Segond Hotel is a nice place to stay and is moderately priced. The rooftop pool was lovely, everything worked. Bus stop to Ramla Beach and Victoria is just around the corner. Main Church square is just 12-minute walk. Staff was very responsive. Be sure to complete online registration to receive a code to enter the building and get your room assigned.. I saw people outside the hotel that did not know what to do. There are two buildings, BTW.

The number of emails and texts about stay at this hotel was overwhelming to me and at some point I stopped reading them and missed a message about mandatory online registration that must be completed in full in order to receive a code to enter the building and get room assigned. It all worked out in the end. AC was working fine but it was pretty humid in the room.

We returned to this hotel because the first time we went these, we enjoyed ourselves and liked it. Hotel is clean and in a good easy to find location (1st time best use google maps). Room was spacious and it had the A/C on upon arrival which made our check in very pleasant coming from the outside blistering heat. Continental Breakfast was varied and items were fresh.

This time round the only two things i would like to remark about are 1) The reception was never manned throughout the day and therefore if we needed to clarify or raise a query we had to do so via WhatsApp. Even though replies were fast and efficient i think the human element of greeting or of having a face to face discussion is important especially for the older generation who are not IT savvy. 2) the breakfast was good but the sausages and baked beans were never warm. At one point we had to ask to re-heat the items.

The hotel is nice. We liked the numerous tv channels and the bed was comfortable. The view from the terrace was nice and the terrace was rather big. Breakfast was very good and varied. The bread was fantastic.

The sheets were stained. The fridge was in the bathroom on the floor. I think having a 240v socket in the bathroom is even illegal. The bathroom is enormous. Space could have been used much better. We had two supposedly identical rooms, one had a coffee machine whilst the other did not. The layout was not the same either. Our room had a very bad smell of smoke and cigarette buds in the window frame. The pool was in a separate block and no shower or toilet were avail on the same floor.

Room was spacious with a massive comfortable king sized bed. The breakfast was good with a selection of sausages, baked beans, eggs, pastries/cakes, cold cuts and fruit. You can communicate with the hotel through whatsapp and they’re super responsive. The area was nice, walkable to the main square and short Ubers to Victoria and Ramla beach. Something that was greatly appreciated was the presence of water tanks so we could refill our bottles instead of buying new ones.

The reception could have been manned better as it was empty most of the time. Rooms were not the most soundproof as you can hear people entering their rooms.

The hotel is very modern, clean and functional. It is easy to check in online. The breakfast was delicious. The staff in the breakfast area were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cosy and modern. The bathrooms are spacious and the towels are fluffy and nice. Great mattress comfort.

The doors are not very sound proof and I was woken up in the night by sound made by other guests somewhere in the hotel. Whilst the idea of paying by a link sent through WhatsApp seems like a good idea, there were issues with whether it went through or not.

The entire property is very clean and well-kept. Our room was comfortable and suitable for a short weekend break. Breakfast food was also fresh, kept warm, and replaced as soon as an item was almost finished. The pool area was also nice and peaceful. It could use some more greenery in the area to enhance a more relaxing and natural ambiance. And more stable umbrellas would help and they were quite unsteady and one fell on me. Pool was also very clean.

The bedroom was smaller than the pictures shown. Our balcony faced another wall a few meters away - a white-painted wall view can be found anywhere in Malta, but it is definitely not something I want to see on my vacation. The natural light was, however, nice and enjoyable. The breakfast could use some more variety (ex. Another type of eggs, different types of sausages, bacon, hash browns, smoked salmon, mozzarella balls, olives, and grilled mushrooms),

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the facilities were excellent, and everything was spotless. The rooms were extremely comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. It was great value for money, and ideal for a relaxing stay with my partner and family. Despite one minor issue with our rooms not being close together, everything else more than made up for it.

The only downside was that our request for rooms to be close together wasn’t fulfilled, which was a bit disappointing since we were traveling as a family. Also, while the room was generally comfortable, it could have been a little quieter at times.

Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! We had an amazing experience at this hotel. I had asked them just two days before our arrival to decorate our room for our anniversary, and they did a wonderful job—completely free of charge! It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay extra special. The room itself was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a relief in the summer heat. We also had a private pool in our room, and it was exceptionally clean and refreshing. The bathroom was spotless as well. Breakfast was another highlight—there was a great variety of food to choose from, something for everyone’s taste. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel and for sure will visit again next year!

loved the hotel enjoyed the breakfast bus stop very close by our room had a fridge our room had a coffee machine our room had a little balcony but the stools in the room fitted on the balcony so we could have our morning coffee there the bathroom in our room was big nice loungers on the rooftop and towels also provided

the hotel needs a non alcoholic bar and a coffeehouse the roof top pool is abit misleading otherwise would have booked a room with a pool the hotel is in two buildings only one building has a very small roof top pool

This hotel offers all the good things one would look for when on holiday. It is comfortable, modern, attractive, clean, and in a very good location. The breakfast is very good, offering a very tempting variety of warm, cold, savoury, and sweet items. The staff, at breakfast, reception, and in other hotel services, are so gentile and professional and gave us outstanding service and help at all times. It is also a pet friendly hotel, and this obviously tops all the benefits because it gives us the possibility of enjoying a holiday in Gozo. Obviously, it is up to us as clients to have well behaved both children and pets so that we can all enjoy our stay. Thank you so much Miriam and all the reception people as well as the lovely lady who served us at breakfast. Their excellent services are truly appreciated!
