The owner is very nice and helpful, the room was spotless . Everything was excellent. Every time when we arrive in Malta this is the place where we will stay. I recommend this hotel for future stays . Thanks !

First of all, it was very clean, my girlfriend and I were very satisfied with how nice the maids were, we always washed our dishes before going out for a walk and one day we forgot and when we came back they were even washed. The towels and everything else we were asked every day if we wanted them to be replaced with new ones and it was always cleaned and everything was in place. About facilities, yes there's everything that is mentioned. It is a very safe place to stay regarding expensive jewelry, money, etc. I also want to thank you for the EARLY CHECK-IN, and for allowing us to leave our luggage after check-out so that we could walk around and enjoy our last moments in Malta. Also, thanks Luke for letting me surprise my girlfriend for her birthday. It was very good, it was very clean, the maids were very nice as well as the people at the reception. If you book this place, you won't regret it. Highly recommended. Thanks for everything again, see you next year, same room 701, please.

Both the room and bathroom are spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable and there are supermarkets nearby. We didn't have a view from the small balcony but there was plenty of light in the room. The location is very nice because it is super close to a bus station that connects it to Valetta, Rabat and Airport. Even though the area is lively at night, we didn't have issues sleeping. You can here the sounds coming from the hallway though. The shared laundry was useful and also the dishwasher was welcomed.

The bathroom could use some hangers. Because there are none, it is very hard to dry the towels or to hang the clothes while showering. There is no one at the reception. However if you need anything you just have to write on Booking chat with them and they respond very quickly. I asked for someone to come at the reception so that we can pay the city tax and someone came in 5 minutes maximum.

The location is great with a pleasant environment and lots of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The rooms are clean and spacious and have a fully equipped kitchen.

Communication with the staff could be better. It was self Check-in and check-out, using an access code sent to guests. There is no one at the reception and I couldn't tell if the people walked arround are guests or staff, you have to contact the owner's phone if necessary. There was a disappointing disregard and lack of response to the message we sent asking to extend the check-out time a little longer. To be fair, there was a quick response on WhatsApp when we contacted about a power outage in the room and the problem was quickly fixed remotely.

My first impression when we entered the room was how fresh and new everything was. I've been to countless apartment-hotels where the wear and tear is shown. Every single item in the kitchen felt brand new and clean, it had an oven, stove, kettle, toaster, anything you'd need, a great, full size fridge and freezer. Fantastic water pressure (that's not always a guarantee in Malta) and even Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom. The owner as well as well as the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The location is fantastic. You have convenience stores, coffee places, a bus stop (where most buses stops) just a few steps from the door, and just a few minutes to the bay where you have all the restaurants, cafes and the gorgeous scenery. It is a very safe neighborhood as well. I will definitely book this again when we come back and have honestly already recommended it to a few friends that are regularly visiting Malta.

The balcony was tiny and more like a window, but that was literally my only concern.

The hotel is located in a quiet side street, just a few minutes from the beach. Everything is modern and very clean. Upon arrival, while our room was being prepared, we could store our luggages in the hotel's luggage room. The owner and the staff are very kind and attentive to every small detail. I always received very quick responses for my messages and questions. The room looks exactly like it's in the pictures on Booking.com. The room was very clean, and the bed linens were fragrant. The kitchen was very well equipped. Towels were changed daily, the room was tidied, and the trash was taken out. I’m glad I chose this hotel. Thank you for everything!

Location: Right in the middle of St. Giljan, with buses to all relevant destinations within 1-2 min walk. Close to nice restaurants and bars/nightlife, but without the noise pollution. Room: Spacious, modern and with all necessities covered. Highlight for us was the built in speaker in the bathroom! Cooking your own meals is possible as well. Bed: Beds are nice and sleep comfortably. Host: Luke is very friendly and helpful. Has good recommendations for things to do, and how to do them. It's a new hotel with not that many reviews, but we are very happy we took the chance anyway. We would stay here again. Take the boattour!

An extra pan for cooking would make more dishes possible. The pillows could have been better, but that's personal preference.

He organized an incredible trip to Gozo and Comino, which was a highlight of our vacation. His hospitality truly made a difference. Every day, we returned to our apartment to find the kitchen impeccably cleaned, and even the dishes we might have overlooked were taken care of. The room and bathroom maintained their pristine condition throughout our stay, making us feel like we were in a brand-new space every time we returned. We had a wonderful time at The Balcony Hotel and will definitely be back. We wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and accommodating stay in Malta!

We would recommend staying in this hotel! The room was spacious and clean and kitchen is fully equipped. There is a big TV with Netflix and bluetooth in the toilet so you can play music and start your day on a positive note! Hotel is 1 minute walk from the bus station, there is many restaurants in the near area as well as stores that work 0-24. The hosts were great and made us feel welcome, we asked for a hair dryer and in 5 minutes someone was at our door with it! Our room was cleaned everyday with new towels. After the check out you can leave your luggage until its time to leave gor the airport.

The hotel is in a great location if you are interested in going out. It is close to shops and the bus stop. We are very satisfied with the service, they welcomed us late at night, explained everything we needed. They changed the towels, made the beds and tidied up the room every day. It is equipped with everything, everything needed was there. For a long time I did not see that there was a first aid kit in the room. Iron, hair dryer, ironing board. Everything was prepared for us. I really liked that the unlocking of the room was with a code, that I didn't have to think about the key or the card for the room. The air conditioner worked and after locking the room, we did not pay extra or were limited in using it. All praises, everything is the same as in the pictures, but everything. if I come to Malta again, this will be my choice of hotel again.
