Families could benefit from play room for kids 2-9yrs. Indoor swimming pool is grt kids love them but we can’t take them everyday in chlorine water.

The hotel itself is very very nice!

Too much construction going on around the hotel. Noisy and ugly. Once the construction is finished I'm sure this hotel will be wonderful!

We stayed at the Verdi St. George's Bay Marina for a week. It was the best choice we could have made. The hotel is in a great location. Shops, restaurants, a playground, the beach were all within a few minutes walk. We were travelling with our five year old daughter so the fact that everything was within walking distance was a big bonus. For people who do not wish to leave the hotel there is a shop and vending machines inside the hotel. A coffee shop, winery , Italian restaurant , seafood restaurant , grill and bar restaurant are all located next to the hotel or within the hotel. They really try to satisfy everyone's needs. In the hotel there is the Olea restaurant which provides the buffet style breakfast for the guests. There is a wide variety of food to choose from for breakfast. Everyone will find something to their liking. You have a choice to sit inside or at the balcony where you can enjoy the spectacular view. The staff at Olea are very friendly and helpful. The chef prepares delicious meals that are full of flavour and they refill everything if you start to run out. During the week of our stay we had our table service provided from Jana , Mylene and Sabita. They were so friendly and went beyond the duties to provide us with great service. But to be honest all of the staff been very friendly and always helpful. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The rooms are cleaned daily. The cleaning service to our room been provided by Manysha during our visit and she always did an excellent job. There is a beautiful library too. The general manager of the hotel Sera Dalli is an extraordinary lady who will make you feel so welcomed that you feel like at home. The wellness area is located in the hotel next to Verdi St. George's Bay Marina. Its very short walking distance. It is a beautiful place to relax. I can only recommend this hotel with all my heart. In every aspect i would give five star rating for this place. We would definitely return.

Really nice hotel, definitely worth the price we paid. We were able to access the facilities of the hotel next door which was nice as they had an indoor and outdoor pool. Kids were also allowed in these pools. We liked the location of the hotel - it was right next to a bus stop, a short walk to all the restaurants and bars in St Julian but further enough for us to enjoy the peace and quiet. The hotel also helped us book a boat ride to Gozo and islands, which was very well organized and the pick up was from the hotel bay downstairs - super convenient. Breakfast was good as well - not a massive variety but good enough for a couple of days. Staff was very friendly as well - Sushma on the front desk was very helpful.

Breakfast could have had more fresh fruits (which are not dipped in syrup). :) But the quality of the rest of breakfast was good.

The Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The onsite travel desk was an unexpected bonus and the guidance welcome. The hotel in general, but particularly the guest rooms, were very clean. The proximity to the sea. The airport bus stops outside the door of the hotel and you can also easily access Valletta on other buses.

Some of the facilities weren’t open, as it was early in the season. This is understandable. This information was shared on the tv but unfortunately we didn’t turn on the tv until the end of our stay.

Very nice hotel near the sea, comfortable, well equipped. Our room was spacious, had enough storage space. Also I liked that the bathroom was quite big and convinient. You could tell that hotel is relatively old by the interior but no negative impressions from that, everything is functioning just fine. Location is also good, there's city beach in two minutes if you, like us, prefer sea to swimming pools (which hotel has).

Power sockets in the room are inconveniently placed, and there aren't many of them. Also, not a hotel's fault, but currently there's a huge construction site right beside with all the usual noises.

On line robot, offering help I did not need, which would not go away, preventing my access to search their website from UK. Which prevented us booking lunch / dinner on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. I had to by pass their online "system", send an email to book Christmas Eve, and countless other emails, which they did not understand in an attempt to find out what was on menu and book for Christmas Day, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day.

The location is perfect, right on the water and within walking distance to amazing restaurants and Paceville. The staff was wonderful and made sure we were well taken care of. One of the rooms we booked was freshly cleaned and the bleach was overpowering, and the front desk arranged an alternative room and kept checking in to make sure we were happy.

The swimming pool and spa are not actually on the property and they are located in another hotel which, despite being a 5min walk away, was still inconvenient. We felt misled because the booking made it sound like the facilities were IN the hotel.

Very good location, easy to go to Valletta, to the airport, to every major attraction in Malta. The public bus and the touristic bus both stop in front of the hotel. We rented a car and it was very convenient for us, we were 12 minutes away from Valletta. For those interested in clubs, you are just a 5 minutes walk away from Paceville. This scared us at first, thinking it would be noisy. But the hotel is very well insulated, so we had a very good night sleep, we weren't bothered at all. The view is amazing, especially from the breakfast area. The beach is very close, it is sandy and the water is great. The food provided for breakfast was not very diverse, but it was delicious. We were very happy with everything we tried. The reception staff was very kind and helpful. Also the concierge lady helped everyone with planning trips, renting cars, buying tickets...she was like a magician. The pools from Corinthia hotel (we could use them at all times) were wonderful. Enough space for everyone and very beautiful views. Around the hotel there are some great restaurants, including a Michelin star restaurant. We loved Don Royale.

The room furniture is dated. The room itself is very clean and you have everything you need (including iron, beach towels, slippers, bathrobes), but it could use a little improvement. The bed was confortable. The air conditioning system was also a bit old and difficult to use. Complimentary water every day would be nice. The key room demagnetized all the time and we had to go to the reception to reactivate it in order to enter the room. The biggest con is the huge construction site on the street. But we couldn't hear any noise in the room so it was ok.

The staff were good, very helpful and friendly. Plenty of good food available from the restaurants around the complex. Car parking facilities, with reasonable prices Good breakfast choices in lovely dining room with terrace. Comfortable bedrooms with seaview from balcony. Great views across the bay. Public bus stop outside the hotel door. Hop on - Hop off bus pick up from hotel door. Good swimming pool / sun deck area with pool bar. Would definitely stay again !

The toilet bowl in bathroom is facing a wall and space around it was limited, if it faced into the bathroom and was centred on the wall, there would be more room when using it. Face cloths would be good too. The music coming from the beachfront area at night was very loud (not Verdi fault !) but in general why is it allowed to spill out to public spaces ? It did quite down a lot after midnight. It wasn't a problem with the balcony door closed, but if a person was using balcony and another resting, it could be uncomfortable then.
