It was our first time in Malta and Gozo. Although the villa is not exactly on the beach, the location and ambience are perfect. There is good transportation on the island: buses, taxis, and rental cars. The villa itself is very beautiful inside; I would compare it to the folk museum. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The internet is excellent as well. A couple of words about the breakfast: it was delicious and had enough calories to keep us full for the next few hours. The kitchen staff introduced us to some local cuisine and homemade cakes. For coffee lovers, there is tasty and aromatic coffee every morning. The owners of the villa are an amazing family. Every morning, Monika met us in the kitchen, and we had a small talk about our experiences and plans for the upcoming day. They also gave us useful recommendations about Gozo itself and upcoming events in the nearby villages. Their little daughter sometimes entertained the guests by playing the piano in the lounge area. Highly recommend this place for your holidays.

Everything was good

Both the owners and other staff were lovely and very helpful and considerate. Our room was lovely and spacious and the air conditioning was very efficient, bathroom was large and very clean. The pool area was lovely, clean and the swimming was very good. Breakfast was excellent - a wide range of options depending on your taste.

Can't make any criticism of the hotel itself but it is a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest cafe and shop in the town. It is an uphill walk on the return which in the heat isn't great. There is a bus stop nearby but buses are only hourly. They recommended the Bolt taxi app and that was easy to use and reasonably cheap.

Impossible to praise this place enough! From the warm welcome provided by Stefano, to the extremely attentive nature of Monica throughout my stay, to the copious, delicious breakfasts organised by Fiona every morning, everything was exceptional. Even the younger of two cats I saw was very friendly to all the guests, and will be happy to spend time with you by the pool or on the sofa in one of the sitting rooms. :) It's easy to reach from the ferry with a ride service, and you can have food delivered as well if you wish, or get a ride into Victoria to try one of the restaurants there. They can even arrange a reasonably priced Lomi Lomi massage on-site; just ask them to do so before you arrive due to limited availability. Would happily stay there again the next time I need a quiet break. Thank you again to the entire team for a great weekend!

The property is located in an extremely quiet residential area of the island and ideal for travellers looking to disconnect from crowded tourist spots. The property itself is both wonderful and homely. All the facilities provided are extremely thoughtful and meant to make your stay more comfortable. Both Stefano and Monica are welcoming and treat you like their own family. The breakfast spread is quite varied, delicious and fuels you for a fun packed day. Views from the villa are panoramic of the entire island.

Everything was great! Nothing to dislike

Our stay clearly exceeded our expectations. Not only is this a truly elegant and cozy villa, located ideally in the village of Sannat to serve as and ideal retreat and perfect home base for your adventures on Gozo. The rooms are very spacious, immensely comforable and pleasantly quiet. There is a spledid pool in the inner courtyard and at the same time the whole place oozes calm and relaxation. You could say that the villa adopted the spirit of Monica and Stefano who run this hotel. You can tell immediately that really love what they do and that they are the right people in the right place. They are extremely helpful and kind and can give you great recommendations and insider tips for anything you could look for on Gozo. Their support around our sportive activities gave our stay a very personal feel, something we haven't experienced on holidays in such way before. Only negative thing was that we did not stay longer. But one thing is for sure, we will return!

We loved abosolutely everything. For 8 nights this place become as a home for us. Villa Serenity have everything for you to spend excellent time, in a very peacfull and quit area. All of the small details in this place are very meaningfull, and we really loved that!!! Amazing continental breakfast which was always fresh and full of choice. We were very surprised how everything was organized and clean. We don't have any negative thouths about this place. Stefano, Monika and all the team, those people are exceptionaly friendly and very welcoming, ready to have a great conversation at any time. :)) We are higly recommend this place!!

Beautiful villa style house with great views, amazing pool out the front with plenty of shade or sun! Nice choices for breakfast, and options for additional drinks to be ordered at the pool during the day. Family run business with a hands on approach, very helpful with any queries we had and gave great recommendations for what to explore on the island.

Location is a little off the beaten track but everywhere on the island is within 10-20 minutes drive. A couple of nights on Gozo requires a car in our opinion!

Loved the building and authenticity. We had peace quiet and tranquility late afternoon which was what we needed. The hosts were exceptional with their knowledge of the area. Great views of the citadel from the terrace. Sannat central to everything... we hired a car and no problem parking outside. Loved the walk to the church and small restaurant area which we ate at every night, very friendly and great food.

Lots of building work going on opposite which meant we couldn't sit out and relax on terrace or by pool because of the noise until after 4pm when they finished.

Beautiful villa in a very quiet location perfect to explore the island from and come back to relax. The breakfast was good and the staff were lovely. Our room on the second floor was huge with beautiful views of the sunset. Keep in mind that the villa is an a very quiet village with only a couple of bars and a couple mini stores so there's nothing really to do there, but that is exactly what we loved. You will reach any other place in the island in 10-20min from there. We will definitely recommend staying here and we will be coming back if we are ever in Gozo again!

Get the Bolt app and order a taxi as it’s efficient and cheaper than the white taxis at the ferry port. Villa Serenity is an impressive, beautiful old villa situated at the top of the village of Sannat where we were greeted warmly by Stefano and Monica. Our spacious room was over looking the pool. Walk into the village for dinner. The Lions Den Restaurant opposite the church is very good. A comprehensive breakfast at Villa Serenity offers fresh fruit, nuts, delicious home made pastries, cakes and quiches etc. Also cooked breakfast; eggs, bacon, tomatoes, beans and sausage served by friendly staff. Stefano and Monica offer a 3hr tour of the many sites on Gozo which we would highly recommend. Places you wouldn’t get to on your own. On returning back to the villa a beautiful garden and pristine pool awaits with sun loungers, tables and chairs. It was simply the best and a huge thank you to two amazing hosts; Stefano and Monica. 5* 🤩
