We loved the hotel! The attention to detail and the level of service were fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were well taken care of! We were even given the opportunity to choose our room. Although they probably can't do this every time, as we were lucky to arrive late, and no one else was checking in. A special thank you to Francesco and colleague (unfortunately, I don't remember his name) for taking such good care of us. Everything about the hotel impressed us, right down to the luxuriously large, fluffy bath towels. Breakfast was fabulous and the hotel itself is stunning. I was worried because in the reviews it said that the pool is shaded by 4 pm, which is the case, but if you want more pool time, you can simply go to the second pool which has sun for longer. And what was also great, even though it was July, there was always a free cabana, no matter what time of day we got to the pool. It's not the type of demographic that wakes up at the crack of dawn to reserve their spot for the whole day. The views are amazing and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. We were touched that the hotel surprised my boyfriend for his birthday with a bottle of bubbly and a slice of chocolate cake, which was elegantly presented. It also has an impressive fitness center, packed with all of the equipment! We were there for 8 days and loved it. The only minor drawback for us is that it's in St Julian's which is very crowded and lively at night with the younger crowd. However, the rooms are well soundproofed and it's a great location to be able to access all parts of the island. We would definitely stay there again and it will be hard to find another hotel that can beat the experience we had at ME.

Wonderful experience, probably one of the best hotel i've ever spent my vacation. Me and my girlfriend were absolutely stunned by the quality of services (inside pool and restaurant were absolutely amazing), the beauty and elegance of the room and the kindness of the staff. In addition to that, at first we had some troubles with the booking, the administration was extremely collaborative (which is something really rare nowadays). Key elements were also comfy bed and the woundrous choice of light disposition. Best feature for sure was the paccheri dipped in duck sauce we ate last dinner, unforgettable 🏆 Despite the rainy days we got an EXCELLENT experience, even if i'm pretty young, i'm sure it will.be difficult to beat this level of quality. (One advice, try the pillow menu for your best sleep, we discovered it unfortunately too late, it's my only regret)

It’s clear that a woman designed this space, as every detail exudes warm elegance and sophistication. The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming, and the breathtaking views add to the magic. Service – Hospitality at Its Finest From check-in to check-out, the service is impeccable. Next-Level Concierge Service The concierge team is exceptional—modern, proactive, and incredibly helpful. You can contact them via WhatsApp for anything, from restaurant recommendations to reservations, making everything seamless. I have experienced many concierge services, but this one truly stands out in efficiency, friendliness, and modernity. A Special Thank You – Above & Beyond Service I had an issue with mx transfer to the next destination and ME Malta went above and beyond to assist me, ensuring I was taken care of—especially on my birthday. Their kindness and professionalism made all the difference, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. Facilities – Absolutely Spectacular Even though some areas are still being developed, what is already in place is next-level: • Spa & Wellness: The design is stunning, and the experience is elevated by the team, especially Sophia, who coordinates everything flawlessly. The massages are truly relaxing. • Pool Area: Simply beautiful, with top-notch service. • Breakfast: À la carte perfection—every dish was fresh and delicious. Room for Improvement Final Verdict – A Hotel with Heart & Excellence While the design and facilities are spectacular, what truly makes ME Malta special is the warmth and friendliness of the team—from the concierge to the front desk to room service, everyone embodies true hospitality.

The only small downside was dinner: the pasta was slightly cold, and the fries were deep-fried a bit too much. So, one minor deduction for food quality.

This property is under a year old and has a cool modern vibe.The rooms were lovely and choice of restaurants great. The pool area was very comfortable particularly the sun beds.Staff were extremely friendly and always had time for a chat.Guest relations were super and surprised us with a chocolate cake and bottle of Prosecco.The Spa and Gym facilities were excellent too.We would definitely return to this hotel.

So the good thing about this hotel is its convenient position however for some this is a drawback as this means you are surrounded by cranes and building work and very loud music on some nights. The hotel needs to decide what group they are catering for. I personally think it’s ideal for the young/young at heart and business people. One suggestion that could be taken on board is that the music round the pool should be more mellow instead of the boom boom beat that was on all the songs.Something more similar to the music played in the breakfast restaurant that would appeal to a wider range of guests.

ME Malta by Meliá did an excellent job reflecting the fluid, modern style of Mercury Towers, one of the final projects personally approved by Zaha Hadid. The pastel colors, perfectly combined with carefully selected furniture, evoke a sense of serenity and gentle warmth. The personalized welcome details from the hotel staff set the tone for an unforgettable experience, which continued throughout the stay with complimentary Nespresso coffee capsules, glass-bottled water, and chocolate cubes. The garment steamer, hair dryer and hair iron are new and work very well. Despite being used by guests, they are spotlessly clean and I hope it stays that way :) The cleanliness of this hotel is exceptional across all facilities, which is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodations. The spa center, featuring a cave-like indoor pool, is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The outdoor pool decks overlooking the sea are also stunning, although it can be quite windy at times. The room was spacious, with a large balcony furnished with clean, new pieces and offering a lovely view. All staff members were very attentive and polite, especially AURA Manager Paula Sardon, who was genuinely interested in hearing my feedback to help elevate the experience for future guests. I look forward to coming again and staying at other hotels in the ME by Meliá chain in the future.

Although stylish, the open bathroom layout may feel a bit lacking in privacy, which could be challenging for business travelers sharing a room.

The property was extremely clean and modern. Decor was nice. The balcony was huge, wrapped around the whole room. Staff were very friendly and polite. We had drinks on the rooftop at sunset which was lovely. We had a couples massage which we both enjoyed, spa was nice but just to be mindful that the indoor pool is used by all hotel guests. Close proximity to restaurants and shops. Overall I’d highly recommend this property.

Not a problem for us but just to be mindful that there isn’t a separate bathroom, it is incorporated into the room. It is in the very heart of St Julian’s, so if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and tucked away, this isn’t the property for you.

Hotel Review – ME by Meliá Malta My stay at ME by Meliá Malta was nothing short of exceptional. I’ve always admired the ME by Meliá brand, but this hotel stands out even among its peers. The design is ultra-modern, luxurious, and visually stunning – every detail is thoughtfully crafted. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the amazing staff – incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. They made me feel welcome from the very first moment. And the food? Absolutely divine. Every meal was a blend of elegance and flavor, with high-quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, everything felt like a fine-dining experience. If you’re looking for a destination that combines style, comfort, exquisite cuisine, and top-tier service, ME Malta is an unforgettable choice. I highly recommend it for anyone who values beauty, sophistication, and truly memorable travel experiences.

We had the most wonderful stay at the ME Malta hotel. Maris and her team took such meticulous care of us throughout our getaway—a truly luxurious interlude for a special occasion. The breakfast was delicious, the suites are tastefully decorated with fine materials, and the sea view is well worth it. But what really won us over was the spa, and the indoor pool is breathtakingly beautiful. In short, we will definitely be back regularly at this hotel. Thank you again.

The only thing we didn't like was not the hotel's fault. We could hear loud music coming from Paceville to the point that we couldn't sleep, but fortunately the music stopped between 11 p.m. and midnight.

The hotel is brand new and only partially open. The staff are excellent and can't do enough for you. There is currently a small outside pool on the 8th floor but the real gem (which you can hardly find a picture of on the website) is the cave pool 3 levels below the street in the hotel spa, which is much bigger than you would expect. Lots of hotels have nice little spas but this is huge and the pool is in a limestone cave and about 20m long of which 15m is swimmable. Functioning jets and fountains too. Really special if you can find a time to be there alone. Wonderful and unique as far as I know in Malta.

New hotels in Malta (of which there are ever more) can only really be built in the construction site that is the East of the island anyway. This one is in the middle of Paceville which is always super noisy and super overcrowded. Sea view rooms have to look out over all the other buildings which are nearer the sea. If you want something connected to the sea (which, for me, is kind of the point in Malta) then you have to go to the luxury hotels built on the coast 20-30 yrs ago. Finally, the rooms have open bathrooms (an unfortunate trend of recent years). I remain mystified by what value intimate knowledge of one's roommate's ablutional practices is supposed to bring to the holiday experience.

ME Malta is truly something special! From the moment I arrived, the receptionists and staff made me feel like royalty! so warm, so professional, and always a step ahead in ensuring my comfort. The breathtaking views from the hotel are unmatched, and the entire experience feels like a 5-star retreat in the sky. The pools? Absolutely mesmerizing. The outdoor swimming areas are stunning, but the indoor pool—wow! It has such a dreamy, intimate vibe, full of character, making it one of the most unique spots I've ever experienced. I was so overwhelmed by how incredible my stay was that I almost extended it for a few extra nights. ME Malta has completely changed how I see travelling. It’s not just a hotel—it’s an experience, a feeling, a memory that stays with you. The definition of luxury. ME has my heart! ❤️
