Beautiful and modern , I was in one of the new modern rooms. I loved the new modern bathroom and shower , the big comfortable double bed and flat screen smart Tv. Plenty channels and things to watch, fully functioning air con not too loud. Room was cleaned every day and coffee pods and coffee machine free to use in room with water in the fridge too. It was a great location for being a first time tourist in LA, being in this hotel honestly made a big difference to my trip to have the comfort every morning and evening. I had a great view of Los Angeles and could even see the Hollywood sign which was cool! Honestly I would stay here again and recommend it Security guard outside

Probably just that there was no breakfast area or facility , you can tell this hotel is in between Renovating and in future hope they have a breakfast area as it would really add to the hotel. Probably wouldn’t be out around this area too late at night as a solo traveller so I made sure I was back early enough each evening but that’s just the location and nature of being in La

The condo rooms are at a great value for the price. A full apartment as opposed to just an hotel room.

Paid parking, we parked on the street but there are huge rats outside the property next to the one homeless encampment. But this is LA, unfortunately homelessness is huge issue.

Super clean and spacious room. Beautiful bathroom and simple minimalistic design. Perfect for our needs. The location is great—so many restaurants within walking distance and it felt safe walking around at night. The view facing the hills is awesome! You can see the Hollywood sign and downtown. The staff was very kind and helpful as well.

The lobby is still pretty outdated compared to the newly renovated rooms. Hopefully they update the entrance in the future, but it’s pretty minor. There is also a $200 safety deposit when you check in which I didn’t know about, so be aware of that. The charge is returned once you check out.

Central location. Clean comfortable accommodation. Full kitchen. Very reasonably priced for LA. We stayed in the 2bed/2bath condo/apmt.

The only con was the WiFi connection was unsecured and really slow. Not adequate for streaming YouTube or Netflix. If you’re doing laundry remove the microwave from the top of the unit or it will vibrate off. Thankfully we didn’t leave and moved it before it fell off. Oh and the name on the outside of the building is not hotel Koxie so that can be confusing when you first arrive.

There's a 28 Bus that's just a short 3-minute walk away that takes you to the main downtown areas like Little Tokyo that I found to be very accessible. The staff were incredibly nice and spoke Spanish/Korean/English from the times I've heard. Our room was as expected and had all the necessities, and I was sufficiently comfortable during my stay. The lobby was nice and clean, while the staff were at the counter ready to help 24/7.

I didn't dislike anything in particular about the hotel, but just be aware if coming in as a tourist/non-local. It's still LA, and even in general, just be cautious and aware of your surroundings when walking around at night.

The beds were really comfortable and the amenities are great Shower is clean, and easy to use. Hotel is always clean. Staffs are friendly. Location is really good. Walking distance to 2 Korean marts and various nice Korean restaurants. Mapo chicken and Sun nong dan are our favourites. Koreatown plaza foodcourt has great variety too. Uber to LA downtown within 10-15mins drive.

The rooms didn't have water heater or microwave. Although they have that at the lobby but it'll be nice for the room to have a water kettle.

It was a nice location with security available. The underground parking is great too since it can get hot outside. We had a great view out of our window, so when we visited for the 4th it was a great place to watch the fireworks. The beds were so soft and pillows very comfortable. They have a spacious bathroom with lighting options. They also have retro fridges and telephones that are just so cool to see. It was a perfect room for my friend and I.

Not a big deal, but I wish they have microwaves in the room. They do have a microwave available at the first floor for everyone to use.

This hotel was very lowkey and nice, and the gentleman who checked me in at 1:30AM due to my flight being delayed was extremely kind and welcoming. The location was really convenient if you're in town for Kpop stuff. The galleria mall is right across the street, and then down a little ways more is the plaza mall. As well as restaurants and other kpop stores. All in walking distance. As for the room - I know this feature might not mean much for some people, but for me - I was thrilled. The bathroom had an extendable showerhead!!! I'm autistic and sensory-wise, I never feel clean with just a fixed overhead showerhead so this was a major MAJOR plus for me! Huge flat screen smart TV so I could watch my comfort show Bob's Burgers on Hulu. Complimentary bottle of water was in the cute little vintage fridge, and I believe the gentleman who checked me in said that housekeeping would replace it for you if you drink it. The bed was also really comfortable. All in all, the room was very nice and cozy. Location was convenient and the staff I encountered were kind! I recommend it for sure.

When I arrived at the hotel, it was 1:30AM in the morning. What I'm about to share isn't exactly the hotel's fault, but yikes. So it was late at night, I'm a younger girl all by myself and my uber dropped me off at the front of the building and left. Well, as I'm walking to the entrance doors, there are paper signs taped to the glass saying to enter in the back entrance. I had to walk around the entire building by myself at night with my luggage and everything, to get inside. Like I said, not exactly the hotel's fault but I kinda think having a front entrance is important?

Beautiful room, great kitchen, comfortable bed. We had the apartment or condo room. Had a kitchen with full size fridge, stove, dishes and silverware as well as a microwave. The rest area had a very big TV and a table with chairs. Room was separated with storage for clothes. The bathroom was fantastic, water got super hot and not horrible pressure. Everything was clean and modern. Kind staff. Great value!

Area was definitely on the louder side, but definitely not unmanageable. Is in a high traffic area so exiting was on the longer side.

The apartment was nice and new and very clean. There is a small supermarket close to the hotel and a lot of busses. The kitchen is well equipped. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again for a few days.

The security deposit is still not returned after five days. There is also no mention of the name everywhere, everything has the name hotel rotex on it, which is weird. The neighborhood is okay, but you don’t want to go out alone at night. We booked for five people, so we had a sofa to sleep on, but we got no bedding for the sofa.
