Receptionist need improvement she gave the room key without elevator guide and she didn’t mention breakfast details. She started with smile but end it poor

I always choose Westin when im in KL. Service staffs are top notch and professional. The building outlook may look slightly old and dated but the inside remains beautiful. I was attended by Atia yesterday when i rched quite late. She was so welcoming and made me feel right at home. She upgraded my room to a suite, it was such a nice surprise. The kids were so happy and didnt want to leave the room the entire stay. Even room service food was delicious, the staffs were very nice to accommodate to my additional.requests. Another thing i love about Westin, which I was gg to gatekeep but tot id share so everybody can try for their own...is their bath and body care range. It is seriously the best. Their shampoo and conditioner is to die for...they also provide a complimentary lavender roll on for your to have a good night rest among other things. This lavender roll on is a life saver really. So next time if you are contemplating on where to stay, try Westin..you will not regret it really.

Hopinggg they will touch up the exterior of the building and maybe lobby as well?

Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur Room Number 2417 28 to 30 March 2025 RE : COMPLAINT - COFFEE HOUSE I had breakfast in your Coffee House on Sunday, 30 March 2025. At the food serving table, one of the dishes (near the Nasi Lemak) had a food place card stating "Ayam Redang" and I took some. After chewing it for a while, I found that the texture and taste of the so called "Ayam Redang" was totally different. I spat it out and realised the meat was beef. I am a Buddhist and I can’t eat beef. I immediately informed your staff about it to quickly change the food place card. Your Coffee House staff should be more careful and attentive when placing any food place card. Someone at a higher level should go around and check the place cards because of dietary and religious sensitivities. I think it is quite a serious issue especially when Muslims cannot eat pork and some Buddhists or Hindus don’t eat beef. Hope this can be looked into. Friendliness of staff at lobby and at breakfast. Also the bar lunches and drinks at the bar area was excellent. There was a young man waiter that just started a month ago which was so humble and kind - great employee!

Lady at breakfast on my last day after having breakfast every day said that I am not on the list and can not have breakfast. After a while and me wanting to go to reception to verify this she acknowledged that she made an error. It was embarrassing for me. Also the fridge in room not stocked which is disappointing.

The room is spacious and I love the sofa. The bed is comfortable,aircon room temperature is fine. Room service is quick to respond when asked for water and when ordering food. Fast check in and out you don't have to wait long. The gym is well equipped and in good condition. Near malls and walking distance.

The glass shelf where the cups were put for drink needs to be wiped often because it is quite dusty and you can see the dust clearly. The room needs to be renovated because it is outdated and can change the carpet because its look old. Room furnishings need to be upgraded. The complimentary coffee and tea can be better.

Pool attendant Rahmad provided excellent service & the same with Reception staff. Staff who checked us in was very professional. Doormen were very pleasant & informative as well. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

Nothing except we were woken up at 11.30pm advising us the room service we ordered was at the door. Thing is, we didn't order room service. There must have been a mix up somewhere down the line, but all is good. Mistakes happen. Can't complain, we had a great time.

We have stayed at this property before and love the location, staff and phenomenal breakfast. As we arrived early the staff accommodated our early checkin for 4 rooms at 0800 hrs. The buffet breakfast is one of the best we had and the staff (special mention of Shima) were so friendly and attentive. The Concierge was amazing and even helped when my son couldn't pay cash for a cab and put it on my account. We had a late checkout 1400 hrs. I cannot say enough about the quality of service offered at this property it is absolutely of the highest standard. The beds are super comfy with a pillow menu and great room service. For tired travellers, the curtains block all light coming in so you can have a decent rest. I had booked a van from airport to hotel via Booking.com which was a bit grubby and smelly with diesel fumes. For the return I booked transport via the hotel and the van and driver were spot on and well priced at about $100 AUD for a big van to accomodate 8 pax and 13 pieces of luggage. There may be a huge range of accommodation in KL but I give Westin KL my highest recommendation, you won't be sorry if you book it. Super comfy, super location, amazing staff and the best breakfast in KL.

Not a single complaint about this fabulous hotel

The check-in gentleman: mr iqmal, very nice and offered us upgrade due to celebratory nature of our stay. The buffet for breakfast is sufficient. The crew is polite and all smiley. The location is great. About 100m to pavillion mall, starhill gallery 50m, farenheit 100m. Bukit Bintang Mrt is 100m away from Hotel. Jogoya Japanese Buffet is 50m away Luk Yu Tea House is 50m away The dondonki wagyu sticks 100m away Fancy for isetan wagyu grill 100m away The chon mon beef pastry is 400m down the road TRX- latest shopping happenings, 450m away. Walk towards the rear of starhill gallery before farenheiit Busy place but not as busy as its the start of the road.

Minor- toilet wear and tear i think its normal. 2003-2023? 20years old? The wall paper is slightly peeling.

staff were courteous and helpful. room size was great. location was awesome as it was accessible to all the malls with plenty of food choices within the vicinity.

A little noisy as it is a high traffic area and was perpetually congested most part of the day/night. Mattress was soft (gives little support) and we think it is time to change new ones. Room was dusty (body was itchy and had a blocked nose throughout our stay).

The corridors and room were all clean and well kept. The buffet breakfast was very good. Not extravagant, but very good. The local food was well represented and the quality was good.

The swimming pool was not conducive as there were some repairs happening near the exterior of the nearby gym. There was some hydrocarbon smell around the area. It was either some paint smell or perhaps exhaust coming from a deisel generator nearby. This may be a one off issue. The staff at the pool side were friendly and polite, a definite trait of Westin standards.
