Excellent value for money. For about RM 250 per room night including breakfast, this is the best place to stay in Cherating. Located right next to the beach with an access from the property. The rooms are beautiful with a living room + bedroom + attached bathroom.

The rate you get through booking.com is higher than what you get if you book directly with the property. So, I would advise that you book directly with the property. Secondly, the breakfast is quite basic and the rate of replenishment is quite slow

The room is spacious, clean and tidy. It has separate living room. Toilet has separator from shower room, convenient to use both at the same time. There is also a balcony with two chairs and table to relax outside in front of the room. There is electric kettle, tea,coffee sachets and iron in the room. Very bright ceiling lights with two extra table lamp. Floor is wood. Beach access is nearby just outside its premise about 100m almost like a private beach. There is cafe but did not get the opportunity since it was the fasting month.

You can hear people talking next door. Parking is limited at the chalet but can park at its next door premise under same company. Air-conditioning took some time to cool down the room. There is no swimming pool at the chalet itself. No scenery outside your window or in front the unit. Need to climb stairs if you're on the upper level.

Perfect for family gateway, the location is close to the beach, very spacious room, excellent staff and a decent breakfast. Have plenty of choice, not a 5 stars variety but it still okay. My kids enjoyed the long sandy white beach with clear water. Food stalls, mini markets & souvenirs are within walking distance.

The parking is limited on site. No swimming pool for the chalet, however the guests may go to the swimming pool on the villa.

Arrived a bit early but staff were really friendly and actually gave us a little choice over our room. Rooms are lovely with separate bedroom / seating area and slightly odd separate but adjoining toilet and shower area. Nice balcony overlooking the grounds/beach. Very good wifi especially considering we were quite far from amin reception building. Some good options for breakfast including a very good egg chef. It's right on the beach and easy walk to beach cafes either along the beach or the road. Would come back and stay here again.

i love the breakfast, as it was really good, the access to the beach is nice but the beaches were filled with flies though its not the hotels fault. however the facilities or the room can still be better, the walls and the water heater is moldy, however still acceptable.. since perhaps it's near the beach.. the other room that we took ,the water heater didn't function well and not hot enough. however the family are still happy due to the beach that is right infront.

I thought I only have normal room as other guest. Upon my arrival, the hostel receptionist said I got special room for two- Blue Ocean Chalet since the amount I paid is similar to the special room price. I am very pleased with the decoration (sea life mural) and facilities (living room with small sofa, other room separate for bedroom, small refrigerator, carpet upon entry into chalet, lamp having floating octopus). There is another special room-Galaxy Chalet beside the Blue Ocean Chalet which I think is also nice as the Blue Ocean Chalet.

There is one water tap that is not repaired. And the water inside the sink cannot flow, causing water used float inside the sink. It is stink. There is animal puzzle inside the chalet for children to play. But some of puzzle has been missing, perhaps hotel should consider other toys to put. One of lamp having floating octopus is damaged.

Near beach. Room was ok, smaller than expected but bathroom shower and toilet separated into 2 space. Got a cosy living room and patio outside. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast selection was just nice, neither a lot nor less.

Our stay would've been perfect if it wasn't for misunderstanding with the staffs. After checking out and we're on the road, received a message/call regarding charge for dirty towels. Had to explain that we left the place in good condition and asked the staff to re-investigate the actual culprit. True enough, it wasn't us but another guest staying in the hotel.

the beds are comfy, the hospitality from the staff is astonishing - very good in communicating between their own team and with guests. the location to the beach is delightful

there were too many mosquitoes in our room, not sure where it’s coming from despite we’ve closed all windows and doors - would suggest to provide guests with mosquito spray

Loves the quite and chill vibes during the days (stayed on weekdays). The beach is nice, calm and will repeat here again soon! And must try the spa located within the royal chulan cherating villa, the ambiance with private beach is to die for! Perfect place to get a massage with the sound of nature

Not that i didnt like, but probably the breakfast selection maybe can include more variety and different each day.
