We had a wonderful vacation, the hotel is very comfortable and modernly decorated. Srdjan from the reception is very professional, kind and always willing to help. The breakfast is at the level of the best hotels in the world...

One big problem is the spa area inside the hotel. Local people come to the gym and swimming pool, I had to turn around a couple of times and go back to the room with the children. Too many people who are not guests. You need to make an improvement and solve the problem.

Property was excellent, food was divine especially at the terrace/bar and the different pool levels were fantastic! Allowed for peaceful holiday

No toiletries and no tea replacement in the room. Some staff were inexperienced and didn’t handle themselves well (one member sought the need to explain to me what choux pasty should taste like when I didn’t like the dessert and thought it as dry - having eaten it at many Michelin star restaurants).

We loved the 5 star top notch service from an incredible team. From Breakfast, lunch to evening dinner. The helpful team at front desk and also help with our luggage. Nothing was a problem. Such a friendly & helpful crew. Heavenly beds, soft pillows, pillow scent to ease your mind. Toiletries in both bathrooms from dental kits to cotton pads and buds.. Ideally situated also. Walking distance to Portomaso and Spinola Bay. Beautiful outdoor heated pool. Gym, spa. Various restaurants. Quadro & Palios. Incredible sea views from.our room. Beautiful patio furniture. We stayed in 4400 middle Bay suites. This Hotel has it all.

Hotel was exactly as we expected.. So clean and comfortable. The staff were so accomating and friendly. Breakfast was exceptional with its vast choices and great service Well done Dagonara Westin

Didnt like no direct access to indoor pool but had to walk through workout area in fitness club

The Staff made this Hotel. Well trained, polite, helpful and actively spoke to guests around the public areas. The food was delicious in all outlets. The hotel itself is very nice. Being Christmas around our stay , it was Tastefully decorated. The New Years Eve Gala was fantastic.

The noise insulation between rooms, especially where inter connecting doors are in the rooms, is poor. We had booked 2 rooms, and we requested to move from them. The staff were great dealing with this request. Once we were moved, it was much better and we all slept well. The Hotel grounds are impressive , but the immediate surroundings outside the grounds are not so appealing , buildings are not maintained and look un kept. Just my observations , but felt perfectly safe at all times.

I liked the management team here, especially Sunny and also Victor was amazing . Overall these two guys really hold up the reputation of the hotel exceptionally well and probably will be the reason why I revisit. The hotel was exceptional really good for Malta. Also the guy at the omelette stand that has a beard he was really nice and polite too. In general most the staff at every nice and helpful. The amenities are amazing and they always try their best to help. The door men are super friendly. The best part of this hotel is that the food is Halal and don’t waste time eating out as the hotel food is very nice and much better then eating outside. We tried top restaurants outside but the Hotel food was far far superior quality and much better. Room cleaning was awesome and the guy from Pakistan that cleaned our room a young chap did an awesome job as always. Not sure if it’s anything but the Indian and Pakistani staff were just totally fast, responsive and attentive and also Victor was the kindest person on earth. All in all - Sunny, Victor , Doormen , and Beard guy who makes the omelette are great role models.

What I didn’t like was that, some of the waiters seemed either new or they forget things like when you ask for coffee at breakfast and the waiter staff need reminding. Also at times the dinner at the lobby can take up to 40 minutes to arrive which is slightly long and should be shorter. They should also make the effort to tell you at the time of ordering. The waiter staff seem to me the biggest opportunity to improve and seemed very rushed of their feet. If the waiter staff are trained better then this hotel is very superior in every Angle. This is just a small area of improvement needed

The variety of breakfast was the most I have ever experienced.

We did not sleep a wink one night due to cleaners cleaning the gym, underneath our bedroom. We were not sure what the non stop constant noise was and assumed it was in another bedroom, but when we complained in the morning we discovered that the gym was having a deep clean. We were not happy that if they had known that was booked in, why book that bedroom directly above! when the hotel was not full. We had a premium deluxe room as well. We were offered a bottle of wine but felt that was a very poor substitute and will make a complaint direct to the hotel in writing.

We absolutely loved every moment of our stay—from the moment we arrived until the day we left! We stayed in the Tower Room and couldn’t be happier with our choice—the views were simply stunning. What truly made our experience special was the amazing staff. Every team member we encountered greeted us warmly and made us feel so welcome. A special shoutout to Heena by the poolside—thank you for taking the time to chat with us and make us feel at home! Breakfast was outstanding. The service was prompt and attentive—plates were cleared immediately, and staff were always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The variety at breakfast was one of the best we’ve seen, and everything was delicious. A big thank you to the chef at the omelette station—when I asked for poached eggs, he kindly reminded me it’s best to avoid them while pregnant. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot and showed how much care the staff puts into their service. The hotel itself was spotless, and every area impressed us. We’d happily stay here again and again. It’s the perfect spot for everyone—whether you’re traveling with friends, family, or for business. Our room was cleaned daily, with everything replenished as needed. We also loved the heated front pool—it was such a fun spot to relax, and again, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Truly a fantastic stay all around!

If I had to point out anything that could be improved, it would be the pool at the back of the property—I believe it’s called the Reef Side Pool. While it’s absolutely beautiful and offers stunning views, the water was very cold, which made it hard to enjoy. It would be amazing if this pool could be heated as well. Also, on one occasion, when our room was cleaned while we were out, the door was accidentally left open. Thankfully, nothing was missing, but it was a bit unsettling to return and find the door ajar. We reported it to reception, and they said they would inform management. However, we didn’t hear anything further, which was a little disappointing as we hoped there might be some follow-up or acknowledgment of the incident.

As a family, we enjoyed the help of the staff as they helped us with my husband's surprise birthday. It was a great stay everything was immaculate one of the most hygienic places I've been to. There were many spectacular facilities such as restaurants, pools, trip planning and service. The rooms have private jacuzzis and in the evening it was a breathtaking experience as the sun set. As we planned this trip as a birthday the hotel staff even surprised us with a cake and card to wish to my husband. Room service was fantastic. ***A special mention to such a wonderful person Mr George who helped organise an incredible place to celebrate my husband's birthday. We can't wait to go again!

We loved everything

Gorgeous property in a lovely location. Every member of staff we encountered were exceptional. So attentive and genuine. The food and drinks were unbelievable for a hotel. Palio’s was my favourite restaurant, we dined there 3 times! Everyone at the main bar were exceptional contact makers. Honestly can’t rave about this place enough. Highly recommend The Westin.

Would have liked to have seen a bigger spa offering. Sun loungers are too close together. I like a bit of space and don’t want to feel people are on top of me.
