Great pools! You can stay there all day and never have to leave.

Restaurant is quite expensive and there are very limited restaurants near by.

Our room location with a terrace that led onto the adults only pool. No stairs! Very peaceful and staff attentive and remembered our special dietary needs. Beautiful view and surroundings, which is why we selected the hotel. The food in the main restaurant was excellent and good value. We were on B and B, so paid EU 38 + wine for a 4 course evening meal.

The room was a bit tired and needed upgrading. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. Housekeeping service inconsistent. Lack of plugs ( generally inconvenient locations) beside a mirror to use a hairdryer. The plug for the kettle was under the TV and the kettle did not turn off automatically, so it was a bit dangerous if we had not stood over it. Nowhere to put shower gel or shampoo, as the trays had been broken and not replaced. Breakfast was a bit 'standard' and would have been nice to have a menu/speciality choice.

The setting of Ta Cenc is idyllic if you are looking for tranquility. The outdoor breakfast area set under a magnificent spreading old tree is very special. The warm water indoor/outdoor pool is wonderful

Our room backed onto the spa and was often noisy. If you dont have a car Ta Cenc can feel quite isolated, altho there is an hourly bus service into Victoria. The hotel bar only serves lunch and not at snack food prices, so eating options locally are limited.

Beautiful, peaceful hotel. All rooms and facilities are surrounded by nature. You can truly relax. Some of the hotel rooms are right next to the pool which is very comfortable and convenient to have especially with a baby. Beautiful gardens, and pools, great food!

Unfortunately the hotel feels run down - proper cleaning of rooms needs to be done (our floor was dirty for example) and more investment in maintenance and refurbishment needs to be done to uplift this beautiful hotel such as bathrooms are very out dated.

This Hotel is best in Gozo, the staff are brilliant and can’t be more helpful. We went for my Cousins wedding and it was an absolutely stunning location with in the grounds. The hotel Caters for any family of any age, the adult pool is quiet and away from the children’s pool and perfect drink service around the pool, all the staff work incredibly hard and well together, to keep you refreshed around the pool. Breakfast and evening meals did not once disappoint. Also if you need transfers around Gozo ask at reception for Joey, he was a life saver for last minute early transfer to the ferry. He’s a scholar and a gent! I have already booked my second stay for next year.

The last time I was there it was 2021 which in that time was at urgent need for refurbishment, After 4 years everything has improved immensely, Rooms upgraded a more fresh look, Adult pool re-shaped very beautiful now and in general everywhere was more or less refurbished and The breakfast and Restaurant was super. SPA facilities was excellent

maybe the door entrances into the hotel could be more accessible for wheel chairs or scooters, there was no Bar service around the pools as you had to go to bar to order but then they will bring you the drinks after. Sports channels was lacking in at our room TV which was disappointing. One thing I was disappointed is the gym, opening at 8.00 am is to late for early birds like my self at least 7.00 is more reasonably but on the positive side the SPA opens as well at 8.00 which is very good

Visited for my birthday. The surroundings are amazing, peaceful and quiet. The hotel is beautiful and its location is perfect, away from Malta s chaos. The adults pool is lovely so fresh and beautiful. Breakfast amazing and staff nice too, cant understand other reviews where people state that staff need to smile more. You are all amazing, keep it up please! Oh and thankyou for giving those cats a home but pls leave them bowls with fresh water as they were drinking from the pool :(

Some outdoor furniture needs upgrading, bed wasnt so much comfy as expected and we were assigned a room near the family pool, when we dont have kids. I would have preferred a much quieter room. I had been booked since december so pls when someone like us without kids book a room, try to assign one away from the family pool as we couldnt rest in the afternoon with the kids screaming. Also, pls tell your indian staff to limit curry use at tal Kantra lido as i had a filet steak, was cooked perfectly but covered in curry :(. Pls also add more deckchairs near adults pool as there arent enough!

The indoor outdoor pool is marvellous and the room is tastefully decorated and very accessible. The latter is particularly important since I am mobility impaired.

Access to the buffet style breakfast. I am mobility and visually impaired and it is hard to negotiate the steps in order to help myself to breakfast. Staff were helpful in helping me but a menu from which to choose the breakfast options would have facilitated communication with staff. A ramp was put up during my stay which helped me access one level of the breakfast restaurant however this is not the same as a built-in ramp. I think that having the breakfast laid outdoors on one level ground makes breakfast accessible to everybody. Also the hand rail in the Jacuzzi makes it accessible but the hand rail in the outdoor pool which ends one step short from the ground made it harder for me to negotiate coming out of the pool especially.

I have stayed in Hotel Ta Cenc many times and have so many fond memories.

Unfortunately the Aircon wasn’t working and when I mentioned it to the reception I was told it was still in heating mode. My room was 26 degrees? Also the bathroom sink was leaking and you got to clean your feet at the same time you were cleaning your teeth. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant on Friday night. Was a little shocked to find the Chef Special was Prawns and I am highly Allergic to all Shellfish. Maybe this should be stated on the menu as part of the set menu that it contains prawns.

I have been staying at the hotel for the last 25 years, visiting once or more every year. I wish to highly commend both Luke (at front office, young Maltese man but not sure I got the name right) and veteran David from F&B, for their professionalism, customer focus, and attention to detail. I have significant experience managing business and people for decades so do not take such criticism lightly. They are assets. Saturday night buffer a fantastic idea, with the food and ambience outstanding.

Pillows were very uncomfortable.
