Although it is not walking distance to the beach. But the condition of the stay is fair and tidy. I like their garden bench and umbrella, it gives us chill vibe as we R by the beach.

I have encounter bed bugs. Reached out to the host but no any response are given. Which I think this is not considerate.

The location. The floor is clean despite is small.

The towel is smelly. Like socks smells . There is spider web on room 189. The wall is very thin.

Shortcut gate always close .need to open that for easier access to beach. Supposedly just only 200m if using that gate but if close need to use main entrance whic 800m -1km distance to beach

Staff is very friendly they let me get in the room before checking in, also after I requested refrigerator for the room , because I stayed there for two weeks, my request was completed . Every time when I asked for the fresh towels l received it right away. Security at the gate was nice too I were welcomed every time I passed by. If you’re the fun of the monkeys you will probably meet them on the location one day. I would suggest keeping your windows closed when you are not in the room, they are good at the climbing on the buildings. They didn’t bother me at all, they were afraid of any human walking towards there direction . The place near the local beach, stores and the restaurants not far away.

Unfortunately my room was never cleaned during my stay. But it didn’t bother me I am very clean person, maybe they would do it if I asked . Definitely would come to them again if I visit the island.

Great location which near to Pasir Bogak, we rent car just 2-3 minutes can reach, if walk to the beach maybe need 10-15 minutes because the shortcut mini door is locked. The room same like pictures, very beautiful. Self check in, they will message the entrance password and door key password. My room is 181, the first door at the left after go up from the entrance.

The Tatami is quite high, maybe can add a small staircase. And the cleanness maybe need to be stay alert, as we found some ants under the Tatami mat. Then, if the mini door can open at daytime, it’s definitely a bonus.

This is the 2nd time we stayed here.We booked a family room of 5 people.The room was big and the mattresses were good. Location wise was good.

The room has problem with water heater pipe (leaking). The 1st time we stayed here in 2023 faced the same issue. Now also same issue. We had to wait for plumber to fix the pipe of water heater in toilet. However they managed to fixed it the next day. Besides that, the hotel didn't provide any coffee/tea or even bottle of water inside this room type.That's very weird cause it didnt cost much to provide at least few bottles of water .

Staying in Tatami was such a nice experience. It is not a hotel. It is a two storied apartment situated in a apartment villa complex. They rent our private rooms. The room was quiet and had a lot of space for a solo traveler. The bathroom was spacious and great. And it is a calm villa complex with security personnel at the arrival gate. The caretakers are very friendly. There was some language barrier issues but nothing that I couldn't handle. They have bikes and cars to rent and renting a car or a bike is the best way to explore this island. I would definitely visit here again as Tatami hotel was one of my nicest stays in my trip to Malaysia.

Super clean and cozy stay! The bathroom was spotless and the water pressure was amazing — small detail, big difference. Would 100% stay again!

Great stay overall — Just a small heads-up for groups: there are limited power outlets, which can be tricky for 5 people with phones, chargers, etc. Not a dealbreaker at all, just pack an extension cord and you’ll be all set!

- the location is deceiving. its not tepi laut. its far from laut. (far from beach) - its not walking distance to the beach, because need to walk to guard then go through few hotels infront. - i will bot repeat. coz i wanted to stay near to the beach

the building management close the small gate which we need to use to go to beach. closing that cause us to more further. so inconvenience. no longer walking distance to beach if that gate is closed. wifi also not working during 3 days.
