Botanica B&B is a hidden gem in Gozo. We only stayed one night as we only had a short holiday and were trying to fit a lot in. Sophie was so welcoming and the B&B is stunning. It was so nice to stay somewhere a bit more traditional and it was a lovely contrast to our stay on the main island. The room was really comfy & had a lovely balcony & view of the pool. I loved hearing the birds singing and it was so quiet with just the sounds of nature. I read from previous reviews that Sophie did a good breakfast but we were blown away. We are vegetarian and she was so accommodating. All home made and you could see how much care she put into it. We would love to come back. Merci Sophie ❤️

It was our second time at Botanica, first time in the summer and this time in the winter. The place is fabulous, very cosy and homely. The breakfast is definitely a highlight, with local fresh ingredients and a fabulous presentation. The host Sophie is a wonderful person, very friendly and attentive to her customers needs. We were free to use the open spaces around the house and the very cosy fireplace. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, hot water, a fridge and a kettle with options to make tea and coffee. Just perfect for a few days stay away from a hectic lifestyle. Really good options for restaurants in the evening as well, just 8 minutes walk away. I give this place 10 out of 10. We will be back again 😊

We had the pleasure of staying at Botanica on Gozo, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, Sophie, the owner, made us feel incredibly welcome. Her warm hospitality and attention to detail set the tone for the entire stay. The house itself is full of character, exuding old-world charm with thoughtful touches that make it feel both inviting and cozy. The décor is beautifully curated, and every corner of the house tells a story, which we really appreciated. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with high ceilings that added to the sense of airiness. It was impeccably clean, and we immediately felt at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the lush garden and refreshing pool—an absolute oasis, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. And let's not forget the breakfast, which was a true 5-star experience. Freshly prepared by Sophie, it was a delightful way to start the day, with a variety of delicious, locally sourced options that catered to every taste. Overall, our experience at Botanica was fantastic, and we would not hesitate to return. Sophie’s hospitality, the beautiful surroundings, and the overall warmth of the house made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Sophie is a very welcoming, warm and attentive host who has taken all the right steps to create an intriguing, breathtaking and tropical villa. As soon as you step in, you find yourself in a beautiful high ceiling house with scented aromatherapy greeting you and candles etc. Sophie is clearly a passionate caring host who has paid attention to the detail and provides the BEST of all breakfasts!!! We were flabbergasted with so many tiny dishes, jams, pancake with apple, fruit, everything.. wow wow wow.. Magnificent! We much return soon so thank you so so much! Love Anna & Hannah xXx

The breakfast was wonderful, particularly given the surroundings it was served in - a lovely yard/garden. The hostess was very attentive.

The breakfast was lovely but overwhelming! It was too much, and it would have been better if it were a buffet, so that we could pick only whatever we wanted. The entire (beautiful) presentation and quantity appeared to be an effort to justify the high price, since the rest of the facilities were normal, and even below expectations, as the shower was very small and the room dark.

Sophie was very friendly, kind and welcoming. Her house has a relaxing ambience. We really enjoyed her amazing, beautifully presented breakfasts in a very pretty garden. It was lovely to swim and relax by the pool in the afternoons after our trips out. The location was perfect with only a short 10 minute walk to the village square. Sophie and Stephanie are a great team. We would highly recommend this exceptional house and will definitely return.

We would like to thank Sophie for the amazing time we had in her B&B! The house is 400 y.o. and provides a nice local atmosphere. The room was pretty big and clean. The house is super beautiful, with nice furniture and decorations. There are some aroma candles in the house, which smell awesome. We had everything we needed, also towels for the swimming pool. The pool was big enough and clean. The most impressive thing was the breakfast! Sophie and her friend prepared everything themselves every morning! We stayed 3 nights there, therefore we had 3 breakfasts. Every time there was something new, they prepared every time another surprise! The food was very fresh and delicious, but the way they served it was amazing too!!! It was served with so much attention to detail and love! Merci Sophie for the amazing B&B experience in Gozo! The room was spacious with magnificent views. The breakfast outstanding and location perfect for exploring Xaghra and Gozo. The host was kind and generous, making us feel at home - with excellent tips for walks and restaurants across the island. The garden and pool area is an oasis. Parking also available on site if you have a car.

Our stay with Sophie in her beautiful b&b exceeded our expectations. The building, exterior and interior, was beautiful and the smell was amazing (think entering into a botanical spa with lemon and ginger scents). Everywhere was spotless. We stayed in the room with a Seaview, the photos don't do the terrace justice, it's huge! Beautiful sunsets whilst sipping on some gozian wine. The pool area was beautifully done and pool itself was well kept and big enough to swim laps in. Breakfasts are 10/10 are you will read in many of these reviews. The area is great, 10 min walk into the town square with a selection of bars/restaurants. We used the bolt app to get cabs if we wanted to venture further, this was super easy and cheap, waited no more than 10 mins each time and all parts of the island are quickly accessible.

This was a very outstanding experience. The house is very welcoming and clean. Very peaceful environment, tranquil and zen. Sophia the owner was absolutely amazing, friendly, kind, attentive. The breakfast was one of a kind! Simply impressive with amazing selection. Sophie really made an effort in breakfast, it was the best ever breakfast we had in all these years travelling. Definitely it is a must to visit and stay in this beautiful hidden gem 💎 Highly recommended and we can't wait to visit again!

That our holiday was too short, we want to stay longer! 😀
