I had a wonderful stay at Mercure Hotel St. Julian’s. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast was excellent every morning – fresh options, good variety, and high quality. The cleanliness of the room and common areas was impeccable, with everything spotless and well-maintained. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Malta!

My first impression .. I was very impressed! The staff were very friendly and so welcoming. The Mercure was very clean and cool (the temperature outside was very hot)!! The security man welcomed us first and shook mine and my partners hand. He introduced himself Bhim Raj Ghale and was so welcoming. He would talk to us every evening and was helpful advising how to get around and nice places to go. Check in was very quick and straightforward and the receptionist was very informative too regarding any questions we had or trips we could book if we wanted to. The property was so convenient and near everything we could possibly want. Our room was very clean, spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Shower was great too. Absolutely everything was amazing! The roof top pool was lovely and relaxing and the food was always freshly cooked and very tasty!! Alison was also very helpful and went the extra mile for us on our last day sorting out our taxi to the airport… Thank you Alison!

There was nothing to dislike about this property! It went well beyond my expectations!

Everything was perfect. Hotel is very well located,room was clean and tidy. Roof top pool with amazing view.

When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby was full of guests, but that didn't stop the friendly reception staff from spotting us and immediately welcoming us. Lobby and corridors smell very nice. Our room, like the entire hotel, was sparkling clean. In general, all the staff at the hotel were very friendly, each of them would stop to ask us if everything was ok and if we needed anything. We had dinner on the roof of the hotel by the pool, with a breathtaking view. The pistachio pizza was delicious, I recommend everyone to try it. My stay at the Mercure Hotel St. Julian’s was simply spectacular. From the very first moment, the staff welcomed me with a warm smile and impeccable professionalism. The attention to detail was evident in every corner of the hotel: modern, spotless, and extremely comfortable rooms, with an impressive view of the city and the sea. The location is perfect—right in the vibrant heart of St. Julian’s, just steps away from restaurants, shops, and the beautiful Maltese coastline, yet quiet enough to enjoy a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was another highlight: varied, delicious, and made with fresh ingredients every day. The rooftop pool is pure luxury. Relaxing there at sunset, with panoramic views, is a priceless experience. Plus, the gym and common areas are always spotless. I highly recommend Mercure St. Julian’s to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and a experience in Malta. I’ll definitely be back!

Hotel located very conveniently, bus stop 2 mins away. Staff were truly helpful and always wearing a smile on their faces. And breakfast was definitely above my expectations - a variety of food (also for vegeterians like myself), freshly squizzed orange juice, tasty pastries, coffee from a machine.

The property is in a very good location and very strategic place as the bus stop is three minutes walk away. The hotel was super clean,breakfast was superb and being a vegan I was able to find bits and pieces to eat.- I had booked myself a double room with a back on h and sea view and upon checking Marie got me to a surprise that I’ve been upgraded to a Privilege Double room with a balcony and a beautiful sea view. Must say the staff were super amazing haven’t felt so much love in a hotel and so upon extending my stay for one more day as I had activities to finish i extended and got me a double room with no balcony and no view. As I got ready to pack and leave my beautiful room to the smaller room I got a call that o could keep my room and that melted my heart as I was already comfortable and didn’t have to pack and unpack. Alison amazing receptionist who was always smiling and welcomin,Marie another beautiful soul and Supervisor Javier for letting this gal keep her room,. Alison,Javier and Marie bless you all for making my stay amazing .

Kindly have plant based milk for vegans in breakfast buffet. So much construction all around the hotel and in general almost everywhere around Malta it could get noisy if you the kind to wake up later as constructions start early around the hotel but that’s out of the hotel so control and it’s acceptable.

Spacious, clean, powerful, hot shower and very comfortable bed. Rooftop is nice, would be good if they had sauna/steam room facilities. Location is great, on the edge of st Julian's so it's easy access to the town, as well as being able to get out easily (bus stop is at the end of the road). They have parking as well, which was one of my main reasons for booking here.

Areas for improvement - a sauna/steam room would elevate this hotel - complimentary bottled water every day in room (only provided on first day 😱) - towels need an update (bit worn from overuse) - slippers/robe in rooms (I asked for slippers and they were provided, but they should be standard)

The Hotel staff really make a difference at the Mercure in Saint Julian. From the personnel at the reception to the bartender at the roof top bar and the waiters and waitresses in the breakfast lounge, they made every effort to accommodate my requests. I can say that the personnel are certainly very professional and prepared in the hospitality sector. ., The cab service working for the hotel was also very reliable. They have all been so nice and kind to me that I would have liked to spend more time in Saint Julian. I was also very touched when I found a gift for me waiting in my room on the evening of my birthday. It was such a nice gesture that I have appreciated it very much.

Great location, daily room cleaning, lovely rooftop area, modern hotel and helpful staff, rooms were nice and modern. Nice air conditioning. Long checkout times/breakfast times and security at nights.

Some staff were still in training and made a few mistakes in terms of being a bit slow to pick up on things and wrong orders etc but that’s to be expected. Whilst rooms were cleaned daily there were a few issues including some areas having a high dust build up and bent sofa bed, damage to balcony door etc. Breakfast was nice but the photos on the page are slightly misleading compared to what is served in reality. These are all minor gripes to an overall fantastic stay
