We really enjoyed our stay at Ta' Giljan. Ornella was incredibly hospitable and welcoming throughout our five night stay. She provided great & varied home cooked breakfasts every day and was always on hand or contactable if we had any questions. The location for us was great. We didn't have a car, but it's a 20 minute walk into Xahgra and only about 25/30 mins walk to both Ramla Bay and Marsalforn. There's also a bus stop right outside. For us, it was the perfect location to explore Gozo from. The room was decently sized and the bed was really comfy. The room had an en-suite and the water pressure and temperature in the shower were great too. There was plenty of storage so the room never felt cluttered. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay and really made our visit to Gozo special. Thank you!

Nothing really comes to mind. It's a homely B&B and felt like staying in someone's house (in a great way).

We stayed here for 5 nights in April 2025. We had a really lovely stay, it's hard to put into words. It really felt like a home from home - Ornella's hospitality is first class, genuine, friendly and attentive, she really cares about her guests experience. The rooms are freshened every day which is not expected at a B&B but is welcome and shows how much care she takes in looking after guests. The variety offered at breakfast was wonderful, all of the food was delicious and fresh, and was slightly different each day. The room itself (we stayed in the Rosemary room) was clean, beautifully decorated and felt like home. The front and rear balconies are a bonus, and the view from the rear balcony (and the main terrace) is really spectacular. Honestly, photos don't do justice to the view across the valley. It's so beautiful and we spent a long time just staring out over the valley watching the birds and the people farming. Likewise, the photos don't do the room justice - the whole house is immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Oh, and Giljan the cat is very sweet, slightly aloof but a real character. One of the sassiest cats you could meet but a lovely presence in the house. Thanks so much Ornella, it was lovely staying with you and we hope to see you again in the future.

The only constructive comment we would make is that the mattress protector under the bed sheet is crunchy and hot. An alternative type (such as bamboo) might be less obvious (crunchy) and less hot at night. This is a very minor comment though.

Great location as a base to explore Gozo, very close to Ggantija temple and Ramla Bay. Ta’Giljan is a very well-kept and clean property with amazing valley views and a lovely terrace with swimming pool. Ornella is a wonderful host, she makes you feel very welcome from the moment you step through the door - and she cooks the most delicious breakfasts! We really enjoyed our stay with Ornella and thoroughly recommend staying at Ta’Giljan.

Ornella is a very friendly and attentive host, will help you with anything and establishes contact on Whatsapp. The place is extremely clean and well maintained. Upper floor room is large and with perfect view from balcony over the valley. Bed super comfy. Very modern and clean bathroom. Italian breakfast plus eggs, mokka coffee. Parking easily available on the street. Super location to visit Gozo, Marsalforn can be accessed on foot (30 min). Ramla beach very close.

A sunshade should be added to the balcony.

The entire house, including the rooms, is very clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious and offered good comfort. We had a lovely time in Gozo and always enjoyed coming back to the accommodation. The terrace and balcony were a great place to relax. Ornella is very attentive and has a great sense of humour. Ornella was a wonderful hostess who couldn't do enough for you. Very attentive and caring, Ornella made the whole experience very personal and she makes you feel like the most important people in her world, especially at breakfast. The location is very peaceful but the excellent bus route makes the rest of the island very accessible. If you are hoping to spend a few days at Ramla Beach, which is a 20-minute walk, this makes a great base. (A steep downhill walk there, but probably a bus ride back!) All in all a very peaceful visit. Gozo is an island steeped in tradition and Ta' Giljan offers the perfect base to explore. The night sky is worth the journey alone.

I can’t recommend this property highly enough. The view from my balcony was breathtaking. Very peaceful. Enjoyed sitting outside in my balcony early in the morning, listening to the birds and other animals close by. Breakfast was very good too and there was quite a selection of everything. The host Ornella is lovely and makes you eggs in the morning too. Parking was easy outside the property. There is also a supermarket within a minute walk.

We stayed for 4 nights in this lovely apartment during our holiday on the island Gozo. We were really satisfied with everything - a good location to explore the island, a very clean apartment with a beautiful view over the valley. Easy parking near the house. Beautiful location, amazing view from the balcony. The building, interior, the rooms, everything feels very new and high quality finish. The host, Ornella is wonderful. Every day she surprised us with a royal breakfast. She was incredibly attentive and took great care of everything. Thank you Ornella! Bonus: By far the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, and I'm VERY picky when it comes to beds.

The accommodation meets absolutely all the conditions you need for a perfect stay. Everything is clean, very comfortable bad, nicely arranged, with taste. It is located in a quiet area, it is a pleasure to relax on the terrace with the pool or even the balcony of the room, both with a beautiful view of the valley. It is very well positioned, being close to Marsalforn, beaches and other places to visit in Gozo where you can get very easily either by ATV/Motor Scooter or by local buses. And Ornella, the host, made sure to make our stay there a pleasure. She is very involved, attentive to details, she helps you with absolutely everything you need, she is simply a wonderful presence. And the breakfast prepared by her was very good. Thanks for everything, Ornella!
