The villa is located on a quiet street. Parking on the street near the entrance. The house has a kitchen, a beautiful swimming pool overlooking nature. We lived on the ground floor in a room with a large sunny terrace. Our shower room has a bathtub. Everything you need is available. We really enjoyed our stay at this place. Tony is a wonderful host, he goes above and beyond for his guests, he is responsive and always ready to help. We recommend this cozy villa and would be happy to return here again. Thank you, Tony !

The villa was amazing. It had everything I expected: a large room with a big bed and super nice large balcony, private bathroom with all amenities and super nice large swimming pool which the guests are allowed to use any time (day or night). The breakfast was also super good and the owner a very nice and helpful guy. It's obvious he cares a lot about the place, his guests and their comfort. Also the exceptional quietness of villa location, which gave me some respite from constant noise and traffic here in Malta. Only the bird noises in the morning, but this is natural, so I enjoyed it too. It was an amazing stay!

Maybe a bit far from the sea and Ramla beach - you need to walk or catch a bus, which is not very frequent or reliable here. But I enjoy walking, so was not a big deal for me.

Location very quite. Parking in front of premises. Large premises with fully operational kitchen and BBQ area. Excellent bathroom and shower. Strong water pressure and to top it all large patio with a good size pool. Strong wi-fi and TV covers channels from all over the world. You will not miss a sporting event. .Close to centre and historic places. The village has an excellent reputation for very good restaurants which need further visits / investigations.

Ta' karkar exceeded our expectations, there is a fantastic view from the swimming pool to enjoy with breakfast, or a bottle of wine in the evening. It was so peaceful so we slept really well. There are regular buses to Victoria and the ferry terminal (via the beach). Tal-Furnar Restaurant (great food and good prices) is within short walking distance. It was exactly what we needed, thank you!

Very good value for money. Good communication from host who was friendly and helpful. Nice view from the back of the property. Basic continental breakfast included _ even provided gluten free bread for me. 5 minutes walk to windmill and temples. There is an outdoor unheated pool but weather too chilly and windy when we were there. Bus stops less than 5 minutes walk. We got a 322 bus straight from ferry terminal. Also took shortish bus ride to Victoria maybe 10 or 15 minutes.

Tranquility ❤️ Tony is the best, helpfull and warm host 👍 We enjoyed our days at Ta' Karkar. Hopefully back to Gozo soon, and we will look so much forward to staying with Tony again. The B&B is a very nice gozonian place with a warm atmosphere. In the morning we shared breakfast with the other guests at Tonys kitchen table. Very cosy and original.

A TRUE GEM - BOOK THIS VILLA NOW!!! TONY is the man!!! He and his staff are super friendly, attentive and accomodating. Variety of options for breakfast. Impeccable view over the hills of Gozo. A serene pool to chillax. Quiet location yet close proximaty (10 mins drive from Mgarr ferry). Ample parking. We initially book to stay for one night, then extended to another, and one week later, we couldn't be happier! Tony was so flexible with our on-the-go spontaneous plan, we got to live in all the rooms and needless to say - enjoyed every one! We've traveled to over 15 countries and lodging like Tony's villa gives us just that unique local feel like we live here in our own neighborhood. BEST PART OF ALL - we came as stranger guests, met some awesome fellow travelers, leave like long-time friends. Thank you Tony for hosting this oasis and sharing of life! We'll be back for sure!

Owner was great and really nice. Position of the house was convenient for us. Swimming pool was really cool and useful for stargazing. Breakfast was good and saved us some valued time later. It's possible to take a walk from the accomodation to one of the nicest beaches on Gozo, and it's also close to Victoria and Citadel.

Nothing, we were overall satisfied

Breakfast was an extensive continental-type - cereals, fruit juices,croissants, ham cheese, toast etc. very good coffee and good choice of teas. Beds were good and extensive. Air conditioning worked. Fantastic, clean, well maintained pool. Tony, the owner, was very friendly, amenable and interesting. The area was really quiet and the room had good views from its own terrace.

The only thing that was slightly puzzling were light switches in the room that didn't seem to do anything.

If you want a 1 day trip to gozo, Ta' Karkar is a nice place to stay in. The villa gives a really authentic vibe, the room was good, comfortable and clean. The host was amazing. He was very welcoming and respectful. The breakfast was nice, with classic choices such as toast and jam, juice, cereals, and croissants. He even let us refill our water bottles. I would go again:)
