Very good location in the center of the city, close to everywhere (also close to possible supermarkets, restaurants). We really liked the breakfast offer. Rooms clean, without any reservations. Very nice interior of the hotel, friendly staff.

The only thing missing was drinking water in the rooms (I'm not talking about the paid mini bar).

The hotel is located on the edge of the old town close to all local attractions. Public transport right outside the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was gorgeous, very spacious and had everything you needed. Great amount of storage in the room. Heated floor in bathroom was a great touch! Breakfast was good, a good variety from hot to cold food, staff were very prominent in replenishing items during breakfast. The lobby was comfortable and there was a place to store luggage. Hotel offers late check out which is a bonus.

Mattress was firm but this is personal preference only. Lack of tv channels in English.

Ideally situated a few minutes from the Freedom monument and Riga Old Town. Breakfast is superb with plenty of food on offer. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. The Staff are very friendly and professional. We were able to leave our cases after check out before our late flight.

The hotel bar closed at 9pm during the week and 11pm at the weekends. We were asked to leave the bar area at these times. The bath in our room 420 was quite small and narrowed at one end. The shower in room 419 is hand held, therefore we had to it in the bath to have a shower. The trams run all night, so if you have a city view this could be noisy, however ear plugs were provided.

We asked for a quiet room and we got one so we had a wonderful night sleep each night. The room was beautiful, tidy and comfortable. It had its own mini bar fridge but this was an extra fee to use the items. Our room didn't have an iron but we asked and were provided with one. We also asked for an extension cable to use our Chromecast for the TV and the staff were more than helpful and provided this also. The hotel is beautiful inside and the staff members we dealt with were really friendly. It is close to the old town and everything was within walkable distance. Close to many restaurants/bars/shopping centers. This was our first time in Riga and we would highly recommend staying here and would book here again for our next trip! It was easy to get a BOLT taxi to the airport also which only cost us €12 right from the front door. Thank you 😃

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Maybe Netflix would be a nice touch for the TV but that is personal preference.

We ended up in a spacious, quiet room facing the yard, with a large bathroom, so it was almost a pity we had booked it only for one night to sleep after going to the theatre and couldn't spend much time there. To lodge theatre-goers from elsewhere must have been one of its functions over time, since the very tasteful internal decoration featured old theatre posters in the rooms. Solid curtains helped to black out the entire room. The breakfast was truly excellent, with both a full English and various continental/vegetarian options available, and two kinds of pancakes (crepes and American style), with condensed milk and raspberry jam to put on them (not to mention honey, of course, etc). And prosecco, disguised as a basis for mimosas.

It was not really a problem, as the lady at the reception was very helpful, but initially we were given a very small room with a double bed (clearly below the booked category), although we had clearly asked for a twin room and been told that it would be available. The room was changed immediately when I mentioned this and the new room was superb.

The staff were excellent: they were polite, friendly and helpful throughout. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely. It is in a great location in the Old Town within a few minutes walk of many attractions. We were not disturbed by noise from the trams passing outside, which is an issue mentioned in some reviews, however our rooms were to the rear. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

We found the bed somewhat uncomfortable as the mattress and mattress topper were too firm for our liking. We noted that other reviews mention this. At home our matress is graded as extra-firm. We thought that a good memory foam mattress topper would remedy this.

The hotel is located right next to all the cental and interesting locations in Riga, which was very convenient for us. The rooms are big and clean and comfortable. The (buffet style) breakfast amazing, with large variety and a possibility to order your own style of eggs.

The hotel has only 2 parking spaces, and using one of them requires pre booking and at a cost of 35euro per day, I guess this is expected at a big city center, and yet it was a little be of a let down, moreover we weren't notified of the pre booking requirement and the place was taken for one day, which almost cost us a fine by the city. For most visitors this should not be an issue though, and should not detract from the (deserved) high rating of the hotel.

Excellent hotel. As others have mentioned, punching above its weight in terms of price/quality. Seems newly refurbished (excellent bathroom) but retaining some of the old charm of this historic hotel. Luxury feel (lovely linen on beds, slippers, good and varied lighting) warm and cosy (we were there in winter) and lovely smelling reception. Very easy to get to from the airport by public transport (take the 22 bus and get off at Autoost, 5 minute walk from there). There were lots of hotel options I researched (for our one night away weekend) but I am glad we chose this, no regrets. Easy to walk to the old town (5 mins), whilst not being too close to noisy bars and restaurants. Perfect. Feels thoughtfully renovated and service and staff were great before and after our stay. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast had lots of options, including “champagne”. Highly recommended.

Rooms are really good, well decorates and with good space. Of course I have to mention that we rented the suite.

The personnel were not acting professionally. We asked the receptionist about smth that was listed on their room TV and he just replied that they don't have it and that maybe this is an ad from other hotels. When I showed to them that it refers to their hotel they said oh yes you can book online, with no any interest to be more helpful. The cleaners all thing they did was to make up the beds. No cleaning and they didn't even put toilet paper in the bathroom. We had to ask for it from the reception.

The property was centrally located, within 10 minutes walking distance to the Old Town and a stones throw to Central Market and the bus which goes to the airport. The hotel was grand - eve dining area was beautiful and the rooms spacious and comfortable. Absolutely loved the bed! Staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had a wonderful selection and was served with Prosecco. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again!

The only downside was that the ‘hot’ selection at breakfast was not hot - the cabinets did not keep the food warm, so this could benefit from being improved.
