get morning daily exercise, clean safe area to walk in the day and or night

Wish there was some more options for the restaurant in the lobby for breakfast

Beautiful small hotel in a wonderful location! Rooms were very nice, comfortable and very clean. Loved the rooftop bar/restaurant and the amazing coffee shop right across the street. Perfect location -- quiet area near the river, everything downtown and a super quick 5 minute drive to The University of Alabama. Will definitely stay here again!!

Very clean and our suite was nice. Plus the distance from the shops and restaurants was good. The staff was very nice.

The price was ridiculous. Over $800. 😡 It was almost triple the price of what I would have paid elsewhere. Plus we only stayed one night.
