Location Location Location.

Apparently there was a mixup between hotel management and receiving payment confirmation from Booking.com. They finally worked it out and I got checked in. Then today when I checked out I got a call and they tried to charge me again. I had to go back through the whole thing over again explaining their management made an error. I still have over $900 dollars on hold on my card while I wait for them to reimburse my card! Oooh well. I guess they will figure it out. The gave me a complementary breakfast when I checked in.

Hotel Capstone is the perfect location to stay if you're visiting Alabama University. I was skeptical at first to book Hotel Capstone after reading the bad reviews. I am so happy I didn't listen and I booked it. Hotel Capstone was beautiful - spacious rooms - amazing staff and steps to Alabama University. I would 100% stay again!

Hotel Capstone was perfect! I cannot think of one thing that I did not like about Hotel Capstone. The staff always had smiles on their faces and you could tell that they even enjoyed working for Hotel Capstone.

the location cannot be beat and the staff was super helpful

we booked the only room that could accommodate 5 people - the king suite - which just had a king bed and a pull out sofa. we requested a roll away cot. the mattresses on the pull out and cot were so thin you could feel the metal parts of the frame and it was extremely uncomfortable. After a couple of sleepless nights we asked for a better solution and the gave up several mattress covers for both and it made a huge difference. We wished we had something sooner. I would suggest upgrading those mattresses. otherwise everything was top notch.

Beautiful grounds unique property. Staff excellent! Food very good, room service wonderful. Loved the shower and the view from our room.

Our room was a little dirty, visible body fluid in the bath, and it was a very small bath, we had a hard time getting in the bathroom and closing the door, we are small people too so that says a lot.

Moving my son into the University of Alabama. Like that it was close to campus and we could walk around and not worry about parking. Clean and convenient.

It’s expensive for what it is, but you are in a college town so that is what you are going to get. No free breakfast provided. Had to pay $13 for buffet. Also, only “free” coffee was a small Kurig type machine in the room.

How close it was to accessing the sporting event I was there to see my daughter!

There were 3 kids at the pool the entire time it was opened at 10 am to close. Had tons of toys all over very loud running around, and they took up the entire pool! No adult with them the oldestcwas 13 then two younger little kids boy and a girl. I dont like how the room prices get raised to a crazy price during some sporting events!!!! Especially when you are traveling 12 hours to see your child.

Great location , clean and comfortable ‘. Great restaurant but service at bar was very unpleasant ! Young lady did not get off her stool to wait on us and instead asked “did you all want something “ her exact words ! We didn’t come to the bar to watch to we came to have a drink and order dinner ! Never improved her attitude even with us making light conversation

The property was nice and clean. Very basic room.

It was not actually near the the center of the campus. We still had to drive. It was across the street from the practice field. Just to be more clear on what its near. Breakfast was not included so there was that extra cost for a buffet meal.

The breakfast was excellent! (However a little thing: For oatmeal, please provide brown sugar, raisins, and nut slivers. It's great oatmeal but plain!) Server gave fabulous service to our family. Front desk was very responsive. Room was comfortable, ambience excellent.

Nothng really. Just brown sugar and raisins for the oatmeal! A minor issue.

Loved the location, staff was great, it's an older hotel do take that for what it is. Loved the bed, very comfortable, loved the gym!

Could have been cleaner, vacuumed better, dusty and gross behind night stand. Look worn and a little beat up. The restaurant staff was horrible, rude and just looked really rough.
