What a gem! Giovanna was so helpful and welcoming. We had a beautiful room (5) overlooking the little courtyard. It was very peaceful. The room had everything we needed and was very spacious with a great bathroom and good shower. There was a safe, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful with lovely choices of hot dishes cooked to order as well as a buffet. We used the spa which was well worth the supplement as we had it for our sole use for 2 hours, with candles lit, and bathrobes and slippers provided. It's an easy walk to the town with lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from and buses (+ open top guided buses) that will take you anywhere on the island you want to go. The Citadella in Victoria is an absolute must see. We would absolutely return here. ❤️

Given that this was my first stay at Battistini's Boutique Living and Spa - and a short one at that - I am not entitled to rate the entire facility. Especially the Spa part of it which I did not use. As for Living - I also can not comment on the rooms, except the room 1, where I stayed. But I definitely can and must say something about our hostess Giovanna, who was just wonderful... :-) Grazzi ħafna for your hospitality and care! The room was spacious, well-equipped, the breakfasts tasty and filling, the inner courtyard gave the opportunity to relax among the greenery to the sound of a small fountain. The hotel is very close to Victoria Bus Station if you do not come by car. [And please consider the :-( comment below as an INFO, NOT a complaint!]

Room 1 does not have a window, take this into account if you do not like enclosed spaces. It is also at street level, which, to my eye, is fortunately relatively unpopulated. On the plus side - the door separating the room from the street has 4 “layers” (an outer louvered door, inner wooden door leaves, and a sliding glass door and insect netting between them), so it's relatively quiet inside. It is also possible to open the 3 inner layers to let in fresh air.

A very spacious room with sufficient storage capacity and all the amenities one needs. Very comfortable bed, large balcony. Large bathroom with a walk-in shower. Powerful air conditioner. The hotel is located in a quiet street, just a few minutes walking away from Victoria center. We had a rental car and were always able to park the car almost in front of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious. Last but not least, Giovanna, the owner, is a very kind person, always very helpful and ready to fulfill ones wishes.

The power supply at Gozo island obviously has it's limits stretched during the summer season. The result is randomly appearing voltage drops which caused problems for the hotel elevator and quite often rendered it out of service. Not that anyone got stuck in it, it just couldn't be used.

This is hotel is a gem on an otherwise unremarkable street. Hotel owner, Giovanna is wonderful, super helpful and makes a lovely breakfast. Giovanna goes over and above to make you feel welcome and well taken care of. The hotel feels so high end with beautiful finishing, lovely features and small details to make your stay perfect. The hotel is in a great location and provides a good base for sightseeing as it is only a short walk to the bus station! There is a great selection of breakfast items and you can also choose to have a cooked breakfast which is delicious. You really are spoilt for choice. I definitely recommend and will stay here again to make use of the spa facilities as didn't stay long enough to make use of this.

I really can't fault this boutique hotel but would suggest putting hangers in the bathroom to make use of the hanging space.

During our two-night stay at Battistini Boutique, we had a wonderfully relaxing weekend. This boutique is designed for ultimate relaxation, making it ideal for a November getaway with its spa facilities. The jacuzzi and sauna were the perfect combination for unwinding. The location is peaceful, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Breakfast offered a great selection, prepared fresh as soon as you enter the lobby. The price was very reasonable and worth every penny. Our room was spotless and equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay.

Nothing ... everything was beyond perfect.

The lodging was exceptionally nice - with a spa (separately bookable), pool on the roof, and a made to order breakfast, about 10 minutes walk to St. George's Square or 15 to the Citadel of Victoria. Central location to the entire island, with street parking right out front, and the area is peaceful and quiet. Rooms were ample sized, nicely decorated, with plenty of space to spread out, plus a small balcony. If we come back to Gozo, this would be the place we'd stay.

The air conditioning wouldn't go below 24 degrees, so the room was a bit warmer than we would have liked. Although it was late October when we were there, the nighttime temps were not cool enough to make opening the balcony door (plus it rained at night) and option. Beds were on the hard side, and the bathroom door was more akin to a shutter than a door, for whatever reason. However, the bathroom and shower were nice and large

Stayed 6 nights at this fantastic little boutique b+b, the place was outstanding in every aspect, quiet location but just a 2 minute walk to the centre and the bus station etc, the top deck with the pool was very nice after a day out in the sun, the whole building is immaculately kept, all very new and tastefully designed, giovanna the owner was extremely lovely and took care of us very well. Breakfast was very very nice, high quality and a good range to choose from. Honestly it's been one of the best places I've stayed and would totally recommend the battistini to anyone looking to stay on gozo.10/10 .

Amazing location, trendy and spacious room with high quality materials, very delicious breakfast, super kind staff. I really liked that there were loads of space to put things, even in the bathroom (most hotels have no shelves or cupboards but at this hotel there were a lot of storage places everywhere). Coffe machine, tea and fresh water in the room were also lovely. The rooftop has great views over the city. Restaurants, shops and the citadel can be reached via a short and easy walk.

There was a weird air circulation noise all the time in our room, but still we managed to have great sleeps, it was a little bothering though. There was no dairy-free milk at breakfast - i missed that. The water of the rooftop pool was cold.

perfect place! , good location close to everything thing 2-5 min walk from restaurants , shopping centers, the old city and the beautiful castle. The hotel is beautiful and well designed. The room was cozy and spacious, comfortable and very clean, complementary coffee and water every day. The staff and Giovanna the owner is very nice and helpful, made us feel welcomed and like family from the start. The breakfast was perfect! I fell in love in the frittata and ordered it every day 😍. The wellness facilities is very nice and for a reasonable extra fee. Thank you very much for geart and relaxing experience in Gozo ! We loved everything about it and we definitely will be back !

I wished we booked more days!

Battistini Hotel is a beautiful place to stay. It is modern, exceptionally clean and the bedrooms are superb. The en-suite was large and the shower was excellent. There is a rooftop pool which looks over the rooftops to the citadel and it’s a good place to just lounge in the sunshine. Breakfasts are excellent and freshly cooked. Good coffee too. Giovanna is an excellent host; friendly and super efficient. Giovanna has a superb knowledge of the area and is keen to ensure that her guests enjoy their stay. Definitely a place we will return to.
