After the emotions settled down we recently had the pleasure of experiencing what can only be described as the perfect stay at XVI Suites and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the attentive staff [Erica], who was so nice and went above and beyond to ensure our check-in was seamless. The ambiance of the hotel was a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, with tasteful decor that created an immediate sense of relaxation. The room itself was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, offering us some of the best sleep we have had in a while. The view from our balcony was breathtaking (to the sea), adding a special touch to the overall experience. Small details, like the glassware, soft as a cloud bathrobes, body lotions, and impeccable cleanliness made this stay unforgetable. The on-site dining options were top-notch. Whether it was the breakfast a la carte with its wide array of fresh and delicious orange juice/ or the gourmet dinner at the hotel’s signature restaurant, every meal was a culinary delight(a huge compliments to all the kitchen staff). . We also had the chance to enjoy the spa on the rooftop, which was a haven of tranquility. The treatments were rejuvenating, and the staff (Paula - our SOFIA VERGARA) :)) ensured we had a peaceful and pampered experience. What truly made this stay perfect, though, was the impeccable service. Every staff member we encountered were so friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a heart. Hands down for Mohamed, Lexsmi, Ahmed, LoveSing and all the other family of Elba. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, from offering local tips to serving the food with a huge smile on a face, also a room service, small talks at the breakfast table, and etc. In short, Every one of You made our stay flawless.

Our stay here was amazing from start to finish. The manager Mohamad went above and beyond to make our stay here as great as possible. The room was big, clean and very nicely decorated. The pool is small but nice with a view of the sea. The breakfast was outstanding, the food as well as the ambience in Elba. All in all great value fot the price.

What a gem! This hotel is 16 suites. The staff were phenomenal, the facilities (pool, onsite restaurants) were perfect & the view onto the sea was gorgeous. Breakfast included was such a bonus - lovely coffees, pastries, juice, menu & options. The staff were just brilliant; at breakfast, in the Elba restuarant, on the Oia rooftop bar. They went above and beyond at every opportunity. Each member of staff could name us and remembered specific drink/food orders, etc. It really made this feel like a luxury experience. The rooftop pool was the perfect spot to relax, we spent more time in this hotel than we had planned! If you wanted to, you wouldn't have to leave. Have breakfast downstairs, a walk along the beach, back to the pool, Japanese tapas for lunch poolside, evening Italian dinner in Elba restaurant - just perfect. The main road didn't bother us - we were concerned about it before we arrived. Uber & Bolt is always 1-2 minutes away and it is 10/15 minutes drive to St Julians/St Pauls/Valetta. We have recommended XVI Suites to family & friends, and really hope to return!

Overall, we had a good stay at the hotel. One downside was the lack of soundproofing – during the first nights we could hear every door slam in the corridor. However, after mentioning it to the staff, they were incredibly kind and responsive, and immediately offered us a room farther from the entrance, which solved the issue. The hotel is located on a main road – very convenient, as there’s a bus stop right outside. But keep in mind that if you open your window at night, you might hear traffic or the occasional street race. Our holiday began in April, and unfortunately it was still too early in the season for the air conditioning to be switched on. For us, the nights felt a little too warm. The biggest highlight of our stay was definitely the staff – everyone was exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. They really made us feel comfortable and taken care of throughout our visit.

Well updated, staff kept hotel really clean, the food was amazing, majority of the views were spectacular. We really enjoyed the welcoming greetings from staff, rooms were well situated, and elegant. Having a few restaurants close gave enough variety to really try a bit of everything. Staff were extremely helpful, and made us feel very welcomed. I would like to thank all of the staff at the XVI Suites, Adults Only, for giving me and my wife such a memorable trip, we can’t wait to come back.

There was a window in our room that led to nowhere but would sometimes echo the music from the rooftop patio. Which for me wasn’t an issue but I could see others taking it as a downfall. The rooftop restaurant/patio had a very different price menu, realizing that it’s open to all guests or not, perhaps as a guest have the drinks and menu reflect the other hotel restaurant prices.

The whole team, reception manager, breakfast team members, evening service team, housekeeping team all absolutely fantastic! The room was super, very clean, spacious and the shower was amazing! The balcony was spacious. The breakfast choice was excellent! Alba evening menu and food also fantastic. Perfect location, 3 great restaurants. 1 minute to buses to St Paul's Bay one way & Valletta the other. Buses were super cheap & reliable. I would absolutely return.

We only stayed a week!

The hotel was over my expectations ! Very confortable and chic. The breakfast is served to the table which is a plus value for me. There is a modest pool on the rooftop. But what i liked the most is the stuff, they were just amazing. Thank you to Firoz for welcoming me early in the morning and offring me a breakfast. Mohamed the hotel manager for his constant smile, Erica from the reception and Ray in the breakfast terrasse, our conversations were very funny. The hôtel is an adult only, so it is very quit, they have a restaurant, gelateria/Coffe shop, and amazing sushi at the rooftop service. And quit local rocky beach just in front. I recomend 100%

May be the location which is a bit far from the main attractions, there is a bus station just in front, but the buses are not always on time. But that will not stop me from going back.

Where to start. The room was exceptional, very high end and spacious. Everything from the bathroom amenities (Nuxe brand!) to the pillows (one softer and one harder so everyone gets their pick) was perfectly planned out. A well thought through experience. The air condition was a life saver in the 37 degrees Celsius and worked super well. Yes there was barking from the dogs nearby but it always ceased in the evening and the sound isolation is really good in my opinion. The location was perfect for us. Right next to the sea, right next to a road to easy bus access to explore pretty much the whole of Malta. I don’t think we’d appreciate our stay as much if it was nearer the city or near a touristy resort like area. Tony’s shack outside was perfect for a late night snack. The roof pool and bar is very chic and nice to chill. We didn’t spend too much time there as we prefer the ocean. The staff was very personal and friendly. They remembered us and always gave us excellent service. The breakfast is a limited a la carte selection and I imagine it gets boring if you stay for more than a week. But seeing as I don’t usually eat breakfast it wasn’t much of an issue. The croissants were exceptional. Definitely looking forward to staying here again!!

We stayed at this accomodation for three nights and had a truly wonderful experience. Both the structure and our room were beautiful and newly renovated. The rooftop, with its bar and pool, was absolutely stunning. What really made the difference, though, was the staff — they welcomed us warmly and were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. Truly exceptional service. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, more like a full meal! It’s hard to imagine a better stay than this!

Great central location to explore Malta, has bus stops yards away to go each end of the island. Very close to the sea and in one of the quieter spots. The Elba restaurant below the hotel was exceptional with very friendly and attentive staff. The gelato bar a few yards down was great value and had so much choice. Comfortable rooms and giant beds, I slept soundly every night.

The only downside was not having a viewing window from the room but I was only there for a few days so wasn’t too much of a problem but if staying longer think about selecting a room with a view. Can be noisy as it’s close to the road but once the window was closed it was very quiet.
