One of my best experiences in hostel. Probably also the best choice for travelers passing the Baltic states. Clean room and bed, good location, great common space, friendly and enthusiastic staff, free snacks and breakfast included (though I'm not sure there's a kitchen). I was lucky enough to join the events and the following Riga folklore dance and built friendship with many travelers. The folklore dancing restaurant was authentic and fun. After that we when to a karaoke bar drinking and dancing till midnight. If i back to Riga one day, this hostel will be my first choice for sure. Cheers

We went with my brother för two nights. We couldn't be more happy to arrive on this amazing hostel where the owner, the employers and volunteers opened the doors for os and left us check in before 15 o'clock. They showed os the instalations and recommended oss all the places to see in Riga. They gave us a map. Very cozy hostel where we met so many nice persons from all over the world. The atmosphere is fantastic and it is very easy to socialiize with averyone there. Also the activities during the evening like quez and to cook food together was a big plus for me. The breakfast is very good and generous from 08 till 12 o'clock. Coffe and te free during all day. Full equipped kitchen in wich you can cook or if you don't you can buy from Mc Donalds just at the bottom of the same building or in the near supermarket. Thanks a lot! I will definitely come back one day.

Riga has a lot to offer - especially great food, great coffee and great karaoke bars. The location of the hostel is super convenient as you can easily walk to all the interesting spots. The staff, the volunteers and the visitors were all amazing, special thanks goes to our Swedish friend who kept us entertained during our whole stay. This hostel offers great breakfast, comfortable beds and overall fantastic atmosphere.

If you are looking to do a lot of sightseeing be aware… you might not get a chance because you’ll be busy having too much fun.

Amazing hostel in a perfect location in Riga - close to old city center, new town, central market and the railway station and still calm enough to sleep peacefully. The bed was cozy, the kitchen well equipped and all facilities spotlessly clean. There is a large community room to meet other travelers and even a co-working space if you’re on workation. And not to forget the breakfast included in the price that has a great variety (even freshly baked waffles & croissants!) and is super delicious! What I liked the best were the little details and amenities provided for the guests: Free earplugs, shower gel in the shared bathrooms, coffee all day long, drinking water…, all together with a great community vibe and staff that goes above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The hostel is pretty close to the old town, the staff is extremely friendly, and overall is seemed cozy and clean. In terms of value for money, they also offer free tea and coffee and breakfast is included, so I think is the best offer you can find in Riga.

I don’t really have what to complain about but I’ll tell you that finding the entrance is a bit tricky. if you see a McDonald’s on the corner of the street that the place you want to be. Inside the McDonald’s is another stairway that leads to the hostel. It took me like 30 minutes to figure out that the entrance is threw the McDonald’s.

The ability to have breakfast with other hostel visitors. We met some nice people and had good chats with them. It was possible to socialize in the evening while playing in the lobby with other guests. It was convenient that there was a shared fridge with an ability to mark your food. The location was perfect: next to a lot of grocery stores, restaurants, to the city center, to the bus station.

The breakfast had too many unhealthy options. Besides eggs, cheese, and tomatoes, other things were sweet, which is not healthy for a breakfast because insulin levels increase significantly: muesli, waffles with jam, etc. In the evening there was a smell from cigarettes. I couldn't locate the source of this smell, I couldn't find the hotel staff to report this situation, and it was hard to get rid of that smell in our room. A long survey when checking in. Too many hotel rules, which were hard to process after a flight and using a crowded bus to get to the hotel.

Hostel was better than expected to be honest. Common area is super cool, location is amazing and near everything (including train station). There is a supermarket nearby, shops, restaurants and bars around the building. Building is super safe with code to get in. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. For solo female travellers it is recommended. The staff are so sweet and show you on the map what you can do and where to go. bedrooms and common area (with the exception of toilets/showers) are super clean.

Showers and toilets should be cleaned more often. There are not enough toilets and showers for the number of bedrooms available, so I would say they should increase the number of times they get them cleaned. The female bedroom (6 beds) is right in front of the common area, therefore it is super noisy, just bring a earplug.

When i left this hostel, it was like i left something from my ❤️ heart. Firstly this hostel CARES about the customers and people live in. They give you a towel without charging a €10 deposit! They give keys that again they don't charge for a deposit of €10. The staff is always ready to help and speak with you. The staff looks happy working there, this means the owner shall be good. This hostel is like a hotel! The room is spacious and you can easily put your stuff/luggage somewhere. They have many extra chargers outside the rooms. There is a kitchen and a saloon to sit and chat with other travelers. They provide a very satisfactory breakfast from 8 till 12 a.m. The staff is eager to prepare the breakfast and bring all the time new things. In conclusion, i HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!

They could have more toilets. But this can not be an issue not to give a big Ten for this amazing hostel.

Before the property I would like to mention about the staff. I really like the staff at the property. They were really nice, helpful and friendly. If you guys are reading this, thank you for the awesome hospitality. Rooms were nice and clean. and so were the washroom. Special mention for the breakfast served, it was way too good. Plenty of option to eat and fresh. When I reached there, I got a small session about the places I should visit, which was super nice. They let me join the hostel before time and let me keep my bag in storage after checkout also. That made life so easy there.

A little noise comes from the roads, but that was not disturbing.

The hostel is right across from the train station and only a 10-15 min walk from the old town. The staff is very friendly and helpful, when I arrived, the girl at the reception gave me a map and an overview of what's there to do in Riga. The mattresses are very thick and comfortable. The common areas are very cosy. There is free tea and coffee all day and the possibility to buy cheap drinks. The breakfast including waffles is really an amazing way to start the day and also gives the opportunity to socialize and see again people you meet in the evenings. Overall the social aspect of the hostel was the best, I made several friends and the pub crawl on Saturday night was so much fun!

When I was there, the WiFi connection was really bad. It wasn't possible to make the room even slightly dark so a night mask is required to sleep later than sunrise
