We used to stay in transit accommodation at this airport before. Compared to them the accommodation we got from Sama-Sama Express KLIA2 - Airside was an upgrade from ‘dingy’ to 5 Star level! Obviously we had to pay extra but that every dollar was fully worth. It was like a proper tourist hotel with a great view (you could watch all action on planes taking off!). The double bed I shared with my wife was super comfortable. It was roomy, with a nice bathroom, complementary toiletries including shaving and sawing kits, tea coffee making facilities and so on.

In fact none because it was a complete 5 star hotel accommodation.

Probably the best decision we have made as a stopover for a 27hour long travel home. This was absolutely, 100% worth it. The check in was super easy, it was quiet, had a hot shower and amenities, coffee and tea in the room. We are both tall adults and was comfortable in this room. Note that we both like a firm mattress but others may find it too hard.

We were given a card for an occupied room and woke them up. This mix up made me feel a bit uneasy and put a chair in front of the door in case they did the same to us. This is a big problem that needs to be addressed by the owners for sense of security, particularly for solo travellers. I also think it needs some form of ventilation. As an asthmatic I struggled a little bit with no windows or fresh air.

The room was small but sufficient for a 12 hour layover. We slept, showered and recharged devices. It is close to an American cafe and McDonald’s so we were able to get dinner and breakfast easily. The room was relatively quiet with heating/cooling. It had tea and coffee in the room, a safe and TV, clean towels, toothbrush and toothpaste.

There wasn’t any USB charging stations and only Malaysian power points, so a travel adaptor was needed, which I didn't have as it was a layover flight. I found USB ports on the TV but I had to leave the TV on to charge.

I stayed at Sama Sama Express at KLIA T2 for a 12 hour layover, and it was a very convenient and pleasant experience. Located right within the T2 terminal on the upper level (take the elevator), the hotel is perfect for transit passengers. The check-in process was swift and hassle free, allowing me to maximise my rest time. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with a comfy bed and a nice shower. Wi-Fi was very slow. Despite the brief stay, I appreciated the quiet ambience, which provided a peaceful environment for a much needed rest and recharge. The staff were friendly and efficient

I would definitely go there again. Very comfortable and outstanding value.

I messed up and exited immigration at midnight and was not allowed back until Air Asia checkin reopened at 4am. I appreciate it clearly states "airside" but perhaps to stop people making the same stupid mistake as me, they could send a message in bold and capitals saying do not go through passport control or you will have a whole world of pain? Not their fault, all my fault, but helping stupid people is a good thing. Thank you.

We mistakingly booked the terminal 2 Sama Sama Express when we needed terminal 1. (Check carefully before booking!) Reception at Sama Sama Express terminal 1 were seamless in their acceptance of our mistake and transferred the booking immediately.

Nothing, definitely worth every cent to have a private shower, a horizontal lie down and short nap between long flights.

Pleasant surprise staying at Sama-Sama. We expected a super basic room but the little touches like tea and coffee, plenty of towels, bathroom products (shower gel etc), toothbrush packets and TV made it a very pleasant stopover. Having 3 rooms all together was a bonus.

The price turned out to be a little more than expected given the super short stay, however we got a great sleep which made our transit so much better.

Delayed international flight and needed somewhere quick and easy to get some sleep. Great that we didn't have to go through immigration and leave the terminal. Room was clean and comfortable bed. Also very quiet, couldn't hear any airport noise at all.

Shame they couldn't match the online price, we had to wait 30 mins for our booking to process online before checking in. Book ahead if possible.

The comfort is clean and very easy to find the location the front desk staff is amiable. i will recommend that if you want to book us the booking,com to trip.com with credit card payments if you have any problem with currency exchange

there is nothing in specific to say but I think if any boy leads us to room for the person those already made the online booking will ve good because the customer might have more luggage

The bed was 10/10, super comfy as well as pillows. Ideal for a long night transit in the airport! Service was very nice and efficient. Our room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and there were also body soap and shampoo in the shower. Highly recommended!!

Sound proofing can be improved. You could hear very clearly loud voices from other rooms.
