Beautiful boutique hotel, impeccably renovated. Modern comfortable rooms. Kind staff, super clean, perfect central location very close to the citadel and plenty of restaurants. Fresh tasty breakfast. Small enough to feel homey.

Unfortunately the thin glass of the Maltese balconies does very little to keep the outside noise out (not that it is a noisy area). €1 for a pair of slippers and €5 for a bathrobe feels silly - should be included with the room surely.

We were very happy to have chosen Maria Rosa Suites in the town of Victoria for our vacation on the island of Gozo. This place perfectly met our needs and expectations. Although the apartments are located right in the heart of the town, they are ideal for a peaceful and quiet retreat. The thoughtful hosts made sure we felt cozy, welcomed, and comfortable. Every detail in the apartment has been carefully considered – everything you might need is provided: especially spacious wardrobes, all necessary items and equipment. The interior design is tasteful and thoughtfully arranged. The rooms are pleasantly cooled by a perfectly regulated air conditioner, and everything is impeccably clean. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts – both the selection and the quality were excellent. The beautiful terrace was a highlight – each morning, accompanied by the sound of church bells, it was a pleasure to sit there, enjoy our meal, and sip the first cup of coffee. Every morning, we were greeted by a very kind and helpful host who was always ready to offer recommendations to make our stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible. If you’re dreaming of a high-quality, peaceful, comfortable, and pleasant stay on the island of Gozo in Malta, I sincerely recommend staying at Maria Rosa Suites.

When travelling I usually choose places rated above 9. And usually, even though they are worth their rating, they have some minor flaws, shortcomings, inconveniences. This is NOT the case with Maria Rosa Suites. In my humble opinion based on 3-night stay, this place is almost perfect in terms of comfort, location, amenities and overall atmosphere (and "almost" gives only the slightest margin for things I might have not noticed...) And if I could, I would rate it 11 in comparison to other places I had already rated 10. Thank you Donald, you are a wonderful host and your place sets new standards. It will be damn hard to equal or outmatch you... So I do hope to visit your place again and would definitely recommend it to other visitors to Malta and Gozo.

The breakfast was amazing - fresh watermelon; eggs however you wanted; capers and nuts and all the things I love! Really enjoyed it and to be able to eat outside in the golden courtyard was lovely. The location was central, room was clean, air-con working, nice to have water in the rooms. Answers to questions via whatsapp were prompt and the access via key codes was easy.

My room (2nd floor) was pretty plain and bare and small compared to my friends on the second floor. We all booked at the same time and price was the same so it left me feeling a bit confused around value.

The charming Maria Rosa Suites is more like a boutique hotel than a B&B. The welcoming host Donald has his office in the entrance foyer and is instantly available to assist with any question. Pre check in communication was exceptional. The breakfast area adjoins the foyer and has a courtyard option. The food was very good with a wide choice and attentive service from the chef. The décor of the nice sized bathroom and bedroom was fresh and modern. A good sized lift services all floors. It is a short walk to the delightful, compact Pjazza San Gorg which has every manner of restaurant packed into three sides. Luggage drop off and pickup near the front door was straight forward. Overnight parking at the Cittadella car park worked fine. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

The charm, decor of the property (every detail) and the breakfast in the courtyard. Also you can’t beat the location. So central, right next to the beautiful San Gorg square and the citadella. The best location you could have in Gozo. We visited many places and everywhere was close. Also very affordable compared to the hotels we stayed at in Malta. Check in was super easy and we could get the room before 3 which was great ! Also loved to hear the bell of the church every now and then.

Nothing but if I can make one suggestion : the cleaning everyday would be appreciated.

Heraclitus said: “No man ever steps in the same river twice. For it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.” And I dare to disagree - I will not argue whether I am the same man, but the river of Donald's hospitality is ever the same... During our first stay we might have been charmed by a new place and subject to traveller's adrenaline shot. But on our second visit the perfection in details and the tranquility of Maria Rosa impressed us not a bit less. Although so close to the hustle and bustle of Victoria's center and it's finest attractions, Maria Rosa offers incredible peace and soothes your senses after a day's worth of exploring beautiful Gozo. Been there, experienced that, want to go back...

Everything was absolutely perfect.The really good kindness and polite communication between us and the owners. The location is situated just a few minutes by walk from Victoria center. The place was simply charming, We loved how they kept the old house of character style, into a great,warm atmosphere. The room was so beautiful,with a nice perfume really clean (we are pretty picky, generally we bring with us some detergents, and antibacterial cleaning products, but this time was different, we didn't even use them)everything was so accurate, in order, clean and we were happy about it. The breakfast was really good as well and the staff has always been gentle.One more excellent thing of Maria Rosa Suite that makes our stay here great, (For us that we love our pets and we don't leave them even one day without us) is that they are Pet friendly. In conclusion this was one of the best places where we have been

The room was great value for money. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. The room was very modern and had a nice style to it. The breakfast was delicious and it was great to be able to sit out in the courtyard in the morning. The location is good as everything in Victoria is walkable. Beautiful reception, I would definitely recommend Maria Rosa!

The only negative was that the room had very little to no soundproofing. The church bells ring in Gozo very often and it was quite loud at night and in the morning.

The breakfast was very good as expected, nothing was missing and the vibe was always cozy and relaxed! A really nice B&B that lives up to the mindfullness and feng shui vibe it’s decorated to be, interior and exterior design included. Really friendly and helpful owner and staff. Communication through WhatsApp was very smooth. Travelling as a solo female the B&B had everything that one needed. It felt safe and secure, and definitely recommended if you want to stay where it’s not overcrowded or “touristy” and if you prefer relaxation over “busy vacay”. Time almost stood still and that’s in a good way! Through the owner of Maria Rosa Suites, I booked a door-to-door transport at Mayjo Car Hire from Malta airport to the B&B, totally worth the money and so easy with a very friendly driver as well! This was my first trip travelling alone. I stayed for 4 days, and it was so refreshing. Overall such a good an experience, and I returned home with new energy. Highly recommended!

Don’t have anything to mention. The B&B could level up by having a little pool/jacuzzi for guests to cool off, but Ramla Bay is but 20 minutes away with bus, so really I don’t have any bad things to say about the establishment.
