I had a pleasant stay overall. The receptionist was nice and friendly, and the check-in process went smoothly. When I arrived, the wardrobe was broken, but it was promptly fixed by the time I returned to my room—great service! The city centre is only a few minutes away, the train station is about 10–15 minutes, and the sea is also around 10 minutes away, all within walking distance. The room was clean and equipped with a kettle and tea amenities, although there was no coffee provided, so bring your own if needed. There’s also a mini fridge, which is a nice touch. The bathroom was excellent—clean, with a great shower and good water pressure. Just note that a hair dryer is available only upon request. One downside is that the walls and doors are VERY thin—you can hear people walking in the hallway and even what your neighbors are talking about. Additionally, the hotel is near a street, so you’ll hear cars and trains passing by. I recommend bringing earplugs for a better night’s sleep. Overall, it’s a decent choice for this price if you’re prepared for some noise.

Stayed for one night in an economy room located in the same building as the reception, on the second floor. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist who showed us where to park and explained the dinner and breakfast options. The room was small but cozy and very clean. When I noticed the kettle wasn't working, it was immediately replaced, and the receptionist made sure everything else was fine. Breakfast was great – I had a mushroom omelet, which was delicious. Prices in the hotel restaurant were very reasonable. The staff was super kind and attentive, the location is excellent, and the room matched the price perfectly. It wasn’t too hot outside during our stay, but in the summer heat, the room might get quite warm – installing air conditioning could be worth considering for the hotel management.

Nice selection of breakfast and lunch/dinner in the caffee downstairs offered at pretty good prices, polite receptionist, quite comfy room, Wi-fi connection was OK, central location - 10 mins walk to train station, few mins to the main Jomas street as well as very close to the sea overall

Hot water appears from time to time when the boiler is on, so this is a quite uncomfortable as you can not take shower anytime you want

This was my second stay there and it was as perfect as the first one. The check-in was smooth. Everything was good, comfortable and enjoyable. This place will be my first choice when I am back to Jurmala.

Everything was even better than expected. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Nothing too fancy but totally met our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff is amazing , very friendly , understanding customer’s needs , flexible ! Food is amazing , much better in some central restaurants on the high street. Price is fair. Rooms are a bit old , bed wasn’t comfortable at all 😄 Great location . In general we loved it all

This was a bargain stay considering the prices for the location. Sure, it's a basic place but it fulfilled all my needs. It had a big room, a fridge, kettle and tv and big bathroom and plenty of towels. It was on the back of the house and had a balcony where I had my morning coffee. Despite it was quite warm, the room did not feel hot. There's a small cafe and shop downstairs and the beach was about 10 minute walk and 5 minute walk to the main pedestrian street. Parking was included.

Room on the top floor with no elevator might be a problem for some. More plugs in the room would be nice.

Good Value for money family room. Fridge was a bonus. Service in the cafe was very good, the food was very tasty indeed and good value too. Located a pleasant 10min walk to the beach, and quiet considering its proximity to the road.

Room was generally clean but attention to dust etc in radiator and on general items could be stronger. Clock radio was provided but it had a UK plug. Kettle provided but no coffee/tea provided. Bathroom a bit tired, but for the price it was reasonable.

This place exceeded all expectation. For the price I'd payed you could not find anything better. My room was small but renovated with all essentials. The check-in was quick. The hotel itself is small and cozy. Would definitely recommend this place. P.s. I haven't ordered breakfast, so don't have a feedback.

Everything was good for me. But you must consider that: 1. there is no elevator there and it might be a challenge to go upstares/downstares; 2. As the building is old-fashioned (in a good meaning), rooms are quite small. Please consider it if you book for two or a family. 3. This is a wooden house, thus it might get hot inside during summer. There was no air-conditioner in my room. But check forecast. Extreme temperatures are rare in Latvia :)

Typical wooden house of Jurmala. Close to the Concerthall, beach, Jomas pedestrian street. Friendly staff. There is refrigerator in the room, kettle, two caps. Beds are comfortable. There is cafe in the hotel with good prices.

Not modern, some rooms are better, some rooms needs improvement.
