After the emotions settled down we recently had the pleasure of experiencing what can only be described as the perfect stay at XVI Suites and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the attentive staff [Erica], who was so nice and went above and beyond to ensure our check-in was seamless. The ambiance of the hotel was a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, with tasteful decor that created an immediate sense of relaxation. The room itself was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, offering us some of the best sleep we have had in a while. The view from our balcony was breathtaking (to the sea), adding a special touch to the overall experience. Small details, like the glassware, soft as a cloud bathrobes, body lotions, and impeccable cleanliness made this stay unforgetable. The on-site dining options were top-notch. Whether it was the breakfast a la carte with its wide array of fresh and delicious orange juice/ or the gourmet dinner at the hotel’s signature restaurant, every meal was a culinary delight(a huge compliments to all the kitchen staff). . We also had the chance to enjoy the spa on the rooftop, which was a haven of tranquility. The treatments were rejuvenating, and the staff (Paula - our SOFIA VERGARA) :)) ensured we had a peaceful and pampered experience. What truly made this stay perfect, though, was the impeccable service. Every staff member we encountered were so friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a heart. Hands down for Mohamed, Lexsmi, Ahmed, LoveSing and all the other family of Elba. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, from offering local tips to serving the food with a huge smile on a face, also a room service, small talks at the breakfast table, and etc. In short, Every one of You made our stay flawless.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we knew we were in for something special. The design is absolutely stunning — effortlessly blending modern elegance with cozy, welcoming vibes. Every corner looked like it was pulled straight from a design magazine (yes, we took photos in the lobby like the tourists we are, and no, we’re not sorry 😂).

The staff? Absolute gems. Warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful — they remembered our names and even surprised us with a little welcome treat in the room. Talk about going the extra mile.✨ Speaking of the room… WOW. Spotless, spacious, and flooded with natural light. The bed felt like sleeping in a cloud, the linens were luxurious, and the bathroom was spa-level. Little details — from the scent of the sheets to the curated minibar — made it feel more like a high-end boutique apartment than just a hotel room. Breakfast? Don’t even get me started. Fresh, local, delicious — and served with a view. Every morning felt like brunch with a front-row seat to paradise.

Our stay here was amazing from start to finish. The manager Mohamad went above and beyond to make our stay here as great as possible. The room was big, clean and very nicely decorated. The pool is small but nice with a view of the sea. The breakfast was outstanding, the food as well as the ambience in Elba. All in all great value fot the price.

Heeeey, together with my partner we stayed in this hotel for 7 days of vacation; it was very pleasant staying; the hotel looks perfect for adults, no children which is very much needed for couples which want just to relax, always clean rooms, nice conditioner, nice balcony, everything you need you can find here, perfect rooftop with marvellous pool, downstairs you have a restaurant where you can get the breakfast which I admit is the best our breakfast we tried in hotels, also if you want to try some lunch or dinner with apart payment is always available, also wanna say that the staff is very friendly and helpful, honestly the best our vacation ever, thank you guys!

Everything was great, it is a clean and beautiful place to stay with a lovely pool area on the roof. We were told the hotel was full but there was always more than enough sunbeds free by the pool so lots of options of where to sit. There are 2 amazing restaurants in the building, one sushi place on the roof and another restaurant downstairs. The staff were all lovely, especially Mohammad, he was always on hand to help, answer questions and make our stay as perfect as possible.

The location isn't amazing. This isn't much of an issue because Malta is quite small so you can get taxis to pretty much anywhere on the island at reasonable prices. But this hotel isn't in a place where you can walk out to loads of shops and restaurants.

We had the most wonderful stay at XVI Suites in Malta — truly a flawless experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Rowsa at reception, who set the tone for our stay. She was incredibly friendly, relaxed, and informative — exactly the kind of welcome you hope for but so rarely get. Her genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. Every member of staff we encountered was brilliant, but we especially want to highlight Rathain, who took exceptional care of us each morning at breakfast and again at dinner. His attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made every meal feel special. Speaking of meals, the Elba Restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The food was consistently delicious — beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Dining there was a highlight of our trip. We genuinely cannot wait to return. This hotel, and the amazing team behind it, made our stay unforgettable. A huge thank you again to Rathain and Rowsa — you truly made our visit exceptional.

What a gem! This hotel is 16 suites. The staff were phenomenal, the facilities (pool, onsite restaurants) were perfect & the view onto the sea was gorgeous. Breakfast included was such a bonus - lovely coffees, pastries, juice, menu & options. The staff were just brilliant; at breakfast, in the Elba restuarant, on the Oia rooftop bar. They went above and beyond at every opportunity. Each member of staff could name us and remembered specific drink/food orders, etc. It really made this feel like a luxury experience. The rooftop pool was the perfect spot to relax, we spent more time in this hotel than we had planned! If you wanted to, you wouldn't have to leave. Have breakfast downstairs, a walk along the beach, back to the pool, Japanese tapas for lunch poolside, evening Italian dinner in Elba restaurant - just perfect. The main road didn't bother us - we were concerned about it before we arrived. Uber & Bolt is always 1-2 minutes away and it is 10/15 minutes drive to St Julians/St Pauls/Valetta. We have recommended XVI Suites to family & friends, and really hope to return!

Overall, we had a good stay at the hotel. One downside was the lack of soundproofing – during the first nights we could hear every door slam in the corridor. However, after mentioning it to the staff, they were incredibly kind and responsive, and immediately offered us a room farther from the entrance, which solved the issue. The hotel is located on a main road – very convenient, as there’s a bus stop right outside. But keep in mind that if you open your window at night, you might hear traffic or the occasional street race. Our holiday began in April, and unfortunately it was still too early in the season for the air conditioning to be switched on. For us, the nights felt a little too warm. The biggest highlight of our stay was definitely the staff – everyone was exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. They really made us feel comfortable and taken care of throughout our visit.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The style is modern, sleek, and everything is impeccably clean. The bathroom was absolutely stunning – spacious and beautifully designed. All the staff were exceptionally polite, friendly, and professional. A special thanks to the receptionist who went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable after an early flight and arranged for me to check in as soon as possible – truly appreciated! The location is also super convenient, with a bus stop right outside the building, making it really easy to get around. The pool area was great too, with a lovely view and a friendly bartender who made the experience even better. Breakfast was amazing – a wide selection and everything tasted fresh and delicious. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

Just a perfect stay, stunning property just like in pictures, with great views, staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Staff even went an extra mile helping me to organise a welcoming surprise for my wife on our wedding anniversary. Highly recommend it and will definitely will be coming back. Also you must try their restaurant food during dinner time! Definitely the best food! Thank you for a perfect stay xx

Only one minus that it close to motorway so therefore it could be slightly noisy, but this hasn’t ruined our stay in any way and we still be coming back
