I loved the location. It was easy to walk to restaurants, shopping and bars. The pool was big so I could swim laps every afternoon. I liked that it was in the shade after 2 pm as I prefer to stay out of the sun. The breakfast was ok, you had a choice of eggs, pancakes or soup. A small fruit plate came with it. Coffee was only instant so sometimes I went out to get a real cup! Despite the bars along the road, the building was behind another, so I didn't hear much. The management has signs up asking guests to be quiet and respect others. Quite a few young people were staying there but thankfully they were not the noisy, partying backpacker types I observed at some other hotels in the area. The fridge in my room didn't work but they replaced it right away. They had electric sockets on both sides of the bed and next to the desk so easy to charge my electronics. I very much appreciated the central hot water! Most hotels in this price range have wall-mounted instant water heaters that don't give you a good hot shower. The bed was very comfortable. The WiFi was good, as a digital nomad, I appreciated it had enough bandwidth to support online video meetings.

The parking is not good for cars. Only one spot along the fence and you must be very careful to get very close to the fence so cars can get by you. There is ample motorbike parking if you travel that way. Street parking is not advisable. The road is narrow and the businesses would probably object to overnight parking. They should cut down the bushes along the fence to make parking easier. The nightstands next to the bed were broken. I reported it but nothing was done. It's cheap pressboard stuff, not very durable. The desk was good but the drawer was broken and didn't open easily.

We came back to the Jasmine Vangvieng Hotel as we enjoyed staying here before. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, Peter was an excellent host ensuring we had a good time whie staying at the hotel the accommodation is excellent with air-conditioning the beds very comfortable. On a hot day, to have a swim in the pool so refreshing. If we come back to Vang Vieng, we will definitely stay here again. It is an excellent view to watch the hot air balloons. Great location for bars restaurants shops and street food

Peter and the staff are very friendly and welcoming and helpful. The room was perfect with air-conditioning and a fridge. The view from the room was excellent looking at the mountains and watching the hot air balloons going past quite close. The location was great for restaurants and shops and cafes and bars. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit plus toast and jam. You could have pancakes or omelette or noodles. We liked it so much we stayed a couple more days, will definitely stay there

The location was perfect - just next to Jaidees bar and 4min to the main road. The pool was big enough for swimming. The room had a working fridge and a good wifi connection. It had 2 bins (important for me who eats tons of watermelon a day 😜), warm shower, good beds and it was clean. AC worked. There was also a fan to draw air out. The host Peter was the highlight of my stay. We connected well and we would go get a drink together, play snooker and go partying ;) He was kind and shared a lot of interesting things about his life. He also spoke English quite good and would help organize activities. The motorbike rent was 160k. Laundry 30k.

The linen was synthetic. I guess because it allows them to dry faster. Still I think synthetic linen should not be allowed anywhere - especially in hot climates. It does not breathe.

I came back to this hotel later during my holiday because from all the hotel in the country this has been by far my best experience . The staff was very friendly especially (Peter )welcoming and helpful . The view from the hotel room were absolutely mesmerizing I love the outside seating too where I was enjoying delicious breakfast every single morning and this area together with pool made people naturally bond and hang out with each other .and about the pool , it is obviously very well maintained since water was always very clean, fresh and it had the needed temperature .Thank you all so much for your kindness I’ve felt really welcome here

I didn’t like the fact that all these beautiful people were working hard to accommodate all my needs when I was doing nothing and just enjoying my holiday

We loved everything about this Hotel and Vang Vieng , to the point where we booked an extra 4nights with them. The hotel is ideally located and within walking distance of everything. We had paid for the Mountain View room, which I would definitely recommend. The view was stunning. Rooms were a good size, clean and beds lovely and comfortable. The staff were fabulous and couldn’t do enough for you. They booked tours, bike rental, hot air balloon ride and Train for when we left. We literally told them what we wanted and they sorted it all. No stress. The Breakfast had a good selection and the pool was great for a cool down in. I would highly recommend to anyone.

It wasn’t an issue for us, but maybe for others. Its opposite a lively bar so either take some ear plugs or go and join in the party

This hotel is in a great location as within walking distance to the restaurants and cafes. The rooms with balconies on the top floor (no elevator) have the best views of the karst mountains and it's magical to watch the hot air balloons rise in the morning for the sunrise flights and then descend in the same spot for the sunset flights. Beautiful views. There is also a small back balcony to oversee the city. The room, although basic, was a good size and light and airy.

The bathroom needs redecorating and a good clean, especially around the windows, the corners and behind the door. But th e shower worked well and had good pressure

-friendly and efficient stuff. We booked a transfer and rented a scooter with them. Both was perfect. Also we spent one more night as originally planned. -nice view from the balcony in the third floor. -Breakfast was nice. Lots of fruits to choose from and severall western and asian options available as well. -pool area was quiet

-The Hotel is located next to 2 Bars. It can get a bit loud until 2am...but thats nothing that the Hotel can change so nothing to complain about here. -The water quality of the Pool could be a bit better. It is still good enough for a quick swim although.

Not the hotels fault but we may not have booked if we knew that it was right beside 2 main bars in Vang Vieng which play VERY loud music until 1.30/2am - you definitely need earplugs to have any hope of sleeping We had an issue with a leak around the toilet - we were offered to move rooms after 2 nights (hotel was full at the start of our stay) but looks like an ongoing issue mentioned in a few reviews
