We recently stayed at the Ivy Hotel in St. Julian’s, Malta, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, and every detail of our stay exceeded expectations. The location is perfect—situated in the heart of St. Julian’s, it’s close to everything we needed, from restaurants and bars to scenic coastal walks. Despite being in such a lively area, the hotel offers a quiet, peaceful environment, allowing us to fully relax. Our room was modern with balcony view, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed, offering all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, too! The breakfast was included in our stay and it was varied and delicious, offering a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and local delicacies, alongside hot options like eggs and bacon. Whether we wanted a hearty meal or something lighter, there was always plenty to choose from, and the quality of the food was excellent. The staff at Ivy Hotel were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout our stay. They were always available to assist with any queries or requests, making us feel truly valued as guests. In summary, our week at Ivy Hotel was fantastic—comfortable, well-located, and with outstanding service. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting St. Julian’s, whether for leisure or business.

Room was large in comparison to many hotels. Bathroom is large, with a good shower. Although the balcony looks over roof tops, it is a good size and an excellent facility. Hotel is a hidden gem, up a side street, but still handy for buses. 2 minutes walk to the stop to take you into Valetta. Less than 1 minute's walk there is a bus taking 1 hour to the ferry to Gozo. Breakfast has an excellent choice of hot and cold. Highly recommend this hotel.

The toilet seat was loose but useable. The plug in the basin didn't operate properly. I reported it in our first day, but no repairs were done during our stay. This is a minor issue, but I offer this as a constructive comment.

A Fantastic Stay at Ivy Hotel, Malta I had an amazing experience staying at Ivy Hotel in Malta! The hotel's location is perfect – it's conveniently close to a bus stop, making it easy to explore the island. The room was exceptionally spacious and spotlessly clean. I was impressed by the daily housekeeping service, ensuring everything remained fresh throughout my stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing restful nights after long days of sightseeing. I highly recommend Ivy Hotel to anyone visiting Malta. It's a wonderful place to stay, offering both comfort and convenience!

The only small suggestion I have is that the breakfast could offer a bit more variety, especially more vegetables.

The location was great. Exactly at the centre and close to everything. The receptionist was immensely polite and helpful.

I needed to put the WiFi password again and again because it kept logging out every time I locked the phone screen which was very inconvenient. Also, choosing an adult only hotel means you prioritise peace and relaxation which we didn’t find very much because there was a lot of noise from the other rooms till the first am hours. (I think there was a young athlete team). Finally, the worst thing is that the cleaning assistants were literally yelling and laughing loud while cleaning the other rooms on the floor and woke us up at 9am. I had to walk outside and ask them to be more silent.

Friendly staff,nice location,close to the center

During my stay we had some specific situation which hotel solved fast without some bad moments. But receptionist should in future control better who is entering in the hotel,especially when somebody has not room in it because that can ruin safety from other guests. I payed room in hotel where I expect safety first,that i can sleep calm, without people on my floor which make noise and are agressive to another people without purpose. Hotel manager is very good because she solved problem very fast and she was calm and gave to us great solution. But receptionist should take care better in future about strangers in the hotel in which they dont stay.

Super cosy bed, clean and modern decor and great amenities. Just off the busy main road so a little quieter. Just minutes away from restaurants, supermarkets and shopping areas. Breakfast was very lovely, nice variety. Staff were very friendly and helpful (shout out to Juan 🙂🖐🏻 always smiling) Would definitely stay again, really enjoyed my stay.

The room layout/shape was a little unusual and I caught my hip between the bed and desk corner a couple of times due to lack of space and ended up with bruises... maybe move the bed a couple of ft towards the balcony. (Room 103)

The room was big, clean, with great natural light (the blackout curtains also worked great for sleeping in). Very close to loads of restaurants, shops, clubs, and one of the best beaches on Malta, yet you couldn't hear any of the noise in the room. The balcony view overlooks other naboring buildings, not the best, not the worst. The bed was large and comfortable. The cleaners changed towels and cleaned daily and were very friendly like all the rest of the staff. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and fast, even at nighttime hours, without any extra fees.

The shower is quite small. If you're over 6 feet, you'll struggle. The elevators vere pretty slow, and one of them was out of order several times during our stay. For a hotel so close to clubs and bars, the breakfast buffet could have longer hours (we were told 7-10) to accommodate sleeping in longer. The buffet itself was okay, but it could be more varied.

The location was perfect for me. I was in Malta to have some meetings at the University of Malta. I was easily able to reach the campus as well as the popular places such as Sliema, Valletta, Mdina and the airport of course. I could find many different options for food around and a supermarket, which were important for me. Also, the staff was very helpful. I arrived at the hotel very early and they helped me check in before the normal check in time.

Some of the things could have been more practical. For instance, in the shower there was not a shelf to put your stuff. Also, you may want to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. since the one at the hotel was a liquid for both body and hair. I am not sure if it is a good one. And you should bring your slippers if you want to be more comfortable at the room.

Good location and receptionists were nice. The night receptionist boy from Serbia was very helpful and kind! Confi bed and daily cleaning and towels were changed daily. Basic toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was okay, you can alwasy choose something for breakfast that you like.

Refrigerator did not cool properly. The lady in black dressed, who looked like a manager of some sort, had very little hospitality skills. He couldn't even say hello or she did't even have a question for the gests or just a smile. The shower tray is a bit small.

We arrived to the hotel early in the morning just to drop our luggages but much to our surprise, the hotel let us check-in to one of the booked rooms, that was more than appreciated :) Perfect staff! Hotel is brand new, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped. There is a kettle to make tea&coffee. Excellent breakfast, wide range of foods, good coffee + the lady working at the breakfast room is very kind and helpful. Good location, bus stop are very close (Ross station at the corner, San Giljan a few minutes walk) so it's convenient to catch buses to everywhere, incl. airport. We really enjoyed our stay, we would book the same hotel again!
