The hotel is only open for about a year and a half, everything is still new. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel does not have a parking lot but they help with free parking at the nearby temple. Great location, close to the night market and many restaurants. At night it is very quiet and safe, I can run outside for a bit before going to sleep.

The hotel is very close to the bustling night market, the nearby Italian and French restaurants are very good. I was introduced to a local restaurant just a five minute walk away, everything was great. My room was very clean, the housekeepers were very friendly but they did not speak English. Breakfast with most typical Asian dishes.

My third time back to the hotel, everything was perfect for me. They have a new coffee machine and the breakfast the day I stayed had delicious chicken noodles

I went to meet my Laos English grandson age 5 ..for the first time....... Vientiane was just wonderful .the hotel is in a fantastic location .staff couldn't have been more helpful....I'm 70... My room was excellent for the price paid..bright modern comfortable.....for me the breakfast was slightly disappointing.......however I Initially stayed at The Laos Plaza. Different price. So shouldn't really compare both......would recommend. From my heart..

Night manager (or staff) in the evening overcharged us for a taxi to our dinner location. Originally he tried to charge us 200,000 (£7) for a 5 minute drive. After we questioned this, he dropped it to 150,000 however this was still too expensive. The hotel we had our dinner at kindly ordered us a taxi back via the Laos taxi app which was only 50,000 later that evening. This was disappointing from the staff at Riverside as they were taking advantage of our nativity and the fact we were unable to download the Laos taxi app which we would have used if we had been able to. The rest of the staff appeared to be genuine and helpful so this was a shame!

A really nice location and stay in the Vientiane! The proximity to the night market and eateries was a definite plus. The room was well stocked with the essentials we needed and the staff were quite helpful in booking our train tickets and arranging transportation to airport. The breakfast was decent and basic - nothing too elaborate and just what we needed to get our day started.

I did book a room with no windows so I was aware going in that there'd be no ventilation. You need to keep the a.c. on at all times else the room starts smelling. We had a bit of a hiccup where our driver to the train station dropped us off at the airport instead. Thankfully we had the hotel on whatsapp and they contacted the driver and we made it to the train station in time. Please keep their Whatsapp handy!

The staff were welcoming and the check-in took less than 5 minutes. The room was clean with a spacious balcony and a nice view of the city. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had all the amenities. The breakfast was good, a good choice of simple but delicious options. The hotel is located on a lovely street with some bars and restaurants and is across the street from the river bank and the night market, within waling distance to the Presidential Palace and other sights in Vientiane. All in all a very pleasant experience.

All staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Reception is open 24/7 which is always plus when flights are light arriving. The breakfast was very tasty. There where the options of Lao food or western food. My preference was Lao food always. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the food was always topped from freshly cooked food up when amounts were low. Rooms are cleaned every second day or when requested. The hotel is just across the road from the huge nightly markets and there are many lovely restaurants a very short walking away.

Hotel is nice and comfortable, a lot of sights of Vientiant are nearby. Good breakfast in form of bufet with local food. Airco works good, however I didn't use it much. Generally, I can recommended this hotel. I spent there 3 nights

In the info provided by hotel in my room, they should clean every two days, but they didn't do it. Probably they require additionaly to place sticker on the door with request for cleaning, but it is not clear for me.
