We had a highly enjoyable stay at AVI Pangkor beach resort. The property’s location is excellent, offering convenient access to nearby attractions and beach. I have to mention the exceptional service provided by the staff—their professionalism and warmth greatly enhanced our visit. Breakfast was well-prepared and good, also had different local and English options. They also have good snack varieties for tea time. Overall, AVI Hotel delivered a comfortable and welcoming experience. We look forward to returning.

There are a few opportunities for further improvement. Offering a welcome drink upon arrival would be a thoughtful touch that enhances guests’ first impressions. Additionally, providing bathrobes in the rooms would add an extra layer of comfort and convenience. Lastly, incorporating small activities or interactive games within the property—especially for those spending the day indoors—could foster engagement and create memorable moments for visitors.

Breakfast option is great. Walking distance to the beach (just need to cross the road) and safe even for night walk at the beach. The room is larger the average which made it comfortable.

Not an issue, but more of suggestions actually. If possible, please move the smoking area slightly further from the hotel building instead.

The location is great because it's right next to the beach. The pool is small but not too crowded so it's great. The room is quite spacious and clean, with a small balcony overlooking the sea. The breakfast staff are friendly There are no other hotels of this quality on the island

Holiday camps with lots of teenagers arrived in the accommodation on Friday. They made a lot of noise, very late in the swimming pool and in the corridor outside our room. They also set off the fire alarm at over midnight. The staff didn't necessarily react, or we didn't know about it. As we were looking for peace and quiet, it's a real shame. Fortunately they didn't stay long. Everything was fine after that

Lovely small hotel, we had the pool to ourselves most days. The room is clean and functional. All other areas are very clean. Staff are helpful most of the time. (Breakfast staff let you down).

Breakfast.... Same repetitive foods...do not cater for the English, but l do not think many of us visit, so understandable. I asked for bottled water several mornings, as l drink neither tea or coffee, and l given tap water in a mug!

We arrived before check in time and had lunch at the hotel's cafe, overall our food were delicious and the breakfast spread was also satisfying. The location of the hotel is great, as its not too far from town and there were food stalls right opposite the hotel. we really enjoyed our time at the hotel and will definitely stay there again in the future.

Love the location and the building of the hotel itself. Very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good. Have been here twice and will definitely be back here again! Btw, Mr Evan was so nice and very helpful. And there is one malay girl at the reception, i forgot her name.. Ms Anisha or sthg.. She was also very friendly and very helpful.

There were 2 families who held their family day in the hotel compound. The first family did a Zumba thing at 7 am with really loud music and it disturbed my sleep! Then the second family did their games around 10 ish and they were really loud! It would be great if these activities were held outside the hotel compound (like at the beach opposite the hotel!) as the hotel compound is really small. With the echos and all, it really disturbed the other hotel guests. Especially when they started their activity as early as 7am where most of the guests are still sleeping! I hope that the hotel management could do something abt this. Like, dont allow them to set their music really loud as early as 7 am! The rest of the guests came there to relax. Not to be awaken by loud music at 7am!
