Loved our stay! The first thing we noticed was the staff.. so lovely and welcoming! The hotel itself is large and clean with an elevator, great location in main tourist area, small free very basic breakfast, clean room with soft beds, many windows and 2x fan which we appreciated greatly as our chosen room had no aircon. They provide bus services which are cheap in comparison to online booking websites. We really enjoyed our stay, felt accommodated for greatly. :)

The only negative for us personally as females (when choosing the shared bathroom option) is that there are urinals in every bathroom provided (including one labeled as “woman’s”..) obviously this is not a major concern, we personally weren’t big fans, however it is just an observation! :)

The location is just near to Mixay Temple, there are Atm, pharmacy, mini shops besides. It provides train and other transport booking services, and price is reasonable. The staff is very friendly, they also have free breakfast in the morning.

The decoration is kind old style, low price room with fan only, the room near to the street is hot and quite noisy at night, better to book inside or upgrade to advanced room.

The check-in process was fast and the staff give us a really clear instruction and with a smile :) The room is better than expect comparing to the price we paid. All the amenities are available, they have water station for you to refill water and the balcony give you a great view over Mixay Temple. The location is right in the center of the Vientiane Old Town part where there are abundance of restaurants and bars. You can easily walk to the night market as well from this hotel.

The quality of breakfast could be better.

Many bests, one of them: hotel thinks about everything that tourist might need - and developed it. Laundry? Yes. Small breakfast to start a day with? Yes. You want to send a postcard? Yes. Water in the room? Got it. Place to seat? Big hall. Eat? Resto in front, facing nice Wat ( temple). In need to reserve any ticket? Realising within minutes. You need information anytime? Literally yes. Reception 24 hs. Speaks English. Last but not the least- polite and nice attitude towards guests. Both Reception and cleaning Staff of our room were always smiling and nice. We came in the very morning, was greeted, offered cup of coffee, offered leaving luggages near Reception. You feel that everybody here works on your comfort and satisfaction. Ps. Bed is big and comfortable, view nice and room big enough.

Nothing that should put of. We would recommend this hotel to everybody. to improve this very comfortable stay hotel can equip the bathroom with water squeegee. someone put a drain near the door, so the water from the shower flows through the entire bathroom😆

Good location close to river and major sites of interest, friendly concierge who offer many services such as booking train/bus tickets for you, clean rooms with decent enough wifi for working and clean shared bathrooms.

Breakfast is extremely basic. No AC in rooms (fans were fine but I imagine it wouldn't be ideal in the summer). I wouldn't say what you get is necessarily that amazing relative to the price, but that's Vientiane for you.

I moved here from another hotel and had two heavy suitcases to move. Staff from Mixay walked with me to the other place and brought my luggage to Mixay. Great guy. Hotel is spotless, bathrooms are cleaned many times per day, the lounge on my floor was open air and comfortable, dining is good, they made bus reservations for me, bed was comfortable, wifi is good.

The rooms are small.

Free coffee in morn with sandwiches is great! But the best thing about this property is the staff they are so cheerful and helpful. It is also an AMAZING location, right next to the Mekong river, markets and walking distance from retry much all the main tourist attractions. Rooms are very basic and warm with just a fan, but this is a budget stay and therefore I think it is excellent value for money. Would recommend to friends

I did get ripped off by tuktuk driving who wait outside the hotel (nothing to do with the hotel) just warning travelers to avoid them!!!

Great location at a price that's good for Vientiane. Staff are lovely and helpful. Sustainable toiletries. Unlimited, filtered and chilled water available all day. Free bananas available all day! TV had good reception and a couple of English language channels, which is unusual in Laos at this price point. I'd have given a 9 rating except that the room was very small.

The staff here are so kind and really helpful - they made our stay so enjoyable! The rooms were good, facilities all worked fine, the complimentary breakfast in morning is a jam sandwich with a hot drink. It’s in a very good location. Highly recommend if you want a budget friendly stay in Vientiane!

Fanastic staff, always friendly, smiley, polite, respectful and professional. Very welcoming. The friendliest people I have met. Nice lift, tasty coffee and smoothies, and omlettes. Great location. Affordable price. Comfortable bed. RAPID Wifi.

Very hot room. Windows overlooking corridor. No air con in cheaper rooms.
