Our room was very spacious. The top floor did indeed have a top view. The hotel helped us with booking day trips which was useful. even though we were checked out for the day, when we returned to get a taxi back to the train station the kind, friendly staff let us shower in an empty hotel, very helpful.
Our bathroom flooded after every shower, at least a couple inches deep. the wall got very damp because of the heavy rain fall. the room also flooded through the balcony doors. and unfortunately in the last hour of our stay the water stopped running throughout the whole hotel which meant the toilet would not flush (stinky).

The view from our room was magnificent. The room was very inexpensive which makes a lot of the problems forgivable. The staff were very helpful. The fridge was small but worked very well. Wifi worked well too. We would return.
Television didn't work. At breakfast the juice was hot and the food was cold. The water doesn't go down the drain in the shower because there is no slope on the floor. The safe was useless. It wasn't attached to anything and didn't work properly. Hotel is definitely not 4 star.

The whole hotel was nice and the room was amazing, spacious and with beautiful views of the mountains from two extra-large windows. I regretted that I spent there only one night. It was also great that there was a swimming pool - not very big, but one could still relax and cool down after the activities during the day. Everything was very clean. The staff were kind and helpful. I was allowed to check in early which I very much appreciated. The location was good, in the "centre" of the village.
The swimming pool area could be nicer, there were tiles only around the pool, otherwise just bare concrete, some pipes and cables... Would be nice to organise it somehow, maybe decorate with some plants or something.

Room: Stunning views !! Comfy bed Mini fridge Good Balcony Good AC Pool: Clean Well maintained In the shade Plenty if loungers Food: Really good breakfast, Buffet style with plenty of choice Overall: Modern interior helpfull staff and can book activities at the front desk 24/7 staffing at the counter Quiet and Clean Can book a taxi direct from the hotel to train station (Cheaper than local tuk tuk) really good value for money
Bathroom: In our particular room, the drainage for the shower was not the best, because of this the whole bathroom would flood after a shower which is not ideal Location: Not a massive deal breaker but a bit more of a walk out of town, about a 5-10min walk into town but well worth it for the views.

The view from the balcony of the room I stayed in is excellent! I could view the sunset every evening. So calm and peaceful. During the day when I am back in the room to evade the heat of the day, I could lie down in bed and view the hills from the comfort of my bed. It was so calming and it heals my soul. During the morning, I could also sit out at the balcony to enjoy the sound of the cockerels, the coolness of the morning and the sound of children playing happily down on the street. Instead of staying three nites as originally planned, I ended up in the same hotel for six nites. I highl recommend a stay for view and the prices the hotel charges. So worth it.
Breakfast dishes should be changed every morning so that if you have a prolonged stay here you do not get tired of the dishes available.

- Probably best view in vang Vieng from 6th floor with balcony - amazing front desk (especially Mim). helped me with many booking and inquires, above and beyond - generally very clean and comfortable - easy walking to main street yet far enough to enjoy the view and less noise
These were fine with me as I'm not fussy but I thought I'd set expectations so people don't get disappointed. - bathroom facilities not in top shape, water would pool from shower and not go down, I had to block it from entering rest of bathroom - small traces of ants - no wardrobe - security box not secured to anything

We had an amazing stay at VANG VIENG TOPVIEW HOTEL, the view from our balcony was incredible over the city surrounded by mountains. We were only here for 2 nights but the staff were incredible especially Mim, who helped us to cram everything we wanted to do into our time including a hot air balloon ride, tipsy tubing and visits the the blue lagoons. Mim also took our whatsapp and went above and beyond to help us find things we wanted and liaise for us. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the town centre and had a cute night market and bars near by. For £27 for 2 nights the hotel also had a great buffet breakfast too. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Thank you for our stay and to Mim for helping us.
Maybe the pool, but we were too busy doing stuff to use it anyway.

We had a lovely view of vang vieng from our room and it was clean and tidy. Spacious room. The best part about our stay was the young lady in reception. Travelled over 20 countries and she was the best hotel reception staff we’ve ever come across. So attentive, really cared about how you were and couldn’t have gave us enough help and advice between suggestions of what to do and what we should pay for things. She made sure we were able to get on a hot air balloon trip which can be quite difficult to arrange in the wet season. The day we were booked into fly she confirmed with me on what’s app that it was going ahead and that our driver was on the way. This was 2 hours before her shift started at 5am. Me and my partner really can’t speak highly enough of her. She made the stay so much better. This hotel is very lucky to have a staff member like this. Thankyou M

This property is definitely good value for the price! I had a double comfy bed on a top floor, with an amazing view on Vang Vieng. Sure, the water in the bathroom does not evacuate perfectly well, but it was such a treat to have - for once - a real shower (with as much hot water as needed on top of it). In the morning, you have a buffet breakfast with various options, both Lao and Western. Finally, there is a small swimming pool and, even if it’s kinda inside and not so sunny, it’s still very nice after a long hiking day. For this price, this is for sure one of the best accommodations I had in Laos! Also, if you are like me and not so keen on partying like crazy, the place is calm and a little away from the busy city center (but still walking-distance so it’s actually perfect).
