Room was really nice with such a beautiful view to river Daugava., SPA was nice as well, and I did like that I could purchase high-quality Latvian products at the SPA .

Food , I expected Latvian style of breakfast - variety of salads, for example, but I was disappointed to have a typical " English Breakfast " hasbrowns ,eggs & sausages... like every other hotel abroad. Nothing special, and I feel like we latvians have such nice food to offer , we don't eat hasbrowns for breakfast 🙄. Why not to offer something more of our traditional food - our brown bread , our "cold" beetroot soup for example , so the guests can have memorable experience? Well, that's just my Latvian opinion ,maybe this is just how it is more cost effective for the hotel 🤷‍♀️

We got a free room upgrade with waterfront view. Great panoramic view. The room was very nice and spacious, although very warm without air conditioning. The rooms and furniture are modern. Very nice spa area with pool, hot tub, and saunas, we got one entrance slot for free around noon, which was very nice. The breakfast was great, broad variety and choice of food and drinks. The location of the hotel is great, with bus stops close to the hotel (also airport busses) and Riga old town starting right behind the hotel. The main train station is around 15-20 minutes walk away, providing railway services to all around Latvia, including Jurmala beach or Kemeri, for example. Staff was very friendly. We had a free airport transfer included, very friendly driver. Picked us up directly at the airport and brought us to the hotel.

The breakfast room was a bit crowded and very busy. At first, we thought the air conditioning isn't working and we made a claim at the reception. It turned out that there seems to be a problem with the room thermostate, we had to set the target temperature to 14 degrees to get "normal" cool air at around 22 degrees.

Great location. Rooms were large and clean. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices and the hotel seem to cater well for people with food intolerances Food in the bar area was very good and the area was bright, clean and relaxing.

Reception was constantly busy so you had to wait a long time if you wanted any advice or had any queries. Unfortunately the phone in our room was not working, and was not fixed during our stay, so the only option was to go down to reception. The queues were often long throughout the day. Staff were helpful once you were able to speak to them. Extra charge for use of the Spa. Spa was very busy with children 'swimming' in the jacuzzi. The staff were informed but their response was that 'children are allowed in the Spa until x pm'. I felt this was very poor and they should have informed parents that 'swimming' was allowed in the pool only so that paying guests enjoyed a 'Spa' experience!

It was a perfect location, we had a really nice big room

I didn’t like spa availability for just 1,5 h per day with request to book a time in advance. Quite difficult with our spontaneous plans. We booked this hotel mostly for spa reason.

The hotel is next to amazing river. To walk to the center of the city, you need only about 5 minutes. The access to the spa you need to pay extra if it is not includeed in your room rate and spa need to be reserved forehead. The bed is comfort and room is clean. You have iron, toilet accesories (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion), kettle, hairdryer, sleepers,.. all provided in the room. At the reception is a vending machine and coffee machine that can be used all the time. Rooms are clean and quiet. Staff is nice and helpful. To come from the airport just take the bus 22 infront of the arrival at the airport, the ticket you but at the machine for only 1,5€. The bus stops just infront of the hotel. Just before the arrival you will also recieve an email with all important information for hotel. The hotel is in green key and for cleaning the room you need to put sign on your door each morning. I would recomend to visit.

The location was perfect - very close to the old town and within walking distance to most attractions. Breakfast was good and the facilities were ok.

The whole check-in process wasn’t good. I’ve requested an earlier check-in and the hotel responded that it was subject to availability. When we arrived, this request couldn’t be accommodated but it was ok. I figured we’d just come back during the regular check-in time. Upon coming back, the room still wasn’t ready. They told us to wait 10-15 mins while they prepare the room and we willingly obliged as 15 mins isn’t such a big deal. But 30 mins went by and still no word about the room availability. I went back to the front desk and another agent arranged it. Considering that we were there at the actual check-in time, the hotel staff should’ve made sure that they kept their end of the deal especially when a prior request have already been made.

The hotel is right in Old Town. You can walk around the area without issues. The old market place is not that far, train and bus station around 5min walk. Love the hotel. SPA was great. I booked slots in advance.

The only problem was related probably more to booking.com, then the hotel. When I booked Hotel was offered free transfer fro airport. But apparently, that's nothing to do with the hotel. So I ended up paying for transfer €33 (after 22PM extra charges), I I knew I would just use Bolt (€18)

I thought the hotel would be good, possibly very good. But it wasn't only efficiently run and maintained - it actually feels like the staff are happy to work there. It was the cheerfulness and humour from the mostly young staff that made the difference. On top of that, the spa was even better than the photos suggested - usually one expects to find a swimming pool the size of a puddle, or a sauna that would fit in a phone box, but in this case the pictures fit reality. And something which is nearly always a catastrophe - a buffet breakfast - was something I genuinely looked forward to.

I think the mattress and pillows were more exhausted than I was.

The location of this hotel is perfect - really close to the main sites And bonus is that it is also a very short walk from the bus stop for the 22 that takes you to / from the airport Special mention to Luce on Reception - we mentioned we were visiting for our anniversary at check in She asked what our plans were for the day and kindly offered to give us complimentary access to the spa Unfortunately we had not brought any swimming outfits etc, but after heading up to our room, there was a knock 10 minutes later and a member of staff had brought up a bottle of fizz to help us celebrate Lovely touch and much appreciated!

The bathroom was a bit tired in places, but clean

We had a great stay, location is perfect as everything is within walking distance and some great restaurants just around the corner. Definitely book into the spa during your stay as it’s perfect at the end of a cold day to relax in the sauna and pool. We used the Bolt app for a taxi from Riga airport to the hotel and it was £12

Only thing I would say that could do with improving is the room cleaning, towels were changed regardless and robes taken and not replaced and the glasses in the room were not changed all week.
