Breakfast was good with warm dishes both local and international, an eggs station, a fruit and cold meats and cheeses. Very good. The meals for dinner are also varied and provide to all tastes. The Tataki of Zebu is fantastic.

Tartare of Octopus and Pink Salmon dissappointed me. The Octopus was good but the salmon was nowhere to be. The service was good and complemented the dish with an extra portion of Salmon, but this should have been in the dish in the first place. Everything else in the Menu that I tried was excellent this was the only dissappointment and hopefully a one-time occurance.

I had a very good stay at Ibis Antananarivo Ankorondrano. The hotel is modern, clean, and well organized, with all the essential comforts for a business or leisure trip. My room was quiet and comfortable, with a great bed and reliable Wi-Fi. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. I also appreciated the restaurant — the food was fresh and tasty, and breakfast had a nice variety.

I like the view from the superior room on 6th floor and the room was peaceful allowing me to work througout the stay as we were on a tight schedule

The sitting chair in the room for working on the laptop were very uncomfortable. On a business tour, you need to work continuously and so confortable chair in the room would have made me to rate IBIS stay at perfect 10!

As a Female Solo traveller I felt safe here , the staff were all extremely polite and helpful with booking me drivers for outings ( lemurs park ) and helping book my bus for the next day by continuously ringing them for me when the website wouldn’t let me book. Strong WiFi around pool, lobby and room . Hot water. Tv channels but in French . They advised me on what was safe and not .

I chose this hotel as the breakfast was included in the rate. Breakfast was excellent. Very friendly staff. Room and facilities very clean. Very comfortable bed, no technical issues what-so-ever. Great swimming-pool and garden. The bonus was the adjacent Spa, also run by IBIS, with a well-equipped Gym, Sauna, and Hammam. Free-of-charge for Hotel guests.

The safe was too small for a MacBook / Laptop.

Breakfats was super with all choices of food and drinks, staff were also very friendly and professional, offering choices needed when requested.

Nothings to mention about

Clean comfortable cool rooms. Refreshing swimming pool.

No printed menus for restaurant. Only 1 ipad for 30+ tables. Ended up with only 1 main course when 2 ordered. Printed menu would be much clearer for communication with waiters.

Food in general was very tasty, and menu items good value for money (including some delicious Malagasy dishes) though breakfast was a substantial extra cost (check your room rate to see if breakfast is included or not). Staff were super friendly and I felt very at home, helping to call taxis and book restaurants! Convenient location on the outskirts of the city, with comfortable, extremely clean rooms (I got to try two different rooms as I checked out to go for some field work then came back and asked for a different room just to spice things up). Oh and the showers are hot and powerful, always a bonus!

Breakfast was a little expensive, but very good quality nonetheless.

The availability of a gym and the spa

I was unfamiliar with the area but there are taxis available. Not understanding French is a hindrance and them understanding or speaking English is not great.
