I love the room facing the sea and we can hear the waves. Buffet breakfast spread was good. Dinner at the Ocean restaurant was tasty. From our room , the beach was just steps away. The spa gave quite a good massage.

This resort is not wheelchair friendly , a lot of stairs and steep hill to walk-about. There is no gymnasium. So just walk or run along the beach for exercise. We have to call for buggy all the time, to move around the resort.

I recently stayed at Royale Chulan Cherating Villa over the weekend, and it was truly one of my best stays to date. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our villa was just a few steps away from the beach, which was clean and beautiful. The room itself was superb, offering all the comforts we needed for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable beach vacation.

While my stay at Royale Chulan Cherating Villa was overall wonderful, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The breakfast cafe, although offering a good selection of food, is too small to comfortably accommodate all guests during peak times. Additionally, the swimming pool opens at 9am, which is a bit late for early risers. It would be great if the pool hours could start earlier, around 7:30am or 8:00am, to better suit guests' schedules.

Our room was located a walking distance to the beach and the restaurant. Of course it was quiet as it was off peak time despite being practically to the pools. The staff are friendly and so helpful. So comfortable and it is more than home away from home.

The morning buffet is much to be desired as some of the food was not properly cooked. We had dinner for 2 nights as we were too lazy to go out, it was quite decent. Also the hotel needs to change the music in the restaurant to something more soothing instead of patriotic songs again and again. Maybe cos it was just after merdeka. Not something you want to listen to during morning breakfast. However, I would still make it another stay despite these small shortcomings. Very comfortable.

I have no complaints about this hotel – everything was absolutely amazing and unforgettable. The friendly staff treated us exceptionally well, making us feel truly welcome. The food served during both the dinner buffet and breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that tasted like they were made with genuine care. And the view from my room? Wow! I was speechless the moment I walked in. It felt like a dream come true, almost like a déjà vu of something I had once imagined. Overall, an incredible experience that exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel!

The location. The superb and very friendly staff, they are so attentive. I just love the place. Serene and peaceful.

No gym. Not much beach activities given. The room in the overall needs to be refurbished. The fridge is not functioning well. There are a few leaks here and there, but they quickly at least try to resolve it. Some resolved. The sofas need to be cleaned as we saw stains on it. There are no office needs on the desk (paper & pen not provided) The breakfast needs an upgrade, esp the egg counter. I am a frequent visitor, so i seriously feel that the breakfast needs improvements.

breakfast just like normal hotel style but they allowed us for taking our breakfast at 10.30am due to miscommunication with reception for the breakfast timing. Paid RM45 per pax for BBQ dinner but not much choice. only one choice of chicken wing, fish and beef with bbq but not all guests can eat beef. Suggest to have more choice on chicken or others seafood instead of beef. Could found the beef quantity quite a lot left in the tray. So not much people took it or the beef portion is too much.

some part of room facilities looked old and not well maintained, eg. tailet bowl looked black and also the door handle broken but not repaired until we called the reception. Then the staffs, who came and repair the door handle, did not wear the mask and coughing! This is really not a good hotel practice. Also, did not clean the area after repair. Left the screw and dirt on floor.

serene beachfront and privacy are the main attractions here. The staff is friendly, the buggies are efficient, and the rooms are cosy.

It was raining during our stay, ants (not bity ones) crept into our room for shelter i guess, expected considering the close proximity to nature, easily rid of them with a provided bug spray, not a big problem just thought people should know. And the location is a bit hilly but no problem with the efficient buggy service

So many activity to do here including jungle trail, spa, swimming pool. The scenery also beautiful especially at the spa surrounding. We manage to capture beautiful nature scenery during our stay. The staff also very helpful and friendly. Even the spa staff is very friendly

I stay at ocean suites so there isn't any issues. But for my parent and my sisters, they staying at the one bedroom villa, and unfortunately the villa have mouses. They can't leave food unattended, suddenly the mouse came and bite the food making it uncomfortable for them.

The Villa was comfortable and spacious. Great view, luxurious and great value for money. The service of all that came in contact with us ie security, receptionist, van / buggy drivers, The Ocean ( cafe ) staffs, room service, cleaners were impeccable. Friendly, approachable, provide good information and always smiling. 5 star rating for the hotel and it’s customer service

They don’t have a gym. The SPA was not conveniently located. And having to take 40 steps down was not convenient

Love RCCV so much! The room was spacious and so comfortable. The bath tub was the best as there was a jacuzzi set in the bathtub. My husband really loves it, so relaxing! The view was superb, facing the beach and green scenery. Except there was an incident outside our balcony,got 2 monkeys suddenly came when we were having lunch. Luckily the monkeys did not attacked my baby and grab our lunch meal(chicken) away. The breakfast not so variety but still okay. Love the pastry (croissant),so fluffy! You can request for juice or any beverages at the kitchen bar.
