We were in town for a concert at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater. The hotel was a short walk to the venue. We were able to stop for a bite to eat on the way. The staff, facilities, and location were all fantastic. Breakfast was great, all our faves and more! We enjoyed eggs, bacon, biscuits, and toast with juice and coffee. We will use this location for any future stays in town. Thank you for great hospitality!

The biggest downside was out of the hotel's control. It was the weather, really hot. There is only one sidewalk close to the hotel. It is on the opposite side of the street. This was no big deal as the venue is also on the opposite side. We would have needed to cross the street anyway

I loved the staff and the guests. The staff members were friendly, helpful, welcoming, thoughtful, insightful. The chamber maid was friendly, attentive, helpful. The guests I met in the hallways and elevator were all very pleasant and seemed to be enjoying their stay. I initially dreaded the quality of the complimentary breakfast, but overcoming my "fears," We ate a breakfast at the inn and found it to be quite enjoyable.

I didn't like the hallway carpet. It was visually disturbing and was a little disorienting. I didn't like the "wood" floor just inside the room entrance. It was quite slippery as tho' a "polish" or "oil" had been applied. I had to wipe it up with paper towels. I truly hated the smell in the hallway and guest room. The odor was heavily of disinfectant (or what we surmised to be chlorine). Cleanliness is great but this was awful.

The location is good. When we visit our daughter at the university, we like to stay close to downtown and close to the dorm. This fits the location needs. The staff is friendly.

The hotel itself smelled fine. The room was clean but smelled musty. It wasn't as damp as the room we stayed in on the first floor though. The coffee is weak and tasteless. The surge pricing is annoying. The price difference from one week to the next is staggering.

The hotel was fantastic. The lobby was clean large and very inviting for visiting with friends. The room was ready early as I requested. It was clean and the air worked well and it was a very hot day outside. The front office staff was outstanding. So friendly and very helpful in recommending places to eat. Ne'Kenja was 1 I would like to particularly mention. So very helprul. I will stay again if I ever have any more business in Tuscaloosa.

It's within walking distance from the river district and 5 minutes from where I was going at the University. Breakfast was standard, not much to ask for so it was great. Coffee was excellent. Could not beat the price

I traveled light to avoid checking bags since it was just an overnight stay, and when hotels don't have soap in the shower, I end up having to use the little tiny bars (at least I'm clean). Also, the shower drain slightly backed up during my stay (not much), but I would recommend drain to be cleaned out more often.

Wow, the property seemed clean and it smelled fine, it was extremely damp and humid. Our clothes were literally damp in our suitcases that we left open for the one night we were there. I think this facility, much like other places in Tuscaloosa, need some dehumidifiers. The floor was damp to walk on, which also was kind of gross.

Clean, well updated hotel. Super-friendly staff. Geographical location was near everything we needed. Breakfast was great!

No fault of the facility: Road construction made for a bit of a hassle to reach the property. Due to the construction, street was very deserted with an ominous feel at night.

I can't recall her name; however, 3pm-11pm lady at the front desk was extremely polite and nice. She was so helpful with giving me directions as to how to avoid extra traffic regarding where I was going, she was very polite and very personable. I have to say that she was very professional and caring, and I would rate her a 10 out of 10! The hotel management team should acknowledge her for a job well done. Sherry Reynolds

The location was great, close to the University of Alabama campus. The breakfast was very good and well maintained. What stood out the most was the staff. Everyone at the front desk, the kitchen and housekeeping were so nice and helpful! I can't say enough good things about the staff here! I highly recommend this place and when we come back we will stay here!
