Great location, friendly staff, nice varied breakfast and clean. Fantastic views from our balcony! And on my birthday I had a surprise cake & note which was a thoughtful touch!

We stayed in March and had wonderful weather but our room was very warm in the evenings. The AC options were set to a heat mode that we couldn’t change. We had varying feedback from reception staff - open balcony door (we had two kids so didn’t feel comfortable with this option over night), “we will send someone to look at it” (didn’t notice any change), “it’s technically the winter period so we have heating on”. However it didn’t overshadow the great stay that we had! But would have made our sleeping situation a little more comfortable.

Excellent location, close to Spinola Bay, yet in a quiet peninsula with yacht marina. Excellent pool area, even though access to the actual sea not easy. Excellent breakfast, service by the pool very fast, quality of poolside food very good and fairly priced. Excellent gym and indoor pool.

Rooms are NOT 5-star standard, large, but quite basic, and getting old. Carpet in corridor worn out, maybe all hotel needs a face-lift. Staff walked around and hung around corridors of hotel at around 00:30 talking very loudly and waking us up. What was disappointing was that the Quarterdeck bar was unavailable due to a private function - I find it unacceptable when you go to stay in a hotel because of certain amenities (that you technically pay for in your room rate) such as this lovely bar suspended over the marina, and then find that its not available as the hotel wants to make even more money by having a private function in that bar. The other hotel bar is not the same standard and service very very slow and poor (not clearing empty bottles etc).

The location is excellent. It is a big structure very well kept. Food is very decent as well considering the size of the hotel

I did not like the fact that the pool sauna and steam room were open to the public. As a result all the facilities were overcrowded. It was quite unpleasant. I think during peak times facilities should be accessibile only by hotel guests

Family HOLIDAY 2 adults, 2 kids (age 2&9), 3 nights, deluxe family room with marina view. 2 x double beds in the room and was spacious enough for all of us for a good sleep. Beds are comfortable, ensuite bathroom was superb , balcony is accessible via sliding door. Hotel staff are good and helpful. Closer to local restaurants , 10-15 min walk. Local supermarkets are also close by. Valetta is about 30 min drive , Uber taxi will cost about £13 approx . Indoor heated pool was accessible to kids without time restriction, can be crowded on some times but common to all holiday resorts ! SPA facilities are really good too. Local food delivery service is called Wolt. Uber and Bolt available for transport.

Not related to hotel but weather was cold. We travelled in December. Outdoor pools are not used due to cold water. None of the guests seen using outdoor pools. Weather can be windy and cold during days/nights, a jacket is a must for outdoor activities.

Great location. Lovely outdoor pool area with gradual sloping walk in which was ideal for the children. Plenty of sun beds. Health spa, gymnasium and indoor pool areas were well maintained, spacious and well equipped. Staff were very friendly always openly greeting you when they passed by. The bell boys were quick and efficient when dropping off/collecting our luggage and housekeeping were very prompt our dry cleaning/pressing requirements.

On the whole our stay was amazing but there was one issue that the hotel needs to address. Due to a few days of bad weather the lobby bar, which again was spacious and bright, was the only place to get drinks and snacks outside of restaurant hours. Being overwhelmed by the extra residents the staff couldn’t cope. Service was slow, drinks were incorrect and often hot drinks were cold before they were delivered.

Among a lot of perfect things, I would like to highlight that, the food- and the kindness of the staff was extraordinary.

We only disliked the centrally controlled AC in the room. Because during the nights it cooled down the room unneccessarily and only opening the balcony door stopped it -as we experienced. Indeed it was fine during most of our nights, even when the hotel was hosting a wedding party, but one night was too noisy due to loud youngsters partying till 5 AM in the nearby. Of course I totally understand what is in the background and why that is so, but during that night it was an issue for us.

The breakfast was of the highest standard I have ever experienced. The selection was fantastic—diverse, generous, and absolutely delightful. Every morning, I looked forward to it. A lovely surprise was the fitness section, which offered daily workout sessions for guests, including Pilates, yoga, Zumba, spinning, and aqua fitness. I have never seen anything like this in any other hotel before. The location around the hotel was undoubtedly the most beautiful on this coastline. If I ever visit Malta again, I would definitely choose this hotel without hesitation!

We liked the indoor pool area, sauna and steam room and the fact that there is a lane for swimming in peace without small children next to you. The breakfast was very good, good variety and everything was delicious.

For the room, I expected more. I paid for 2 queen beds but they ended up double. I chose queen bed because I am recovering from a broken ankle and needed space to sleep comfortable using lots of pillows. That was the only negative thing that I have to say. For a 5 star hotel, we pretended a better room to be honest. Could have been better.

ROOMS & Staff: Spacious and large complex, very comfortable and high-quality furniture and equipment. Pool area very clean, you can relax and read a book. Staff and employees are very friendly and courteous, even personal wishes were not overlooked. free, versatile fitness area and spa. Very nice sea view. BREAKFAST: Very large breakfast rooms inside and outside and very good international cuisine, including typical local dishes. Varied and of high quality. Freshly squeezed fruit juices, farmhouse bread. Vegans and vegetarians in particular will feel very comfortable here. There are also many different hot dishes with or without meat. Facilities are gorgeous, room was lovely , marina view was amazing. Breakfast was extremely varied and delicious. Positioned in a relatively quiet neighbourhood near the marina. Download the Bolt app for taxis. Taxi from the Hilton to the airport cost €16. We got the bus from our area to Sliema for €2 each. The water taxi from Sliema to Valletta was also €2 each one way. Carnival was on when we went to Valletta (End of Feb) hence the crowded street photo. It’s not always like that! They use the UK 3 pin plug sockets so no need to take EU plug converters.

The chap in the room next to us smoked late at night in his room despite the rooms being non-smoking! 🙄. We got the smell of smoke in our room two nights on the trot. We couldn’t use the hotel bar one night as it had been booked for a private party and it was the only night where they had a jazz night on so that was disappointing.
