Belcony Hotel exceeded our expectations! The room was spacious, clean, and carefully tidied up every day, with a large bathroom, comfortable bed, full equipment (even separate washing and drying machine in each floor), kitchen and a lovely little balcony. The owner Luke is truly amazing – friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. From the very first moment, we felt welcome and had no issues whatsoever. The hotel is in a perfect central location in St. Julian’s, right next to the 24/7 grocery store (Spar) with great prices, very convenient! Air conditioning in the room made our stay super comfortable during hot days. Luke, especially thank you for giving us a late check-out, it made our last day and night flight home much much much easier and enjoyable. Everything was simply excellent, and we wholeheartedly recommend Balcony Hotel to anyone looking for a 10/10 TOP stay in Malta. Without a doubt we’d choose this hotel again!

I stayed at the Balcony Hotel for three weeks and felt very comfortable throughout my stay. The aparthotel is extremely centrally located – there’s a bus stop nearby as well as several shops and supermarkets. Many places can easily be reached on foot, which I found very convenient. Because of the central location, it can sometimes be a bit lively in the area, but that didn’t bother me personally. On the contrary, I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere without it being overwhelming. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I always felt well looked after. While the hotel itself isn’t particularly fancy or luxurious, it is very comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. There are also plenty of nice cafés and breakfast spots in the surrounding area. Overall, I had a great experience and can definitely recommend the Balcony Hotel to anyone looking for a central, uncomplicated, and cozy place to stay.

I recently stayed at the Balcony Hotel in St. Julian’s, and I can honestly say it was one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had while traveling. From start to finish, everything about this place made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely happy. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. It’s right in the heart of St. Julian’s, close to everything – shops, restaurants, beaches, nightlife – yet it’s peaceful and quiet when you’re inside. You can explore the town on foot and still return to a calm and relaxing atmosphere at the end of the day. One of the highlights for me was the room itself, especially the bathroom, which was surprisingly large and very clean. The space felt bright, modern, and well taken care of, and it had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I also appreciated the option to cook my own meals – the setup was practical and made me feel right at home. What truly stood out, though, was the staff, especially the owner/manager. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my entire stay. You can really feel that the people here care about their guests. Every interaction was warm and genuine, and that made a huge difference in how enjoyable the experience was. It’s rare to feel this kind of hospitality – personal, friendly, and honest. All in all, I’m just extremely grateful. Staying at the Balcony Hotel made my time in St. Julian’s even more special. I left feeling relaxed, recharged, and genuinely happy. First of all, it was very clean, my girlfriend and I were very satisfied with how nice the maids were, we always washed our dishes before going out for a walk and one day we forgot and when we came back they were even washed. The towels and everything else we were asked every day if we wanted them to be replaced with new ones and it was always cleaned and everything was in place. About facilities, yes there's everything that is mentioned. It is a very safe place to stay regarding expensive jewelry, money, etc. I also want to thank you for the EARLY CHECK-IN, and for allowing us to leave our luggage after check-out so that we could walk around and enjoy our last moments in Malta. Also, thanks Luke for letting me surprise my girlfriend for her birthday. It was very good, it was very clean, the maids were very nice as well as the people at the reception. If you book this place, you won't regret it. Highly recommended. Thanks for everything again, see you next year, same room 701, please.

Both the room and bathroom are spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable and there are supermarkets nearby. We didn't have a view from the small balcony but there was plenty of light in the room. The location is very nice because it is super close to a bus station that connects it to Valetta, Rabat and Airport. Even though the area is lively at night, we didn't have issues sleeping. You can here the sounds coming from the hallway though. The shared laundry was useful and also the dishwasher was welcomed.

The bathroom could use some hangers. Because there are none, it is very hard to dry the towels or to hang the clothes while showering. There is no one at the reception. However if you need anything you just have to write on Booking chat with them and they respond very quickly. I asked for someone to come at the reception so that we can pay the city tax and someone came in 5 minutes maximum.

The location is great with a pleasant environment and lots of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The rooms are clean and spacious and have a fully equipped kitchen.

Communication with the staff could be better. It was self Check-in and check-out, using an access code sent to guests. There is no one at the reception and I couldn't tell if the people walked arround are guests or staff, you have to contact the owner's phone if necessary. There was a disappointing disregard and lack of response to the message we sent asking to extend the check-out time a little longer. To be fair, there was a quick response on WhatsApp when we contacted about a power outage in the room and the problem was quickly fixed remotely.

My first impression when we entered the room was how fresh and new everything was. I've been to countless apartment-hotels where the wear and tear is shown. Every single item in the kitchen felt brand new and clean, it had an oven, stove, kettle, toaster, anything you'd need, a great, full size fridge and freezer. Fantastic water pressure (that's not always a guarantee in Malta) and even Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom. The owner as well as well as the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The location is fantastic. You have convenience stores, coffee places, a bus stop (where most buses stops) just a few steps from the door, and just a few minutes to the bay where you have all the restaurants, cafes and the gorgeous scenery. It is a very safe neighborhood as well. I will definitely book this again when we come back and have honestly already recommended it to a few friends that are regularly visiting Malta.

The balcony was tiny and more like a window, but that was literally my only concern.

The hotel is located in a quiet side street, just a few minutes from the beach. Everything is modern and very clean. Upon arrival, while our room was being prepared, we could store our luggages in the hotel's luggage room. The owner and the staff are very kind and attentive to every small detail. I always received very quick responses for my messages and questions. The room looks exactly like it's in the pictures on Booking.com. The room was very clean, and the bed linens were fragrant. The kitchen was very well equipped. Towels were changed daily, the room was tidied, and the trash was taken out. I’m glad I chose this hotel. Thank you for everything!

Location: Right in the middle of St. Giljan, with buses to all relevant destinations within 1-2 min walk. Close to nice restaurants and bars/nightlife, but without the noise pollution. Room: Spacious, modern and with all necessities covered. Highlight for us was the built in speaker in the bathroom! Cooking your own meals is possible as well. Bed: Beds are nice and sleep comfortably. Host: Luke is very friendly and helpful. Has good recommendations for things to do, and how to do them. It's a new hotel with not that many reviews, but we are very happy we took the chance anyway. We would stay here again. Take the boattour!

An extra pan for cooking would make more dishes possible. The pillows could have been better, but that's personal preference.
