Rooms were nice, comfortable, and larger than in similar-level hotels. There was a small parking place near the hotel for a moderate price. The location was excellent, in the center of downtown, near the main churches, museums, restaurants, and opera theater.

The place was quite calm during the daytime, but very noisy in the middle of the night due to the pair of bars located along the street near the hotel. The hotel had even provided pairs of earplugs in advance to mitigate this nuisance, but it helped only slightly.

Hotel had excellent location right in the heart of old town of Riga - easy to walk to places. Bathroom was clean and modern. Breakfast had good selection of local and international food items and drinks. Good service hours.

We stayed during low season, so hotel and area was very quiet, which we liked. However during high season nearby pubs and bars can cause noise and disturbance. Room itself was very basic, nothing fancy or special highlights. Bed was quite hard. No safety deposit box in room. Minibar empty/not stocked. Room cleaning only upon request (we stayed 4 nights). Carpet a bit stained. No major issues to complain about, but in my opinion the room and hotel with its services does not quite reach the 4* rating, more like 3* except for location.

Basically a very good hotel; nice room; excellent location in the old town; great breakfast; friendly and helpful staff; perfect housekeeping - everything spotlessly clean and flexible housekeeping staff

The hotel cannot help it, but is located right in the touristy part of town and there is a lot of noise emanating from unruly and inebriated tourists in the street, particularly during the weekend. Also, it would seem to me that the parking fee of € 20 per day charged by the hotel is way too much for what it actually is - an unguarded open space

Agnes on reception was excellent. She managed to get a restaurant booking for my birthday when everywhere was full. Also the other lady was excellent we didn't get her name.

We had a banging noise that woke us up in room 608. Reception said it was some works happening at the school next door. Male reception staff no where near as good as the female staff. Quite abrupt when dealing with them. There is a bar called Arcadia that opens until 10.00 am on Friday and Saturday and there is unsavoury characters hanging around drunk. So glad we didn't have a room on the front.

The location is convenient as it's within walking distance of the main attractions. The room and bathroom are clean, modern and spacious with plenty of space to store my belongings. I loved the variety of food options available at breakfast time too.

A lot of the tables at breakfast time were designed to accommodate 4 people, although I noticed the majority of the travellers were solo or couples. As a solo traveller myself I felt a bit limited as to where I was able to sit. So one suggestion I would make is to increase the number of tables with max 2 seats.

Spacious room, nice and clean accommodations! The place has lots of personality.

The street is very crowded with drunk people during weekends, we didn’t mind the noise that much but the foreigners were very rude and drunk. It would have been nice to know that the room was one additional flight by stairs, should you have restricted mobility. Also, I asked if they could accommodate vegan breakfast before traveling, they said “sure” and then the breakfast had NO vegan options in any of the 3 days we had breakfast there (besides regular vegetables/fruits).

This was a very clean and modern hotel. Good bathroom. Good breakfast. Location is great.. walk in minutes to the bus station and train station. Sits on edge of the old city so good for the sights snd for bars snd restaurants.

Location is also bad because there is nightckub directly opposite and on the first night that place was going off until after3am. And it was a tuesday night!!😳 but then the next night that club was closed and it was quiet. I feel sorry for the hotel having to put up with the bar/club owner who clearly could not care less about the trail of noise pollution.

Central location, good service, buffet breakfast and the staff let us use the breakfast before checking in, as we won’t be able to use it on check out date when we had to leave at 5am (hotel has offered to prepare packed breakfast which was nice), beds are comfortable. We had a quadruple room on the 4th floor, it’s spacious with sofa sitting area and a good size working desk. Windows are well insulated, aircon worked well.

There are a few bars nearby that opens all night (close at 6am!) which can be noisy, however, the hotel has double glazing windows and then another set of windows about a foot further in from the double glaze windows, when both are closed it’s pretty well insulated. They provide ear plugs as well, we slept well without having to use them but if you’re sensitive to noise then ask for a courtyard facing room.

Comfy room with good size bathroom. In the old town so you can walk to some major attractions or get a nearby tram or bus to other attractions. It’s also 4 minutes walking to a shopping center with beautiful and nice food court. Breakfast is included. We weren’t bothered by the noise at all. Our room was located toward the back of the hotels. Walk in shower with space to add toiletries and a nice pressure shower head. Very good.

Room was a bit small, but we were ok since it was only 2 nights and it’s enough. For breakfast, they had 2 milk alternatives (almond and soya), both of them were either off (acidic and/or lumpy) or simply that brand it’s not good enough. We did asked for another milk, which they gave us and it seemed already opened. Again it tasted off (very acid and weird). Please change the brand of milk alternatives or at least try it before putting it out as it was such a disappointment having to drink something that was clearly not ok and off. They don’t clean the rooms during your stay unless requested.
