The hotel has a very beautiful garden which itself was worth the stay. We had a little Kampung-style wooden chalet overlooking a lake for our family of four and we spent a lot of time watching water monitors, fish, birds, water lillies and monkeys by the lake.The beach is walking distance (not super special but nice) and the firefly activity center conveniently across the road. At night monkeys roam around the garden, play and eat mangos.

The bedsheets were torn and I think for such a nice place that obviously puts a lot of effort into the gardens there is no need to save on a new pair of sheets. The bed was clean and comfy though. The bathroom a bit faded but alright.

The close proximity to the beach. The room is perfect for budget accommodation. I liked the room facing the garden as it gave some privacy.

I know it’s budget but it would be great if you could include a kettle for coffee. Other than that, it was great.

We love the nature of our surrounding place. We took the challet and family villa for my 4 children which was just opposite n few steps from our challet. Short walking distance to the beach and many restaurants n cafes nearby. Staffs were super friendly even the garderners too. They have a small library too. Iron is upon request. Wish we could stay longer and would surely to return.

The place is calm and clean. I read reviews that say the place is full of rubbish but I saw NONE. They have cute cats around. The staff were nice and polite. I don't know why people expect the staff to be chatty. For me, I had no trouble communicating with them and most of the time, I just ask Google. No mosquitos inside the room to my surprise since it's surrounded by trees. Well, to those who complained about mosquitos, you're better off taking your vacation in the CITY only. I ENCOURAGE everyone to come here.

Everything is good and likes it. Overall stay here is worth it even 1 night. Friendly owner, location just near to beach walkaway 150mtr from our room.

monkey & stair that connect to beach already collapsed. Appreciate if the resort got budget to reconstruct the stair. Tv channel is basic, so better bring your android box

A beautiful garden, lovely hornbill in garden. Friendly helpful staff. We loved the wood carved beds and wooden window shutters. Further to this the traditional carved wood beds were cool as was the natural stone slate in the bathroom and entry.

Loved the staff, so helpful and friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Peaceful relaxing location. Lots of birds, monkeys around.

Chalet was slightly dated, but spacious and good facilities.

The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is central and calm so perfect! Would absolutely come back sometime.

The resort was well maintained. We were woken up by monkeys who were picking fruit from a tree next to the house. :)

The beach next to the resort was not very nice.
