Great little hostel. Travelled with my adult daughter and was allocated twin bed room with 2 double beds with balcony that had amazing views of the mountain ranges. Location was in middle of town, very close to eateries and walking distance to river. The receptionist, Hanna, was outstanding! Brilliant service, handled our bookings of tours and the train and also managed rebooking the hot air balloon for us as our first was cancelled during weather. Can’t say enough thanks for her service!

Late night party guests were noisy on their return, and a new nightclub was quite loud (but it was drowned out once aircon was turned on) but as it’s a hostel for backpackers rather than a 5 star resort this is not a complaint.

Sisavang is perfectly located in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore local attractions, shops, and restaurants. The transportation options are excellent, with nearby bus stops, a metro station. The staff at Sisavang were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, especially Hanna. We booked a city tour through the hotel which was well-organized and informative. Additionally, the motorbike rental service allowed us to explore the city at our own pace. Overall, a wonderful stay with outstanding service. Highly recommend Sisavang!

The breakfast was pretty good. There are plenty of fruits to choose, bread and pancakes, 4 -5 main dishes, beverages, etc. They value the comfort of guests. My favorite was the fried rice… I have eaten fried rice many times in different places but there tasted really good. The black coffe is bottomless. 🥰

I like everything out there. It is pretty clean. It was my first encounter of a hotel that does not allow shoes inside its premises. So you have to either keep the shoes on the shoe rack by the entrace or carry it to your room. Of course I carried mine all along everywhere I go inside the hotel. It was funny, though I like it! I really appreciate the staff of the hotel specially the reception staff, Miss Hana and her sister. They are so kind, friendly and helpful. Miss Hana has done a lot of help to make my stay at Vang Vieng worthwhile from upgrading my room to transportaion and arranging my outdoor adventures.

First room I had was good , had a small balcony but no view , then I was able to upgrade to a room with a large balcony facing the mountains which was amazing , breakfast buffet was fantastic there was a good variety of food that caters for everyone from fruit and toast to pancakes ,fried rice , omelettes and more .There is spectacular views from various accessible viewpoints around the upper floors and the dining area . The pool was clean , the hotel also does laundry and has scooters,bus tickets etc

We loved our stay here, the view was incredible for such a low price, the beds we’re comfortable, the bathroom was great, the shower was separated from the rest of room so it wasn’t a wet room, there was a fridge to keep water in, the room was huge. The included breakfast was good, fresh fruit, rice, eggs etc

The pillows are very large and firm which we found uncomfortable but may not be for others, there was a large patch of mould on the roof in the bedroom and the room was not cleaned at all during our stay, so we ran out of toilet paper and we had to ask multiple times for more as we stayed for quite a few days

Right in the middle of town. Has free water refill which we have found super important to not be consistently buying single use plastic water bottles. The buffet breakfast is super good and we would load up and often make it through to dinner. Super cheap with amazing staff. Beds are super comfy. The shower and toilet are in separate areas. In 3 months of backpacking this has easily been our favorite accom and an amazing price. Sad to leave as we loved it so much

Sometimes the hallways would be echoed as other guests could be loud as they walked in and out of their rooms. Not the hotels fault though for poor guest indicate and wasn't much of an issue at all to be fair.

Great place to stay if you are on a budget. The views from the top floors were very nice and the pool was clean. Spacious rooms and friendly staff also. Good location close to the center of everything in the town also.

The breakfast was okay, but not as great as it could have been regarding items offered and how they served it. Still...for the price can't really complain.

We were so impressed with our stay at Sisaveng. The room is exactly like the photos, clean, comfortable beds, hot water in the shower, effective AC, modern decor and a really good breakfast included in the price. We found the staff to be so friendly and helpful for anything we needed including new towels and extra pillows when requested. One of our party were injured at the time and they were really kind and had an accessible lift. We found the location to be absolutely perfect, so central to all of the restaurants and bars without being too close to hear the noise. Really recommend staying here!

One night of our 7 night stay there was incredibly loud music coming from some sort of event that was pitched up next to the hotel. Thankfully this was a one off and it was quiet every other night. The balcony was incredibly dirty but didn’t impact our stay too much.

Room: - Our room was on the top floor - Good bathroom size Bed was comfy enough Pillows were a little hard AC was OK Had a fan fitted aswell Bathroom: Had a power shower, which was OK Nice and big Breakfast: Was pretty good with a decent selection - on the 5th floor Location: Very central and bus from the train station cost 30k KIP and dropped you off right outside Opposite a little market with everything you need, and next to a tourist activity place where you can book tubing and the offroad buggies

- There is no pool at this property - Room: Window overlooked an adjacent hotel with NO netting curtains so they could look straight into the room Pillows were kinda hard Only plug sockets on one side of the bed Bathroom: Pressure wasnt the best and was not the hottest, but passable Overall not a deal breaker but deffo annoying
