I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel due to its excellent location, close to shops, restaurants, and beaches, as well as being very near the capital. The breakfast offered a good variety and was quite tasty.

However, there were some downsides. The noise from the street at night was bothersome, and the housekeeping staff did not change the bed linens during our 8-day stay. Additionally, there was quite a bit of dust in the room, and our glasses were not replaced.

The double bed was actually two single bed mattresses covered with a double bed blanket and I hate that ! Wifi was also very weak.

Breakfast is really poor - bread, some veggies, cheese and ham, hard boiled eggs and beans. If I go next time, I won't choose option with breakfast. Nearby there are so many nice cafes serving good coffee and pastries

Very well located, a 5 minutes walk away or less to the main attractions in St Julian. The women working at the reception were very nice and accommodating. We could leave our luggage before the check-in and we were provided with takeaway breakfast for our early check-out. Breakfast onsite was buffet style and varied (toast, fruit, cereal, English breakfast, yoghurt etc). The room was clean and socket adapters were provided. We got a room facing an inner patio, which was great to avoid the noise of the main street.

They convert a double room into a triple room by extending the sofa bed. However, the sofa bed mattress is not comfortable. The bathroom shower had black mold growing in the lower tiles joints and the extractor fan didn't work. The elevator needs to be checked: oftentimes the doors kept closing and opening before the elevator started finally moving and we heard from other guests that they were shortly trapped once.

Great penthouse room with views over Spinola and beyond with large terrace . Very clean . Breakfast very good/ lots of choices . Lift access . Staff all very lovely. Safe area near harbour and bus stops . Air con / heater worked well. Plenty of towels/ range of toiletries. Great value for money.

Minor niggles. Terrace in 3 inches of water 24 hrs after rain so couldn't use as hadn't drained . Only decaf coffee sachets. Promised advertised free water 500mls not in room, so had to go out for some. Nespresso type coffee machine but no capsules , had to be purchased from reception at 1 euro each. Would suggest removing Nespresso machine if not providing any caps. And caffeinated coffee sachets please! 24 hrs bar across road on corner. but wasn't disturbed by noise. Lots of building going on in vicinity.

I like the location of this hotel as it is right on the main road in St Julians so ideal for accessing the bus routes, and is near to shops & many cafes/restaurants for convenience. It is also near Spinola Bay & an easy walk along Sliema Promenade for those who like an evening stroll. The rooms are very clean and the bed comfortable. I liked the shower to as it was powerful with plenty of hot water. Enjoyable, comfortable stay.

The hotel only provides 1 bath towel per person which whilst not the most convenient (i prefer a separate towel to wrap up my hair) is manageable. However, i really think a hand towel for the bathroom should be provided. I wash my hands a lot when on holidays and it was an inconvenience not to have a hand towel & i would never have thought to bring my own. The only other improvements i can think would be an airer for the balcony & some minor maintenance to the room (eg hanger on back of bathroom door was broken, one of the electricity sockets in the room had damage, tv remote control sticking - may have needed new batteries, & air con not working well - might need a service). None of these things will stop me from returning but would definitely improve the experience.

Breakfast was ample but did not suit someone keen on healthy eating (eg, avoiding sugar, white bread, processed meats). I stuck to the occasional apple and dried fruit and boiled egg plus coffee. Otherwise my room was clean, comfortable, and quiet apart from the construction across the street - not within the hotel's control. Good shower. Bring a flat plug for the sink.

The green light (WiFi?) was very annoying. I needed eye shades to sleep.

I would like to leave a positive review for my stay at the hotel. The rooms were nice, spacious, and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment throughout my stay. The amenities were excellent, and I especially appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Their friendliness and willingness to assist with any request made me feel truly welcomed. In particular, I want to highlight their exceptional support during a force majeure situation when I urgently needed a taxi. The staff promptly and efficiently arranged transportation, alleviating a lot of stress and ensuring I could reach my destination on time. Overall, my stay was delightful, and I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and hospitality.

The staff went above and beyond every time we spoke with someone. The team at the front desk were kind and welcoming upon arrival. We had an issue with our room (nobody’s fault these things happen) and within the hour we had been moved and everything was perfect again. I have the manager to thank for this. Special thanks to Martin who we will never ever forget. It was a privilege to meet him every morning at breakfast. He is such a great character and we are so grateful to have met someone so good at their job and cheerful on our travels. He is a ray of sunshine. Other than this, the rooms were very clean and well maintained by housekeeping each day. The location was fantastic. Food was also great at breakfast, I cannot understand any negative reviews about breakfast as there was such good option. By partner is a coeliac and they catered for him every day.

Sometimes the lift was a bit temperamental.

The location is very good having everything around. The bus station is across the street.

The breakfast is very limited and the same every day. Although we had a request to have a room not facing the street (noisy and not able to sleep very well), it wasn't possible. After talking to the receptionist upon arrival, we've faced a total rejection, even for 1 day from a week. The Reception staff are teenagers and don't really understand the (extra) customer service. Other than that we liked Malta! A bit expensive but worth visiting.
