Grateful for Eric at front desk. He was the hardest working front desk staff. We appreciate his professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail. We had a problem with finding bugs in our bed one night. He offered advice to wash all of our clothes before we move to the next room. We received an upgraded room - corner double queen. What a great room! So glad it had a bidet, too! Just like home! We felt at home at Embassy Suites Waikiki! All the staff were great - Jay at breakfast always greeted us and exchanged pleasantries. The chefs at the omelet station were greaT and the bartender at cocktail hour! All terrific! Also liked the location! Very convenient!

Noticed in both rooms we stayed in - the dusting could be improved. Dust on the lamps were noticeable. We have allergies to dust and just wiped it off. And the bugs! We l ost a day of our vacation just doing laundry and cleaning everything out to make sure that there were no hitchihikers! It was thankfully, not bed bugs. But might have been beach bugs.

The rooms were great with a little extra space to relax in, location convenient to the main street. Included breakfast and afternoon managers reception were an added extra which we appreciated. The pool area was large and easy to get a spot, all staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

The wait for the elevators at times was at times difficult - had to squeeze in and seperate our family on multiple occasions. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the main part of Waikiki beach and the beach path was closed, so had to walk down main street to access the beach.

There was heaps to like about this property! The staff were excellent, the room (and all the amenities!) were clean and comfortable, the pool and surrounding area was great, breakfast and dinner snacks were enjoyable. The location was perfect! Close to the beach and shops. I loved the evening snacks and complimentary drinks, sitting out on the terrace was so enjoyable.

I would have loved better vegan options at breakfast, there was almond milk but you had to specifically ask for it and there was no vegan options for hot food or butters. The room had a microwave and a kettle but no plates or cutlery which made it hard to prepare meals there. There was also not a lot of tea (1 bag) or sugar in the room when we arrived, really only enough for one cup of tea, and no mugs just take away coffee cups or glasses.

The room was large enough for 5 of us, beds were comfortable, and pool area well kept and large enough for number of guests using it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not as varied as higher end hotels we have stayed at however it was free. The omelettes were nice. Could do with more fresh cut fruit options The free afternoon drinks were a nice inclusion. I would stay here again for the great location and space for the price, was a good value option for us.

Food offerings were not as varied as other hotels we have stayed at. Some renovations were happening but this was not disclosed prior - it wasn’t too bad but there was some overhead drilling sounds in the mid mornings above our room.

We love Embassy Suites, we have stayed there many times. Location is great and the staff are very nice. We have 4 children and this is the best place to accommodate 6 of us comfortably.

The only thing I don’t like is that they have replaced many ‘free’ pool chairs with cabana style chairs and umbrella’s that you need to pay for. Most of the cabana’s were empty while we were there and people were struggling to find free chairs around the pool. They really should remove these expensive cabana chairs and just put regular pool chairs and more free umbrellas around. It is a very family friendly hotel and I don’t think we should have to pay extra for fancy pool cabanas and umbrella’s.

We LOVED our stay here. The cleanness and hospitality was amazing! Definitely staying again and referring family and friends. The included breakfast was perfect and good quality food. We tipped the waiters every day because they worked so fast to get a space cleaned and ready for the next guest.

The pool is very small and taken over by kids. Spent maybe all of 10 minutes at the pool and didn’t even get in it. We loved the happy hour and drink tickets but it would have been better if we could spend time at the pool. It was ok with us cause we were in Hawaii and love the beach more. But if we were not close to the beach we would have been extremely disappointed. There should be a time designated for adults. Maybe 8-10.

They have a free breakfast buffet every morning, and that is great! The hotel room size was very comfortable. There was a pull out couch in the living area that was very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful when getting the car and helping us with sightseeing. They also have a happy hour every night with drinks, snacks, and music. You get drink tickets upon check-in. This hotel is in a great area. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. Make sure you check out Dune's restaurant Prime Rib night on Thursday's, it's great!!

There wasn't anything we didn't like. This is a great family or couple hotel. It's in a great area.

Location was great - 1 block from beach, right next to restaurants and shops, free breakfast was amazing!!, the pool was great and had lots of shaded areas and a bar, evening reception was good, staff was all very friendly, valet was great and worth the price to just walk into the hotel. I would stay here again if we returned to Oahu.

Our only issue was sticky spots on the carpet in our room. They came up promptly to clean them when I called the front desk.

Location and general ease of getting around. We were there early - room wasn’t ready - and then our room was late, when we went back a third time there was still an issue but there was a man of Asian descent at check in who was very good and solution oriented and sorted it out immediately as opposed to the First Lady who just kept saying no even after 3pm - he had exceptional customer service and should be training the other staff

The location was perfect for the beach and the Waikiki strip. Public transport (bus) isnt far away. The motel facilities were good, unfortuantely pool maintenance prevented us from using the pool for 2 days. Breakfast is a great selection of foods, happy hour provides a great atmosphere and vibe.

Unfortunately the pool being out of action for 2 days but that couldnt be helped. having a room next to lift tower was a bit noisy
