The room had everything we needed. It's in the center of Vang Vieng. There are many restaurants close by. We can recommend the restaurant across the street for breakfast. The room was small, but there was air conditioning. It is definitely good for the price.

You can hear the restaurants close by. Sometimes they played loud music, sometimes they did Karaoke, but they stopped at around 1:00 am and we were able to sleep anyway. The stuff is uncomplicated, but they don't understand much English. They also have a service to book busses, but they weren't very helpful. There are other services in the city we would rather recommend.

Great value for money on backpacking trip. Private room with own bathroom and strong aircon. Located right in centre. Would recommend if you aren’t looking for a party hostel but want a low price private room

Blinds are very light so room is bright from 7am. Have to ask for toilet roll/ fresh towels. We booked hot air balloon through them but $105 price quoted is based off old exchange rate and actual cost was $110 when we booked and paid in Kip.

The owner is really nice and supportive. He supported us with every single ask-for-help and information around Vang Vieng. He also has a 24-hour motorbike rental service with super cool motorbikes I really like it. The room is spacious enough for a couple and has a private bathroom and a cute balcony (can you believe that?). With that price, it exceeds my expectation and I couldn't ask for more. Definitely, I would book this accommodation if I ever have a chance to go back to Vang Vieng, and will surely recommend it to any of my friends if they plan to visit Vang Vieng

Legit nothing

Great location in the centre of the town. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner helped us to organise transport to Vientiane on a local mini van for 100,000 kip each which was cheaper than all other options advertised in the town (although it was a very crammed minivan but we didn't care!) The owner also allowed us to park our motor bike inside at night in a safe place and got up at 5:30am the next morning to allow us to get our bike for a sunrise hike. This was very kind of him as he understood the scams that can happen in the area. Great value for money.

The price we were charged differed from the price advertised on Booking.com by approx. 20-30,000 kip. We did not mention this to the owner as we did not realise until after we paid. The room was generally very clean however the mirrors needed a good wipe down as there was alot of dust and water marks present.

Cozy room & comfy bed, space to hang my clothes. Rented a scooter directly at the guesthouse. Plenty of breakfast options around, well located.

Since located in the main area, room was a little bit noisy in the evening/at night. No options to refill your water bottle, also no free coffee/tee in the morning.

Great location in Vang Vieng, super central and walking distance to everything in the city. Clean room and staff were helpful with organising our bus tickets onwards.

It would be good if the room was cleaned after a few nights of staying there and water + toilet paper were replenished.

Really loved Soutjai Guesthouse. very conveniently located in the centre of the town, close to all the bars, shops, restaurants etc. Room was clean, air con worked well and staff were easy going, honest and helpful. We rented a scooter from them too which was well priced and was in very good condition. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we return to Vang Vieng.

The owner was really helpful by organizing my transport to Phonsavan. The location of the guesthouse was great for me. It is in a more quite area of the town but still in the center, with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. The room and it's facilities were fine and the WiFi in my room was fast.

There was always a lot of air in the water pipes, otherwise it was fine. People with limited mobility might have troubles with the steep stairs.

Location, comfort,and staff are all so good. The location is great, everything is closely by. Lots of shops and eateries all around.Night market is at walking distance. Comfortable beds and good spacious rooms with all basic amenities. All of this at pocket friendly price makes the stay more enjoyable. Surely a good go to location in Vang Vieng.

Location was perfect - booked the hot air balloon through through the guest house which was the cheapest place we found. We stayed an extra night!

Shower didn’t last hot for long
