The stay was great, the staff was super friendly and were very nice to accommodate us. The room was very tidy when we arrived and they came by every day to bring us fresh towels and any other amenities we needed. The pool was also lovely and not at all over-crowded.

They came by everyday to give us fresh towels at 10 in the morning, which was pretty early. If you told the staff downstairs the day before however, they would be very accommodating. Furthermore, for us this wasn't a problem, but be aware you are close to a party district. Since Malta does not have a decibel-limit, you can hear it from quite far away. If this bothers you, you might want to book in a different area.

Finally, two decent bars next to the hotel.

Only downside is that it can be a bit lively on the beach around 3 am when the clubs throw out 😬. Traffic is awful at certain times of the day, so if leaving for the airport don’t leave it until the last minute as the Ubers do tend to cancel last minute if they know the area is busy and you will have to wait for one dropping off in the zone.

I'd give 10 stars just for the staff - extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and kind. Bed was comfortable. The high walls around the complex keep almost all of the road, construction, and street revelry sounds out, so even thought my door "faced" the street, I had a peaceful night of sleep every night. Coffee machine in the main atrium means I could get a caffeine hit right after I woke up every day without having to go to a cafe.

A microwave would have been nice to heat up leftovers but it wasn't a dealbreaker for me. The shower could use a little shelf inside to set your things, but also not a dealbreaker. (I'm not a fan of putting things on shower floors if I wasn't the one who cleaned the shower!)

we stayed in the house for a month as part of my Erasmus stay in Malta, and it was an amazing experience. The location was perfect—close to everything and well connected by public transport. Living in a house with locals made my time on the island feel much more authentic and immersive. The home was cozy, clean, and well-equipped for a longer stay. I felt truly welcomed and at home the entire time. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine local experience in Malta!

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff is very kind. The room had an amazing view. It was cleaned every day and towels were changed. The room had all the amenities. Very comfortable beds and pillows. On the top floor there is a large terrace with sunbeds and tables where you can relax with the amazing view of the sea . There is a large swimming pool opposite the hotel that you can use for free

The hotel is not suitable for families with small children because it is quite noisy because it is located in the party area of ​​the resort. If you don't mind the noise, this is the best place

We really enjoyed our stay at Cresta Beach Studios. The location is right beside the beach with a lovely big pool and plenty of sun loungers. Towels are changed daily which is a lovely touch. Very clean and a standard kitchenette with most utensils.

It is loud at night and into the early hours of the morning but you are in midst of the nightlife. The curtains in the room didn’t block out the light and didn’t close fully.

This place has mixed reviews on Google as well as here. So our expectations weren't especially high going into this. Upon arrival we were very delighted to find that Cresta Beach Studios was under new management. Chris and his brother were fantastic new owners and gave us a very personalised welcome. They are very friendly and want to help however they can! It was also clear they had addressed the issues of cleanliness and mismanagement, even letting us check in early at 11am. The room was extremely spacious, clean and in a great location. Kitchen was good and functional. The beach views were very nice.

The kitchen was lacking a few things, like a chopping knife. Cooking oil, salt, pepper would also be nice to have! On a Saturday night the music outside became a bit loud until midnight. It's not loud enough to prevent sleep in my opinion, even in the beach facing room.

Location was fab - pool and beach right at your doorstep, shops nearby. Staff were very friendly upon check-in. Rooms had everything you need - kitchen, towels, hairdryer etc. Definitely good value for money.

We found the beds a tad uncomfortable for our backs. Rooms may also benefit from ‘do not disturb’ signs for housekeeping, as they come round every day at 10am to change the towels, and sometimes we wanted to sleep in a bit longer without being disturbed.

It is in a great location next to St. George's Bay and to the heart of Malta's nightlife and entertainment. Clean, tidy, the employees are kind and helpful. Towels are changed every day. The kitchen is equipped with everything. The room we stayed in had a view of the beach, no balcony, but on the same floor there was a large balcony with tables and chairs and sunbeds overlooking the sea.

Because it is located near numerous cafes, discos and bars during the night it can be louder, but not from the music, it is not heard, but from the people returning from going out.

The studios are just outside the party disctrict, so it was calm at night. There was an extra bed made, so we could sleep apart with my friend. Cleaning lady came every day between 10 and 11am. A haidryer and one electrical plug adapter were included in the room.

We got new toilet paper rolls only after we run out of it completely, although a cleaner came every day to our room to change/fold towels. The kitchen missed an actual knife for cutting (there were only butter knifes).
