Amazing location in heart of St Julian! Hostel has an amazing colorful vibe and great rooftop. Nice and kind receptionists helped me with recommendations and everything else. Room with balcony is spacious, bed is comfortable, you have your private locker and sheets. Wifi is good. Bathroom and kitchen are nice and clean. I would like to stay here again.

AC was cooling the whole room and it was a little bit chilly. My bed was under the AC and I was cold at night so hostel team provided the blanket which I appreciate.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location was great, good room size and a balcony even with hostel dorms which was a nice touch. The rooftop was amazing, a great place to sunbathe or meet other travellers and the happy hour drinks deals made the prices extremely reasonable. I saw a lot of complaints in the reviews about the showers, so I was nervous, but to be honest I thought the showers were absolutely fine and saw the staff cleaning them regularly. I've stayed in hostels where the showers were a LOT worse, so not sure if the other reviewers haven't stayed in many other hostels and that could be the issue? there were a few minor issues like the key to my lock drawer stopped working and within seconds once I told the cleaning staff they had someone come to help and were very friendly. Good atmopshere overall. I stayed with friends but ended up leaving with even more friends! A lot of fun and I would come back and stay again :).

Not to complain but more to provide some feedback to help improve - we saw on the website advertised a tour to the blue lagoon etc and it said that it was with the hostel and included a cocktail on the rooftop when you come back. when we booked it, the man on the desk said that the boat had a slide and that there were several other people from the hostel also doing the tour. when we got there, it was ran by a third party, nobody else from the hostel, on a very old boat with no slide and nothing like the photo/description and there was no cocktail at the end on the rooftop like mentioned. not a huge deal as we had a good time anyway, but just some feedback to be careful as next time there might be a guest that complains about this ;)

I liked the wide range of activities offered by the hostel, such as tours and parties in the attic. The truth is that the hostel is absolutely incredible, one of the best I've ever stayed in. The bar on the terrace adds a lot of value to the hostel; I had a great time there. The friendliness of the hostel staff and guides is also unbeatable. Especially Patricia, the guide with whom I took a tour to Rabat-Mdina. The location is also very privileged. I totally recommend it, and I will definitely stay there again when I return to Malta.

The only problem with the hostel is that the lock on the showers is rusty and difficult to open. In fact, on the second day, I cut myself slightly trying to open the lock. Furthermore, they didn't have any band-aids at reception, so I had to treat the wound myself. In the end, I didn't get tetanus, but it was quite a scare. I would only change the locks on the showers in cabin 6. Otherwise, the hostel is incredible.

The location was very central and nice, close to the bus stop, a few beaches and all the bar/club scene as well as many restaurants. The rooftop bar was so fun, the hostel was a very good place to socialize. If you want to party, this is the place. The bed was comfortable, I loved the privacy blind and the lockers worked well.

There aren’t enough shower spots on each floor, the bathrooms are small and not the cleanest. The room also had a weird smell. The free hostel tours are not organized well, so I’d suggest paying and using other companies for boat tours etc.

Very good value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Curtains on the beds make it nice and private. It's a great place to meet people and has a really nice rooftop bar where you can take your own food or buy a drink. I was there in winter when the bar and surrounds are quieter during the week, but on the weekends there's a lot happening at the bar and in the surrounding area. The toilets and showers are kept super clean and reception is 24h.

Not the hostel's fault, but there was some kind of construction work going on when I was there, which made some early weekday mornings noisy. It sounded like it was in the building next door or downstairs, and sometimes seemed to start as early as 7am. I was on the lowest floor though, so I think it would've been quieter upstairs.

This hostel is beautifully decorated, the wall art is outstanding. This was my second stay and i chose to extend 4 days more. The staff all working constantly, everything is clean and comfortable at al times. They have a well equipped kitchen with comfortable outdoor seating area, perfect for breakfast or lunchtime. The roof top is great any time of day or night. The evenings are enjoyable for relaxing and good music or conversation. The nights are also fun, thanks to the bar staff, excellent drinks, discounts and great music. The location is ideal, everything you need is close by or within easy reach by bus. I recommend buying the Tallinja card at the airport because it saves you so much time and money. I love the hostel free walking tours, definitely recommend; Patricia is awesome, so many wonderful sights to see and she makes it all so easy and enjoyable for everyone in the group.

The people were great. The room and bed were comfortable, and the place was clean. Location was very convenient.

I would get rid of the neon paint in the entry. It looks tacky. Go more upscale. Also, you need a place for people to eat and sit in the evening. There is none. In the evening there is only the bar with loud music and flashing lights. Too dark and not pleasant for eating. The kitchen could be a bit bigger too.

Excellent hostel, everything great. Whole place is very clean and comfortable, good shower and toilet facilities. Location is ideal, easy to get to other areas on the island. There's good transport links and plenty of tasty affordable food establishments nearby. Absolutely outstanding service from all staff, especially Yaseer and Geraldine in reception... Best in Malta; the rooftop bar is very pleasant and much appreciated, nice for relaxing in the evenings and/or party through the night. Fun place to meet new friends, definitely will book again and recommend to all travellers

If you’re a solo traveller , it’s a must you stay here!! People were so easy to meet, everyone was social and made some awesome friends. Felt super safe and everyone was respectful

The air cons should be on 24/7 especially in summer season. Had to ask reception to turn it on during the day as it was boiling in the room and was met with attitude. Toilets need abit of an upgrade considering how often their used, it didn’t bother me much as it got the job done but the mould started to smell

Absolutely loved the people- the staff throughout the hostel were really friendly and helpful, and the other guests are also typically young solo travellers looking to make friends and have fun. Regular nightly events on the rooftop also made it easy to make friends with other travellers. I appreciated also having my own personal space in the hostel- each bed is relatively spacious and equipped with a curtain, shelf, light, plug, and luggage locker. There is also a kitchen upstairs with space to keep personal groceries for longer stays.

The rooms can get hot- the air-conditioning is on during the night from 9pm-10am but otherwise there isn't a cool area to work in during the day. The locks also sometimes did not work properly, but the staff were always on hand to assist. As with most places in Malta, there was no drinking water available, although water could be easily purchased from the bar or supermarket.
