The hotel is in an excellent location, the breakfast is great. The hotel is on the 5th floor of a shopping mall, so there is a restaurant, shops and excellent shopping opportunities. Students get a 15% discount, and returning guests get a 25% discount for 3 nights.

Parking is difficult. Getting down to the -4 floor of the store is a life-threatening feat, parking on the street is impossible. Another problem is that the heating and cooling stops if the motion sensor does not detect movement, so it takes at least half an hour in cold or hot weather before the room can be enjoyed.

First time at The Duke and it exceeded my expectations. Staff was exceptional, so friendly and helpful. I was able to check in a bit earlier and also extend the checkout to noon without any charge. But even the charge for extending checkout till 8pm (!) is very reasonable (EUR 50 for my room). I had a room with a jacuzzi which was wonderful after a long day of hiking. The soundproofing is very good, I heard absolutely nothing during my stay. I had breakfast delivered to the room on my last day, to make the most of the weather and the terrace. Breakfast options were varied and tasty, I especially loved the omelette cooked to order as well as the fresh croissants and fruit. I will definitely return.

It would be hard to find something to fault but perhaps the only thing would be the coffee. I ordered black coffee for breakfast one morning and it wasn't very good. The cappuccino the next day was nice though.

Check in was very efficient and helpful staff. Gave me my room earlier than the time and am grateful for this. Time spent on explaining the map and buses. Thank you

I was charged €2.50 off my credit card yesterday. I called your hotel and told I had a beer from the mini fridge. This is NOT TRUE and I am very offended that your staff do not believe me. I bring tourists to Gozo and now I feel do not trust hotels. Obvious the house keeping did not check from previous occupants in the room 521 and billed me for their missing beer!!!!. I did not have a beer. I expect my money to be refunded. It is the principle of not believing a customer I was here for work. I have 30 years of tourism experience and am a tour leader.

Everything was exceptional. We staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The beds were so comfortable. Central and immaculately clean. We booked last minute as was due to arrive to a villa on Gozo the following day, but was expecting very high winds and was worried the ferrys would be cancelled. So, I booked the hotel for the night. Felt welcomed from the minute we arrived. Had a small issue the morning after we arrived, but the staff more than compensated. Fantastic, hotel, totally recommend. Thank you for making our holiday, even more magical

The Duke hotel is located close to the city center, 5-6 min walk from the bus station and 10 min walk from Ċittadella. You can actually have a pretty view on the fortress from the 4th floor. There is also a shopping center in the same building and a cafe with nice sweets. I had a big room with a small corner with a table and chair. Safety box, mini bar, small wardrobe, big mirror, tea kettle with tea bags and instant coffee + cream were available in the room as well. I received a personalized postcard and chocolate present for Christmas, which was very cute. It seems some of the rooms have jacuzzi but I was not offered an upgrade. The room 204 was very quiet despite of the shopping mall on the ground floor. The breakfast was very diverse. You could order eggs the way you like them the be cooked: omelet with different fillings, poached, boiled, etc. The hotel is very responsive and provides the support needed via messages or phone call.

The hotel positions itself as an environmental caring place, which can be noticed in the glass bottle with purified water and not taken towels, if they are not on the floor, which is great. However, one time I came back to the room and light was on in all possible places. I also did not get, why there were so many personnel on 24th and 25th of December during breakfast service and only 2 on the 26th. I had a small balcony but no window in the room.

Despite being BANG in thr middle of the Rabat centre, the room ia super quiet and relaxing. The room came with all the trimmings - the perfect duvet, minibar, large smart TV, ironing board, complimentary water and toiletries etc. The show is a Jacuzzi one, with rainfall, jet and steam options! It was a treat. The terrace was perfect - private Jacuzzi hot tub, private sauna and a double sunning bed enjoying the view. A truly relaxing and deluxe room! Breakfast was lovely. Staff were great!

The pillows could have been better, however, it's a personal preference for most :)

Minutes from the bus station, this is an excellent hotel. On the upper floors of a shopping centre, but once you’re in you wouldn’t know. Staffed 24/7, check in was easy on the day. They are making an effort for sustainability with door key cards made in wood not plastic (it can be done) and filtered water in refillable glass bottles. Bed is very comfortable and we had a balcony overlooking the gardens (very popular for a local starling murmuration) which look magical at night. Staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast super - large selection of local cold savoury and sweet treats but also a full cooked breakfast if you must. Great location and thoroughly recommended.

An absolutely amazing experience. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. We used the room service for Breakfast which was amazing although we missed the nice view onto the Citadel but the comfort of Breakfast in bed made up for that. They helped us also to arrange some short noticed massages which we had in our room which were also amazing as well as gave us a full guide and suggestions of what to do on the island upon our arrival. The Jacuzzi on the balcony was super cool, too overseeing part of the park next to the hotel as well as the city. There were loads of shops as well in the same complex so we were able to buy some snacks there for the evenings. The staff also helped on short notice to leave a small surprise for my girlfriend before our arrival. They all went above and beyond the call of duty. Can't think of anything to faulter our experience. I think the only comment I would make to anyone booking this, if you book one of the more expensive rooms do spend the extra 20 or 30 pounds per night for the Citadel view rooms.

The hotel is very conveniently located on the main street of Victoria. Plenty of public transport nearby. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. They gave me lots of tips and recommendations for how to reach places in Gozo as well as plenty of restaurants options. They would have also made the reservations had I needed it. The breakfast in the morning was varied and plentiful, even towards the end of the breakfast time.

I love absolutely everything about this hotel I think it’s one of the best I have ever stayed and their staff for sure the number one, they are absolutely awesome incredibly helpful and nice, they all made me feel so welcome and enjoy even more my stay in Gozo. I was upgraded to a room with jacuzzi which I really appreciated the room was very comfortable and spotless with everything you need, breakfast was delicious and with a beautiful view to the citadel. I stayed 3 nights and wish I could have stayed longer because there are so many beautiful places to visit. Location is perfect. I will for sure stay here again when I come back to Gozo. Thank you!!
