My experience at this hostel was fantastic. The staff was very kind and always willing to help with anything you needed – it truly feels like home. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the room was comfortable and quiet. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything. Plus, the atmosphere was very pleasant, ideal for meeting other travelers. I’ll definitely be back! I would especially like to thank Carlos, who helped me throughout the entire process and answered all my questions with patience. Thanks to him, the whole experience was even better. Absolutely recommend Bookarest Hostel! I initially planned to stay for just one week, but I ended up staying a whole month, that says it all! The facilities are super comfortable and always clean, with great lighting throughout. There's a cozy common area where you can watch movies and connect with other travelers, plus several fridges and hot showers available at all times. But what truly makes the difference is the staff. A huge thank you to Carlos, Felipe, and Rachel for their amazing support and good vibes. I genuinely recommend this place to anyone visiting. You’re going to love it!

Receptionist Carlos was super nice and friendly, he made sure I had everything I needed for my stay! Overall a positive experience. The hostel is in a strategic area, close to shops, clinic, pharmacy, mercury tower mall, paceville, bus stops. The hostel has a kitchen and a terrace with a nice view.

It was a good stay for that price so I can’t really complain for a hostel

it has individual power points at every bed (british plug), you get a locker with a key provided, a towel is provided, the bed was comortable enough, airconditioned rooms, bathrooms were cleaned quite often, kitchen looked clean and modern although i didn't use it because the location is so close to restaurants and cafés. There was also a living room with a big TV.

I was never told that the deposit was 20 euros. Luckily there is an ATM next door at the bar. I would advise other travellers to bring this cash ahead of time as the ATM is private (charges extra fees). I do need to mention that the accomodation charges a surcharge for paying the deposit and city tax by card, which is actually *illegal* in the European Union and should not cost extra. I understand it's just a few cents but it's illegal. It's a bit of a party hostel and most visitors are in groups, so if you're looking for a relaxed surroundings maybe stay in a different district.

Friendly, helpful, open and talkative staff. Had some good conversations in the evening. Place was kept very clean. Thought there would be many young party animals who would come back late and make a noise but didn't see any. Guests were considerate towards one another, and most went to bed quite early. Didn't think it was noisy in the evening as others have mentioned. You could hear heavy machinery from a nearby construction site in the morning but that's temporary.

Wish there were bedside lamps. Only lamp was a ceiling light. Thought I would cook dinner most days but kitchen was a bit crowded so ended up going out. Some guests were snoring a lot :)

Every single thing I like in this property. The behavior of the staff and the owner as well. I was late and worried that what I will do butt they never left me alone the road they wait for their customers and give them 10/10 hospitality services. Washroom was clean AC was working Rooms are so clean And behaviour is outstanding I always recommend this hostel to everyone and whenever I will come I will always book this place in Malta forever 👍

Everything. AC was strong, location was perfect, I never had to wait too long for a shower, staff were the best. For getting right in the middle of a party area, the hostel itself was really quiet. Also they changed the sheets every few days which I've NEVER experienced in a hostel, so that was great. The room never got that "there are six sweaty boys who sweat all day and party all night and don't shower enough" smell like hostels often get.

Nothing really. The AC in the common room got a little too cold in the evenings but you can't complain about that at all, it's so much better than not being cold enough!

It was my second time in this hostel and I'm gonna come back soon. Friendly staff, clean accommodation, comfortable beds, new bathrooms (you don't feel disgustied), next to Paceville (clubs and pubs area) and casino. You can get here in 40 mins from the airport by public transport.

Great location

For the whole week I was there so from 11th-17th May, they had 2 of the 4 showers out as stated there was no hot water and one day there was a issue with electricity so was unable to charge phone or use the lights until the issue was resolved.

Good location for anyone who wants to be walking distance to bars, clubs, restaurants, etc. Also, very close to bus stops for buses all over the island. Harbour a few mins walk away. Beds were comfortable, and hostel was clean. Staff were nice and helpful. Lockers with keys for your belongings.

A little noisy from bar downstairs. Not a big problem for me, but if you want a good sleep or go to bed a bit earlier, then just know that the music downstairs can be pretty loud. Ladies' bathroom/shower room on top floor was way too hot! It's nice, and it's clean but just too stuffy in hot weather with no air con or fan. Only other thing I didn't like was that there were a few big cockroaches in hostel! They scare me, so put me a bit on edge!
