Although the property is perfectly located in front of the sea, there is little access to the water. What a shame! The restaurants were all well-furnished and clean with very friendly staff.

Perfect hotel for family. In our family we have 2 persons that have food allergies and we found the breakfast staff very helpful, especially Marisa, Jerico and the chef Sejif. They catered for both gluten and diary free food during our stay. The bar area and indoor pool are well kept.

The only recommendation is to invest in more EU or UK plug sockets in the room in order to be able to charge electronics.

The staff are fabulous, friendly, attentive and well trained, they make the experience feel very 5 star from the reception team to the breakfast to the cleaners. The 'Edge' area of the resort has 3 pools which are all facing the sea and in full sunshine all day versus the one next to the hotel which does become shady in parts. The Bridge bar which also serves lunch, alcohol and snacks is a great adddition as you can sit inside or out depending on the changeable april weather. It's out of the way of the mad crowds of Valetta and St julian with their narrow streets and lots of hills.

As some previous people say it is a little tired, and we were disappointed that it is not clear that most of the facilities are not open during April - we arrived at the back end of easter so the 'Wet bar' by the pool was open for 3 days and then closed. The whole Lido/Edge food area was closed too, and the Bistro only opens on saturday and Sunday lunch - so the food options at lunch are extremely restricted. Its a 10n minute walk down to st georges bay (which is great for lunch - particularly the 2 intercontinental restaurants on the water) amidst the cranes and building work - not very sightly and quite noisy - and then up lots of hills to get into St Julian about 20 mins walk - but not for anyone with walking difficulty.

**Radisson Blu Saint Julian Malta Review** My wife and I spent six nights in early August at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Malta. Overall, it is a great hotel—spacious and comfortable. The hotel boasts an excellent location, situated in front of the Mediterranean Sea in a secluded area, yet within walking distance from a vibrant district full of restaurants and bars, mostly frequented by a young crowd. The hotel staff is exceptional. We were welcomed by Pushpa at the front desk, who did a fantastic job checking us in and providing information. Throughout our entire stay, we always sought her assistance. She was consistently responsive, kind, patient, knowledgeable, and willing to help. She is a great asset to the hotel, and we hope she gets growth opportunities in her career at the Radisson and in the hospitality industry. Pushpa referred us to Marika at the concierge desk. Likewise, Marika was nice, responsive, patient, and did a great job helping us plan tours and visits during our stay. The hotel restaurants are excellent. The food and service at breakfast were outstanding. On Saturdays, one of the restaurants offers a great barbecue and buffet with high-quality food and service. Despite our overall satisfaction, there are a few areas needing improvement.

There are no power or USB outlets next to the nightstands to recharge phones, smartwatches, and tablets. The few power outlets in the room were occupied by lamps, the TV, and appliances. This needs urgent attention. Additionally, while there is a hair dryer, there are no outlets in the bathroom to plug it in. Our room was on the 7th floor, and the shower was terrible, with very little water and no pressure. Room cleaning was inconsistent, and many days we felt the room was not satisfactorily cleaned or replenished. Lastly, despite the beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea, there is no access to it. Neighboring hotels have built decks, platforms, and ladders to allow guests to swim. Radisson Blu should consider doing the same.

We got an upgrade to a Seaview room. Went for a weekend break for my birthday. When I checked in I gave my ID and the receptionist pointed out that i had my birthday coming up. The next day we get a knock at the room door and one of the workers presented me with a piece of carrot cake nicely decorated on a plate with happy birthday piped in chocolate together with a bday card . I loved how thoughtful that was. The hotel is clean and the staff ever so welcoming.

There was nothing I didn't like. Will definitely book again. Wish I had brought my bathing suit

Excellent location and hotel for a few days stay. We went in the low season so everything was comfortable and not that busy with ample parking space. We managed to get most out of the spa and indoor pool. The property is well located to reach anywhere in Malta within a half an hour drive. There were construction work close to the property that may create a jam during high season but we never faced any issues.

The spa can busy even in low season as we only managed to use it just once.

Very helpful stuff in all sectors from reception, maintenance, cleaners and waiters. Nice sea view room. Spacious room with amazing tv channels since it shows all the european cable sports and you can enjoy football/formula1 etc in your room privacy just like home. Air condition was nice in all the common areas since it was really hot outside.

The hotel start to look a little bit outdated in the room floors and look that some renovation will be needed. The carpets had stains in the corridors. Water pressure at 6th floor was a little bit low but ok. A serious minus is the restaurants of the hotel. They are good but comparing to other hotel restaurants next to this hotel, they should investment more in this department. The hotel next to Radisson has 2 restaurants with referral in michelin guide. The food was good but not for a 5* hotel as is missing this extra luxury touch. Also is the last hotel in the row of 5* hotels so some extra walk to city center is needed or more bolt taxi rides.

The hotel is in a lovely location with views of the sea. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The hop on bus stop and the normal bus stop are a few minutes walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very well equipped and had everything we needed. As a light sleeper I am always aware of noise from adjoining rooms however it was lovely and quiet and I slept really well. The selection for breakfast was great. As it was January when we stayed we didn’t use the outdoor pools however we did use the indoor pool and sauna which were lovely after a day sightseeing.

The rooms were spacious, with hot tubs in most bathrooms. The spa was also a delight! The breakfast menu was excellent, with daily changes too. They took special care of the end of year time to entertain the guests with a special Christmas carol concert. The indoor pool and sauna is also nice although quite small for the size of the hotel. The rooms were soundproof and beds comfy.

The room was great, but air con didn’t work properly for us. There was no temperature regulation unit also to know what’s the temp like. So it was quite warm at night and we couldn’t really open the window to the terrace as the ocean was also quite noisy. It was very busy time of the year maybe that’s also why.

The reception of the staff on arrival was amazing. We received calls to ask if we needed anything. Wilfred was exceptional and always asked if we needed help anytime he ran into us.

The room was too warm, and when the facility staff came in,he told us that the air conditioning wasn't available and advised that we put off the heater. We decided to open the door on the balcony to cool off the rooms (room 346 and 347), but at some point ,it was too noisy due to the wave of the sea. The lightning in rooms wasn't bright enough. We struggled to take good pictures, especially at night when we were all dressed and ready to go out.lol
