One of the best views in town. The rooms are large and full of light. The staff try hard but it's best to use Google Translate. The breakfast was good 3 out of 4 times, with vegan options each day and different each day. I gave it an 8 for the view, but would never return - see negatives.

The whole place is rather tired and needs an upgrade. The neighbouring hotels are loud, sometimes partying until 5am. My room wasn't cleaned when I asked it to be. They rarely put the pool's shade umbrellas out, so the lounge chairs are in the baking sun. On the last morning, there was no usual breakfast buffet and no explanation; so all I had was some fruit and 2 pieces of disgusting white toast (and good espresso coffee and fruit juice).

The view of the mountains from the room was stunning. The pool was lovely and the staff were very friendly.

The bathroom decor was a bit run down & old fashioned but it was fine.

Good breakfast, nice staff, lovely view of the river.

The long tail boats are very noisy at dawn and dusk which spoils the tranquillity of an otherwise beautiful place.

Location is very nice and good view

Nice big clean room, overlooking the lime casts. Lovely big pool and the best hotel breakfast we’d enjoyed in Laos - delicious! The staff took great care of us when we required help accessing medical care. They kindly took us to hospital and ensured we could get back to the hotel safely.

Future guests should be aware that loud celebrations/karaoke music smoking in hotels is the norm in many hotels on the waterfront and even if booking a smoke-free room, expect a level of cigarette smoke creeping in.

Location on the river. Breakfast was good.

Moms room a/c would go below 25°. Sisters room slider didn’t lock, changed room and was worse shape, ended up in original room with a hanger holding slider locked. My first room sliding door didn’t lock and had a ladder that led up to terrace. Smelled old and musty. No hot water in shower. Couldn’t be fixed so changed rooms. Tv didn’t work in either room. 2nd room had black mold on the ceiling. Hotel was full and it was late so stayed in 2nd room.
