Everything was great. I liked the hotel, the room was very clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable. Very good location.

We had to wait 30 minutes because the room was not ready yet. I was very surprised that I had to pay 8€ per night for parking. Because there you can park your car next door for free. Unfortunately, it was not written anywhere that the hotel's parking lot is paid.Because the hotel is not cheap and it should have been included when buying the room.😏

Beautiful new hotel with excellent location close to the sea. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for active and passive relaxation. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. But what I would like to appreciate above all is the really very friendly and helpful staff. Even though my stay was short, I literally felt at home there and will be happy to return again.

Very good breakfast, nice terrace on 3rd floor, friendly staff. Excellent location - between beach and main street, still very quiet. Must be great here in the summer :)

When we arrived, the toilet had some tea leftovers/ dust unflushed - that was not pleasant, then we discovered some big bunch of dark hair on the bedroom carpet ( I am blonde) - that was gross. The view from our room (208) was partly on the trash container area and ~6 in the morning there was loud noise from trash truck that emptied the container - the hotel seemed not busy at all, so I was unpleasantly surprised, that we were given such room... there were definitely nicer rooms available of the same category.. Also there is no restaurant, eating area opens only for breakfast, and in the evening the place looks abandoned and still.

This is a great hotel with great staff. Julie welcomed us with a nice smile .Shr was very friendly and accommodating.Julie even offered hot water for our baby to make milk for him. They have the greatest breakfast!I have been to many hotels, and just before coming to Jurmala ,we stayed two other hotels, but Rixwell's breakfast was to another level,very unique and delicious. Julie and Martha tried everything to make our stay comfortable. I also noticed the owner sitting quietly during breakfast and monitoring whether guests were comfortable, which was quite nice.

This is a 4 start hotel but I was told ,since I didn't book a deluxe room ,there won't be any slippers provided.It's not a big deal,however since all the 4 stars hotels I stayed always provided slippers and robs ,we didn't pack any with us only to know that they don't do it.May be you guys can consider it for future guests?

Clean , good facilities and location (close to Main Street/restaurants and beach. Good breakfast , late check out options , beach towels

Downside - If you don’t put a hanger outside your door- they won’t clean your room (we forgot , so our room wasn’t cleaned and we had to ask for towels at the reception when we realized room is not cleaned ). And heating was on in the bathroom- unbelievably hot, but I guess they leave it on in Eastern European countries to have their towels dry or something. Luckily they have air conditioning in the room, because you can’t leave window open- lots of Mosquitos and a few drunken people outside wake you up at night. Staff were friendly

Staff are all lovely, very helpful and very welcoming. Room is clean and comfortable. Hotel is close to everything. Breakfast is very good, great choice and very tasty. Car parking, which does cost 8euro/night

Disappointed that the only English speaking TV channel was Euronews. TV is not a smart tv so no access to Netflix etc , which is nice when it’s pouring with rain and you’re tired and want to relax watching a film. No complimentary water in the room, so bring your own . There is a mini bar but a small bottle of water is €2.50. We didn’t use it.

Excellent location in the heart of Jūrmala! Only 100 meters away from restaurants, supermarkets etc. Endless beach nearby. The hotel is surrounded with lovely houses. Nice neighbourhood for the unbusy walking trips. Room was spacious. Breakfast was superb.

We had a room with connecting door. The door was locked but we heard every word what our neighbours said. Every sound came through that door. And our shower was disappointment. Water stayed on the floor after taking shower. It was a bit disgusting.

Excellent location. Walking distance to the sea (about 300-400m), just 100 m to the main street Jomas iela and 10 min walk to Majori station. Quiet area, no noise from the street. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with the option to make fresh orange juice. There is a terrace with loungers and chairs. Parking is available near the hotel, but it’s paid. We will definitely come back when we visit Jūrmala again.

The hotel is perfectly located right in the city center and just a short walk from the sea. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Our room was clean and had a beautiful view of the pine trees. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety to suit every taste. A big highlight was the rooftop terrace with comfy sun loungers and umbrellas — perfect for sunbathing when it’s too windy at the beach.
