My room was renovated and clean, the entire floor was renovated. Breakfast was nice and had many options, with possibility to eat outside on the terrace, good coffee as well. Very good idea of providing free water (including sparkling water) from a water machine in the corridor.

The room was over the ventilation systems from swimming pool and therefore noisy 24h non stop, those machines were humming, making a lot of noise, if you left the window open, it was really loud. The window opens just slightly. The walls are very thin, you can hear every noise from neighbours - I had some neighbours who returned at 1.30 am and were loud ... Another issue was the system to get in/out of the spa area: if you stay at hotel and paid for spa too, I do not see why you need a bracelet, it s not a public swimming pool. To get a bracelet and to return it took some time, and you were waiting in a colder area with air co on after you get out from sauna or jacuzzi. not pleasant at all. The lady working at the spa one evening was not nice - she could be kinder to customers.

This hotel is one of the iconic symbols of the beloved resort town Jurmala, located on the main street, just a few steps away from the beach. It’s absolutely peaceful, equipped with all the necessary amenities—though not directly in the rooms—you can stay for days and no one will disturb you unless you request trash removal 🙂. The staff is efficient, the rooms are spacious, the beds are excellent, and the view from the upper floors is a delight. The breakfast is more than varied, tasty, and carefully prepared; I found it even more satisfying this year than last. The only downside is the slightly sweet pudding served as an omelette, but it’s no big deal—we can always have a real omelette at home. But the atmosphere at Jurmala Spa, the one we crave all year long, can only be found right there.

It provided us everything what you need for a weekend getaway

Spa area didn’t have complimentary water. Hallways leading to the rooms and room itself were a little bit “tired”.

The atmosphere was peaceful and safe. The breakfast was not plentiful, but it was possible for everybody to choose something tasty: ham, eggs, buns, cheese, herring, cereal, fruits, sometimes pancakes.

When checking in, the stuff member did not warn us that cleaning the room happens only ON REQUEST... As a result, we found the bin full of rubbish and no clean towels after we came back to the room on the second day:( We had to go down to the reception to ask about it, then we had to come back to put the sign on the door....and at last the room was cleaned... Besides, it would be more comfortable to have some more hooks fixed in the bathroom.

Great location, the sea is just minutes away, the hotel is literally on the main street with restaurants, bars, cafes, awesome breakfast with a huge variety of food 👌 😋 The SPA zone is amazing with saunas, jacuzzi's, warm pool, colder big pool, one more pool for the kids and etc. Great staff. 4 elevators which is great and you don't need to wait long going down or up. We had a superior type room with a long wide balcony. You can order a dinner at the hotel's restaurant for 25 EUR per person. Parking is 5 EUR a day.

The interior is a bit worn off, rooms need renovation and maybe there's a problem with air ventilation system or pipes or something else because there was a pretty strong smell on the 5th floor and it lasted for a few days. Probably it's just a temporary problem, there was no smell on the other floors to be fair.

We are staying at the hotel every year. I would have hoped to get some sort of recognition or regular guest membership system in place after so many years. For regular guests to have either free upgrade or drink voucher, or something else.

Surprisingly 4* hotel like this doesn't have tea/coffee stations in the room any more , which I think is unacceptable per European standards. Also, 2 stays in a row we had problems with the noise from next door rooms. Both times we had to be moved because we couldn't sleep. However, this time we got a free upgrade for a newly refurbished room and the floor, which was so much better. Appreciated it, but I would have expected this to be offered as a part of normal booking and not as something special.

I recently stayed at Hotel Jurmala Spa for two nights with my mate, and it was a truly memorable experience from start to finish. At just £191 for two people, it offered fantastic value for such a high-quality stay. Our ensuite room was spacious, beautifully presented, and extremely comfortable. The included breakfast exceeded expectations, with an impressive variety ranging from fresh salads, fruits, and cereals to hearty hot fry-ups — catering to every taste and appetite. While the gym, swimming pool, and sauna were temporarily closed for cleaning and refurbishment (just ahead of the main season), the hotel more than made up for it with their rooftop bar on the 11th floor. Sipping cocktails while overlooking the picturesque Dzintari area and watching the sunset was an unforgettable highlight of our trip. The hotel also offers a great selection of wellness treatments, including back and face massages, perfect for those looking to relax and recharge. All in all, Hotel Jurmala Spa is a fantastic getaway spot that combines comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury. The place is simply amazing. It has all you may need for the relaxing stay. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, pillows and blankets perfect. Good size bathrom. The cherry on top was the spa. Not only the saunas and pool, but also the programs that are offered by qualified staff. We took salt room, foot massage, back massage, lymph drainage, and all were great. The staff both on the hotel as well in the spa were very kind and hospitable, we felt very welcome. We left the hotel rejuvenated.

Only the shortness of our stay -i wish i had an extra day or two

the breakfast was very delicious The view from the window and the balcony are a great bonus.

As an aesthete, I would like to see a cosmetic repair in the bathroom. The shower has great water pressure, but the shower head can't handle it. And all the water is pouring out of the shower. There are no light fixtures in the shower itself, but the toilet has light elements that light up slowly 😅 The women's toilet next to the dining room has a missing strainer on the sink faucet, which results in the good water pressure being visible on the clothes 😂

💕Everything! Jurmala is the land of my youth. That's my loving background for appreciation. If in detail, then the room is spacious, clean and comfortable with wardrpbes, cabinets, shelves for clothes and things. Cosy slippers and bathrobes were just the thing. A lot of place in the bathroom 👍 The breakfast was plentiful and delicious 😋 And, an icing on the cake, the swimming pool with the sauna was very appealing and necessary for relaxation. My thankfulness 🤗

The heating system wasn't functioning. This was probably due to the transition of the central heating mode from summer to winter.
